BBU: THED TRIPLE CROWN BY CROWN ROYAL

(KEAR'S KATS VS GIRLS FRIDAY)

Posted by Jeremy & Vassago on November 21, 2012, 11:19 pm

These two women haven't fought much this year, just one appearance each for Kym Marsh and Liz McClarnon which brought no success as the raven-haired actress lost a split decision to Helena Mattsson while the blonde singer was stopped by Kerry Katona in rather brutal fashion. The Ascot event serves as a perfect opportunity to restore the careers of both Kym and Liz and allthough the brunette has a positive record, it was mainly the product of her great start into BBU back in 2010. Things don't look so good for her since she came back after giving birth over a year ago and she only managed to defeat Keisha Buchanan who is still winless and considered a jobber by fellow rivals.

Liz also beat Keisha but that's her only win in BBU competition and the former Atomic Kitten singer is desperate to shrug off a jobber image attached to her. "I've waited a long time for this one", confident looking blonde says before the fight, "Kym Marsh is an old and fat tramp I will pound into a pulp tonight! My real BBU career starts here in Ascot!" However the raven-haired actress thinks otherwise and is quick to point out the difference: "I've heard that Liz wants to knock me out. Brave thing to say from a jobber like her! I've nearly defeated Helena Mattsson this year and Liz is just a piece of trash I will dump in the bin with ease. Expect a big knockout from me and Liz picking up her jaw from the floor!"

Both women enter the ring wearing one-piece glamour outfits. Kym in all-black with red gloves; Liz in all-white with blue gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1

Quick start from the brunette who signals that she won't be messing around much tonight. She jabs to the body early, flicks couple of uppercuts around the head and Liz is forced to move around in defensive mode already. Kym single strikes to the chest, but switches high again and snaps the singer's head back with a big left which brings a smile on her face. Liz looks somewhat bleak and takes more shots under the elbows before the fires a response, but skims off the brunette's guards and gets nailed with another big hook on the breasts. Marsh pours in with more venom, pushes the blonde back to the ropes with a series to the body, finds another right hook over the top that breaks through the mitts and catches the blonde on the mouth. Liz winces in pain, but is unable to jump away into safety as Kym traps her along the ropes and punches to the stomach, keeping the blonde stranded until the bell in dangerous spot.

Round 2

More aggression from Marsh as McClarnon shows little signs of threatening her and barely grazes the body before getting thumped by another vicious hook to the chest as Kym throws a series to the head and forces her opponent to cover up. Liz avoids more leather but her footwork is doing her no favors as Marsh just bashes her to the body in the middle of the ring, wobbling the blonde on her feet and pushing back to the ropes again. Liz finally throws some meaningful shots, catches Kym on the cheeks with a double hooking combo, but the actress leans on her and whacks a huge left on the ribcage, makes the blonde moan in pain before banging a cross-hook on the nose and snapping McClarnon's head back. More single shots to the midsection follow and Liz can't stop moaning under the onslaught as Kym pours in with vicious shots and slowly but surely starts to take command of action. She keeps the blonde buried on the ropes until the bell again and signs off the round with another cross-hook on the nose which leaves McClarnon checking the integrity of her nostrils during the interval as she's truly looking out of depth after just six minutes of rather one-sided action.

Round 3

The first two rounds were completely dominated by the older Marsh, ending in the same fashion as the last horse race did-with the oldest horse in the heat winning by a wide margin. If Liz can’t find a way to counter Kym’s near perfect performance, she will suffer another humiliating defeat. Kym picks up right where she was just before the bell rudely interrupted her flawless performance last round. Liz tries to counter Kym’s flurry, but finds herself against the ropes clinching and running out of ideas to stop Kym from beating her like a drum. Kym is a little rough with Liz while they are tangled up, she wrestles Liz around a-bit, having her way. A few seconds later Liz’s mouthpiece spills from her lips when Kym takes advantage of the blonde in defense mode against the ropes, when she lands a mean uppercut that left Liz hanging onto Kym. The crowd goes ballistic sensing that the knockout they all paid to see is coming. Liz is an a bad spot when the ref breaks the two vixens apart, she is even more of a target than has been all night now. Kym presses her body up against Lifeless Liz’s and throws a violent right hook to the body and follows up with a punch that misses-but the damage was done as Liz drops her left arm holding it and grimacing in pain as the bell sounds, saving the washed up blonde. After three rounds, it’s all Kym Marsh by a landslide.

Round 4

Kym Marsh became a newly married woman earlier last month after walking down the aisle with Jamie Lomas, and her new status certainly seems to have given some confidence and a special glow about her. The soap star’s hubby is in attendance tonight, smiling wide, as his bride picks Liz apart. Liz’s corner urges the blonde to work her jab, considering she has a longer reach. Li does just that as the sounds to start the round. Kym was busy blowing kisses at her hubby, and didn’t get her guard back up fast enough to block or deflect the speedy jab. Liz stood tall and continued to find her range ad success after finally landing a meaning jab. Kym, is blocking the majority of these jabs, but is no hurry to try to try to dig back into Liz’s body, because the blonde has landed a few right hands, to go along with the surprising lengthy jab. Liz has somehow found a way to stop the bleeding and turn the momentum by keeping Kym at bay for the moment. Liz looks as if she drank from the fountain of youth this round, because her footwork, is exceptional, and she is throwing perfectly executed jabs. Kym, ducks a jab, and lands a stiff right into Liz’s ribs, but it didn’t slow her rally, because she anticipated Kym’s next move, and as Kym ducked in the same fashion as the last sequence, she leaned right into Liz’s left hand that connected flush into the exposed half of Kym’s unblocked face. Liz, pump faked a left jab, and was able to drop it, and quickly bring it up, allowing Li to land her best punch of the evening. The uppercut stung Kym, and she quickly stepped back, not realizing the ropes were as close upon her as they were. Kym’s boot landed awkwardly a bit on the bottom rope as it tangled the dark headed bride up. Liz took advantage as Kym slide towards the corner trying to escape the punishment that Liz was dishing out. Kym’s grit her mouthpiece and feel to her knees when the bell sounded. Liz landed a few body blows into Kym’s taut tummy, causing her to drop to her knees, trying to regain her breathe. After four, Kym is ahead 3 rounds to 1 on my card, and needs to stop Liz’s momentum as soon as possible. If Liz has one more round like that, she could make this an interesting fight.

Round 5

Kym’s husband looks concerned about Kym’s new shiner on her left eye, and pumps his fists, encouraging his beautiful wife, to put the blonde away. The bell rings, and the two beauty’s are in the center of the ring exchanging leather, Liz is snapping that impressive jab again, until Kym slips it, and works her way inside, landing a nice counter hook into Liz’s tummy. Liz immediately puts leather into Kym’s face as it ricocheted off Kym’s glove and caught a piece of her rosy cheek. The two girls have abandoned their strategies and are simply slugging it out in the center of the ring. Kym has the edge in power here and should overpower the blonde, in a pure slugfest. Kym is losing the war at the moment, for every powerful punch she lands, she receives two back from Liz. Kym’s legs look to be fading, as they tremble from Liz’s last hook the head that rocked Kym. Kym is staggering back, and stumbles face forward onto her knees and sprawls out onto her belly. Kym’s new husband is going ballistic as is her trainers, shouting, “ GET YOU’RE A$$ up Kym!” Kym just beats the count and shakes her head, confusing the ref as he starts to call the fight, thinking Kym, answered no to his question: “are you alright? As the referee raised his hand to waive it off, Kym, grabbed his hand, saying, “I was shaking my head, trying to get it together, I’m OKAY!” The confusion causes a delay, and the Liz McClarnon fans start to boo loudly in disappointment, accusing the referee of throwing the fight. The referee finally stops the clock as the ring fills with protesters, and thrown objects in anger. The ring is finally cleared and Kym takes her frustrations out on Liz after getting a second to rest or recover from the knockdown Liz gave her. Kym lands a three punch combination, that was easily her best combo of the night, as blood drips from Liz’s lips as she lie on the mat, looking up with woozy eyes. Propped up on her elbows, Liz’s bikini is wedged in between her cheeks as she makes little effort to try and rise. Kym thoroughly enjoys the sight of the mouth blonde lying on her belly, with blood spilling from her busted up and swollen lips, along with a black eyes that are full of the defeated look. Kym purses her lips out at the blonde beauty as she finally rises up to her knees, and falls to her side as they bell rings, saving the blonde from being counted out.

Round 6

McClarnon took some time to get back to her stool and is still affected by that triple-shot combo inducted knockdown at the start of the sixth. No such problems for Marsh though and the raven-haired actress received another mutual support by her husband in the stands who had to be calmed down by nearby members of the audience as he was visualizing what Kym should do with Liz next. It doesn't take a really big imagination to foresee Marsh's tactics as she's all guns blazing after her wounded opponent. McClarnon tries to remain in mid-distance but lacks speed and agility, her lips soon take more punishment as Kym steps up to her and works the single jabs, snaps the blonde's head back repeatedly and meets no resistance whatsoever. More blood pours from Liz's squashed lips and she just can't avoid all the leather thrown at her now, gets rooted to the spot with another overhand combo and Kym finds variety, whacks her in the ribs, further wobbles her and pierces her mitts with a left straight. Liz is a sobbing mess! Right hand on the temple, left on the mouth and McCLARNON CRASHES DOWN ON HER KNEES, tears of pain and humiliation fall down her cheeks and she's on all fours at six, launches herself upright and somehow beats the count at nine just as Marsh was ready to celebrate already! "You want more, slut?", Kym's anger is firmly placed towards her foe and it soon gets really messy as the raven-haired vixen pummels the hapless blonde to the ropes, works around her head with more jabs and does her utmost to rearrange her face in the proccess. McClarnon is reduced into a bloody mess as Marsh giver her mouth a real barrage and the arms drop to the side, get tangled up in the ropes and the blonde is out on her feet as ref charges in and grabs the brunette around the waist and drags her away from the battered singer. Kym doesn't want to stop, swings couple of more hooks just as Liz's arms get loose of the ropes and the blonde slides down on her backside with head slumped on the shoulders. Get some towels ready as McClarnon has been truly wrecked by the raven-haired nemesis! TKO R6 Kym Marsh!!!

Post Fight

The winner finally accepts the fact that Liz is down and out and the Ascot crowd goes ballistic having witnessed a real beatdown in the ring with Marsh controlling the proceedings for most of the fight. McClarnon somewhat surprisingly floored her in the fifth but that only unleashed the real anger from the actress who bashed her blonde rival senseless thereafter. Liz's record falls to 1-6 and she's done herself no favors by the brutal ending of the fight. She's still very much hittable and Kym Marsh exposed her badly and scored a deserved victory.

It's all smiles and hugs for Kym and her husband who clearly enjoy each other's presence in the middle of the ring just as the battered blonde is helped out of the arena. Visibly worried Jenny Frost, McClarnon's Atomic Kitten bandmate is seen making her way through the crowd and she checks up on Liz who has some trouble with realizing what exactly happened just few minutes ago. If the Kittens are looking for some success, they'll have to rely on Frost now, but she's still got some time to prepare for her clash with Jessica Taylor as the next bout on the agenda is Chelsee Healey's second part of the Triple Crown challenge with Louisa Lytton being called to the ring already. Healey was mighty impressive against Roxanne Pallett earlier on the night and Kym Marsh raised some stakes with her brutal punchout of Liz McClarnon, but the Ascot crowd is given a real showpiece with so much bad temper floating around the arena.

Final result: Kym Marsh def. Liz McClarnon TKO6.
