Now, Helena looked impressive when she laid out the feisty Natalie Gumede last time out, getting off the canvas to beat the English prospect, but Irish model Orlaith has defeated former champion Rochelle Wiseman, so this looks like being a hard fight.

As for their outfits – Helena’s in a black bikini, with Orlaith choosing green of course, and the two blondes look good, I have to say.

Round 1

The girls are a little cagey here, with the younger Helena not really looking that much of a prospect just yet, and Orlaith can find her with her jab, so she does, using her reach there, and making the actress cover up and slide around the ring. This is good from the Irish girl, and she’s got her girl where she wants her, keeps her there as well, just near the corner of the ring, and Orlaith’s finding the girl’s face an easy target right now, even with that defensive guard – c’mon Mattson, you’ve got to show something or this girl’s gonna waste you! That’s a really one-sided opening round, and Orlaith looks happy.

Round 2

Again we can see that Orlaith’s really up for this fight, and she’s taking it to Helena right now, but the Swedish girl’s just intent on making a mess of her, gripping her, twisting her, and turning her. It’s not great to watch, but it’s not supposed to be – she’s trying to wear Orlaith down, and the model’s getting a little frustrated, and takes a couple of shots to the body there, which seems to have woken her up a bit, because she’s after Helena, and she’s thumped her quite neatly with her left hook smack on the button, but Helena takes it! This girl is no softie, and she half grins as Orlaith wilts a little, even though she’s probably coughed up a second round.

Round 3

Here comes Orlaith again, throwing some good shots at Helena, but the Swede’s looking quicker now, and maybe she’s a little too quick for the model, keeps out of her way well, but gets closed in there, in comes Orlaith with her girl on the ropes – aw, but she was just letting her get inside to turn her and counterpunch! That’s good work from Mattsson, giving Orlaith a couple of hefty punches to the mouth in there, and the Irish girl didn’t like that at all – she’s holding, but still getting hit. The ref’s working hard to prise these two apart but Orlaith’s the one holding now, and I think Helena hurt her with that combo – yeah – Orlaith’s not looking happy any more, and that bell’s more than welcome for the Page 3 girl.

Round 4

I’d say Orlaith has stopped enjoying this fight, and Helena’s giving her some punishment in there now, really taking it to the model’s body, and she’s taking the strength out of the girl with those punches, hurting her as well, and Orlaith is just trying to hang onto the Swede as best she can. The ref’s just pulled the girls apart again, and back comes Mattsson straight away, and that’s a solid left hand in the Irish girl’s mouth – she’s starting to topple! Another good punch from Helena there, and Orlaith’s on the floor this time – she couldn’t take that left hook! She’s up again though at 6, but she’s been shaken by those punches, and Helena’s after her again, and she really made that left hook to the ribs tell – I almost felt that! There’s the bell again, and Orlaith is still a little wobbly.

Round 5

What’s Helena doing now? She’s backing away from Orlaith like she’s scared of her, but if this is a trick to make the model chase her down, it’s not working, cos the Irish girl’s taking the chance to get a breather now, beginning to get her senses together – I can’t help feeling Helena made a mistake there, and so does her corner! They’re screaming at their girl to get stuck into the model, and she’s taking notice of them now, and those are good shots she’s landing there, Orlaith’s head taking a battering – and she’s cut! McAlister’s cut between the eyes, and that doesn’t look good! This looks worse, though, cos Helena’s given her a lovely uppercut, and Orlaith’s back on the floor, smack on her butt, and she looks really unsure of herself as she gets up again at 7. Helena’s surely not gonna back off again? Well, that’s the bell, so we don’t know what she was planning.

Round 6

The ref’s not sure about that cut between Orlaith’s eyes, but she wants to carry on so, off they go again, and she’s even landed a couple of shots on Helena there – the Swedish girl’s backing away again, and I think she wants the ref to stop this! Helena’s letting Orlaith come at her, restricting herself to punching the model’s body at the moment, and she eats the Irish girl’s right hook there! That’ll learn her! And maybe that was Orlaith’s mistake, since now Helena is belting her again in the face, and she’s backed up into the ropes, with Helena smacking her about, but she’s standing up to it better in this round, which she’s clearly still lost, but regained some dignity, and she looks a little better as she walks back to her corner.

Round 7

Helena took a lecture on her stool there, and she’s looking stony-faced as she closes Orliath down, the model sticking out her jab almost hopefully, but she’s getting a drubbing right here in her corner – there’s no escape, and that cut’s opened up again – there’s the uppercut, and Orlaith’s down again, her face a mask of pain as she gets up at 8, and I don’t think she can take any more of this – and neither does the ref, because he’s stooped this fight.

Well, Orlaith was brave out there – but outclassed and outgunned, I’m afraid by Helena.
