BEFORE: Team Theron reeling from defeat, the loss of the title, and the sheer punishment inflicted by Govich: no time to dwell as a potentially even bigger hitter appears on the horizon. "It's a relentless challenge," Theron admits in prefight, "possibly the toughest of my career. These girls are big, strong and motivated, and I've already been stung once for not taking their quality seriously. Kate's a better fighter than Milena, so I have to be better too. I have to be, and I will be. The fortunes of the Crusade are about to take a turn for the worse!"

Upton all big smiles, cocky winks, and friendly with the press...she's a very confident super-model coming in. "Theron's on the ropes, and that's where we're going to keep her," Kate predicts at podium. "Just one girl after another, bringing the fight to Charlize...this is a great thing. This is right up there with battering Brooklyn Decker in terms of my personal goals: hammering Theron helpless; beating her up and reducing her just that much more for the next girl...this is history in the making!"

During R1: BOOMING right hands to the body slug CT into a grumpy, frazzled aspect early...Theron with left side angled at her foe; left across her gut; right at left shoulder. Upton baring teeth, reaching back with the right to smash wide roundhouses to Theron's back - or picking the elbow up high to the side, then driving straight-righty in above CT's left hip. Theron tottering around, unable to hold canvas against weight of shot, unable to punch back...she's just presenting the closed-stance, keeping herself compact, trying to withstand the barrage. Sweeping hook bashes off Theron's face, unhinging her knees: Kate palms-up, shoving Theron roughly to ropes, shifting to a position just off CT's right hip and swinging a beefy sidearm right to the pit of Theron stomach. CHARLIZE GOES DOWN! Sobbing blurt of pain, Theron...she pitches to hands and knees in gut-shock, head bowed as grinning Upton steps across that Oscar-winning back, then struts to neutral corner. Theron rallies off the deck for a reeling 8 at ropes: ON COMES KATE! Upton wades in dukes-at-chest, twisting torso-right to load up her right hand, then swinging it lusty for ribs. Back the other way as Kate loads up her left and wallops CT's right flank...Theron groaning, sitting in ropes, keeping elbows in, drooping forward under a hellish bombardment. Job of work for young Kate: she pushes to stack, either shoving a right hand to CT's midsection, or belting away wide both hands to flanks. Devastating stuff checks and re-checks CT's legs...proud champion shuddering, sagging into ropes to prevent knockdowns. Clobbering wallop clubs away head-and-shoulders on CT, buffetting her from one foot to the other...Theron tempest-tossed, getting battered and ragdolled as Kate administers titanic shove-and-slug. Bell: Kate's mighty chest HEAVING with exertion, her mouth open, hands on hips...Theron shellshocked, hugging her battered torso, face up-tilted, eyes shut, lips pursed in pain as Katie looks her over.

R2: Kate storms in all jugs a-jumpin' - healthy shove sees Theron to ropes, then it's whoopin' and a-whompin', Kate on Charlize. Upton glowing: hair in her eyes as she twists and swings healthy roundhouse wallops at either Theron flank. Charlize' mouth agape at the damage - big, bashing blows pounding her sides, sending tremors down sleek thighs. Charlize sliding to her right along ropes...Upton stepping-with, reaching in to stack as necessary: simple application of vivacious young leather to the problem of Theron's golden goodness. Pace slows through second minute - Kate mouthbreathing, starting to punch herself out...CUE COMEBACK! Theron sharp-shooting off the ropes...absorbing a trio of batting right hands wide to left hip, CT answers-back a chopping right to jaw, stunning Upton on the spot. Theron hooks the gut - Upton bunches up - Theron hooks gut, then swipes jug with that limber left - laying back in ropes after scoring. Kate grumpy, but determined to slug...she falls into ponderous rhythm of wide right hands to Theron's right side - easy for Charlize to roll-with, then answer back short, sharp, screened right hands from closed stance. UPTON GOES WOBBLY-BUTT! Kate unglued, stepping in fence post holes...Charlize sidesteps off the ropes, turns Upton's left flank, cuffing come-along hooks under Kate's chin to turn her, then PASTING her the clean right cross. Kate's mouthpiece flies off her teeth as she stumbles back into ropes...her turn to form groggy earmuff as Charlize squares away, earning a measure of shellacking revenge at bell.

R3: Both women hurt, badly depleted...Theron goes to work midring with her jab and leggy, stepping footwork. Charlize slowly rotating clockwise, right at her cheek, left hand springing off her shoulder at unpredictable intervals, punching at Kate's mouth, eyes. CT in wide stance - those golden legs long and strong as she plants on the left to deliver poke, then pivots easy to her left. Upton grumpy, lumping up...she's holding mitts-at-chin, staring into Theron's jab while turning to stay square - Kate's head spanking back from stick every few seconds. Over the latter half the round, Theron begins deploying rangy right crosses to Kate's breasts - pounding away systematic - just extending on blows, landing and moving. Bell: Theron nodding to herself in approval...she touches Katie up for points and punishment, sending Upton back corner in frazzled condition.

R4: Kate catches second wind, getting a body on Theron, bulling her to ropes, pushing and punching. Charlize getting ragdolled, forced to slug off the ropes or wrestle with the heavier girl as Upton crowds-close...fight gets sloppy/brutal as Upton turns brawler. Kate brawny-effective - reaching her arms under Theron's, chesting Charlize ragdoll into ropes, then pulling arms free to pound the midsection. Theron grimacing, tying up...she's trying to grapple-reverse off the ropes, but Kate's too strong, stuffing the attempts, bodying CT down, then bashing away. Down the stretch, it's Kate working from the wrap - her left under CT's right, slumping Theron forward for pumping rights to midsection. Theron helpless, face pinched, lips parted, her right hand light on Kate's left shoulder as body blows slam home to bell. Before disengaging, Kate plants a rough peck-of-disrespect on Theron's right cheek...CT just making a cramped "Uhh!" face as she's crippled on the spot.

R5: More Upton on Theron violence...kid making her beef the deciding factor in the fight as she pours herself at Theron, reaching under CT's arms to stack her ropeside, then brawling away from there. Theron wilting under the constant press of flesh and beat of fists...she's showing face-in-gloves, rolling in the pocket, trying to snipe back in spots. Upton constantly heaving Theron ragdoll into ropes, working out of the wrap to beat right hands to midsection. Down the stretch, Kate gets even bigger, using left hand to push CT's face/head back over top rope while delivering brutal overhand right forearms across the breasts. Theron shouting in pain, unraveling, face pinched in shock as Kate overwhelms her with simple brutality at bell.

R6: Theron fighting grim pocket-battles along ropes, presenting her left flank in closed-stance; nuisance-jabbing Kate's belly as a prod; rolling-with Kate's right hand, then fitting her for cutey-pie counter rights in exchange. Upton mindless in her attacks - terrifically strong with robust, belting right hands wide to CT's back and flank, but predictable. Charlize able to chip away, scoring repeatedly to chin off the counter, gradually putting Kate wobblybutt. Midway through, Theron able to clinch-reverse Kate into ropes...Upton's head lolling, mouth open, hair in her eyes as she looks suddenly swamped. CT bares fangs, shifts weight to left (lead) leg; hooks the gut; trims Katie's chin the swiping left uppercut; slops the right onto Upton's jug-tops; pitches torso-right to hack a short left to jug; torso-left to chop the short right to jug and before long...THERON'S BOMBING RACK WITH GUSTO! CT in there strong, switching herself side to side, getting her back into short, drifting lefts and rights to jug. Poor Kate in a fog, her hands outside CT's shoulders, groggily trying to tie up high on Theron, but Charlize getting her forearms up to deny clinches, then pouring back into rack. It's all too much...Kate's head lolling as she unravels...CT so focussed, plowing away short, muscular lefts and rights to one of the proudest racks in Hollywood and THE REF STEPS IN! Blubbering Katie cradled to safety as mouth-breathing Theron waves an exhausted right hand in the air. TKO6 Theron - she draws even with the Crusade at 1-1.

Delighted Brooklyn Decker tweet: "Haha! I'd hit that harder than Charlize just did! Haha!"

After: Kate still blubbering when a scowling Theron comes for her...CT pulling Upton off her stool by left wrist, then parading her. Charlize with right arm strong around the hips, left hand waving...she's tugging rough, positioning Upton in corners, posing her for pictures. Poor Kate a mess - tears streaming down her cheeks, left arm working in between the bodies in an effort to push away from CT, but Theron's holding her close. Message not lost on the Crusaders at ringside - Charlize making steely eye-contact with each and every one of them, making a silent promise to treat them just as shabby when their turn comes.
