Now, these girls don’t like each other, and they have of course fought before! Last time Imogen comfortably put Clara to sleep in round 6, then gave her the walk of shame, which will not be available tonight – the rules prohibit post-fight humiliation. Clara always insisted that her defeat was really a hangover from the terrific effort she put into taking Mary Elizabeth Winstead 9 rounds, and the beating she took afterwards. Imogen has only lost once – to Alesha Dixon, and she still reckons she won that fight.

Here comes Clara, and she’s wearing a baby blue bra and panties set tonight, looking really hot, with Imogen not quite comparing in her red bikini, I have to say.

Round 1

Now this is a surprise! Neither girl seems to want to make a move, and they’re just sparring at each other, not really connecting too much. Imogen’s goading Clara, and the French girl make a move quickly, and she’s landed a good shot there to Imogen’s body, but she takes two, three shots to the face in return, and has to back into the ropes. She mustn’t stay there for long, because that’s where the model will hurt her, and she’s doing just that, giving the actress some good ones with either hand, and Clara’s clinching. Back she comes, though, and she’s caught Imogen with a right hand – not enough to take the round off the champion, but enough to remind her she’s there.

Round 2

Now the girls are going at it more, and it’s Clara getting the upper hand this time around, speeding up her movement, she’s catching Imogen with her right hook, and rocking the Welsh girl backwards. Now Imogen’s on the ropes, and she’s getting a few punches in the body to think about there – but she’s a strong girl, and she clinches and holds, not letting the French girl hit her inside. The ref’s working hard to keep these two apart, with both of them seeming to prefer brawling at the moment, but now when he breaks them Clara lands a good shot to Imogen’s face, and another, and she’s worrying the champ now, and she’s got to rethink her strategy, because Clara’s just as strong as she is, I reckon.

Round 3

Clara’s looking really confident now, and she’s just banging her gloves into Imogen’s body here, smoothly working her along the ropes towards her own corner, and she hit her then with a really good one – that sent Thomas’s head sideways! Imogen’s hurt and beginning to look dazed, and Clara’s on her again – good shot to the tummy – Imogen’s exposed, gets tagged with a left hook – Imogen’s on the floor! That was a great attack from Clara, and Imogen felt those punches, but is on her feet again at 7, waiting for the French girl, who gets into her again, and she cracked her with a good left again – Thomas took it well, but she’s vulnerable here, and she takes a good one-two from Clara, who really has got into her stride, and she hurts Imogen again, a right hook this time, and I think she’s well on top now.

Round 4

I thought Imogen was a little slow to leave her corner, and this is giving Clara all the encouragement she needs, and the actress is taking control again here, really landing some good shots, wobbling Imogen again with her left hook, and Thomas holds on to stay in this fight. Morgane pushes her away with disdain, and rips her across the face with a right and a left, and that’s put the champ on her back, blood trickling from her nose. The model’s up again at 8, but Clara may be taking her title away right here as she bludgeons her body, and she’s just working on Thomas now, taking the remaining strength out of her, maybe setting her up to finish her off?

Round 5

Clara again is just wading into Imogen, giving the model some rough treatment with some good punches around her ribs, and gradually the Welsh girl wilts under this pressure, and she sinks to her knees at Clara’s feet, almost in supplication! Morgane’s motioning for Thomas to get up, and she does – at 8 – but she’s not looking interested in continuing this fight, her gloves low simply due to pain and exhaustion, and Clara’s still giving it to her, pushing her around the ring, and she’s cornered her – big uppercut from Clara! That’s goodnight Imogen and good bye to her title belt!

Clara Morgane knocked Imogen Thomas out in round 5 to become the new BBU bantamweight champion.

Wow! Two title fights and two French champions! Clara’s good – make no mistake! She certainly didn’t against Imogen! She battered her from the first bell to the last!
