It was a huge boost for the Welsh tourism industry this year as it had been selected as the site for the inaugural Ryder Cup Invitational event between Beever's Babes US and Lookout! Boxing – as well as their European counterparts, Beever's Babes and Lookout! Atlantic. It was a momentous event here in Millenium Stadium, which was absolutely filled to its capacity of 74, 500 and potentially more in this joint production between the FCBA and BBU, involving fighters from both. International fans from across the world had arrived to witness this event and given the celebrities involved, it was certain that none of them would leave disappointed. Today, they were getting to be part of and participate in what is believed to be the first joint FCBA-BBU event involving multiple stables from both leagues in one PPV.

Millenium Stadium was the home of the Welsh national rugby union team and as such, frequently hosted rugby and football (soccer) matches. While it was originally built to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup, it has since hosted a number of other events such as major musical concerts from acts such as U2, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Oasis, Paul McCartney and a Tsunami aid concert, which featured Eric Clapton among others. Television shows such as Dr. Who have been filmed on location here, as well as other sports such as motorsports, Monster Jam, Grand Prix events, indoor cricket and even boxing – though never boxing quite like this. It definitely appeared to be a record crowd here tonight and seems like it would eclipse previous attendance records by a wide margin.

The crowds outside positively swarmed the buses bringing in the numerous celebrities involved, many of whom were especially big here in Europe. While international audiences were more than familiar with celebrities like Nina Dobrev (originally from Bulgaria), Yvonne Strahovski (Polish-Australian origins), Rihanna, Elisha Cuthbert, Amber Heard or even Minka Kelly, the real crowds were busy mobbing European stars, actresses and models such as Michelle Keegan, Doutzen Kroes, Jennifer Ellison, Gemma Merna, Emilia Clarke or Jenna Louise Coleman, who was positively swarmed as the upcoming companion for the upcoming series of Dr. Who.

It took quite some time for interviews, autographs, pictures and numerous interactions with the fans to be completed, but at some point, the celebrities and fighters on both of the respective rosters were whisked back to the locker rooms to prepare for the upcoming matches. It was definitely a thrilling event ahead as this was a unique spin on a stable war between the two with the random match-ups and the international stakes involving all four stables between the two. Lookout! Boxing and Beever's Babes were both on relatively good terms and had completed a major trade earlier this year, primarily involving Nina Dobrev and Miley Cyrus (who would both be featured on this card, though not competing). One certainly hoped that they would remain on good terms after this event was completed. In order to help maintain that, the fighters were mainly kept in their own respective locker rooms after some contentious encounters in the days leading up to the event such as between Gemma Merna and Emilia Clarke, models Jennifer Ellison and Doutzen Kroes, Lisa Maffia and Alice Eve or Nina Dobrev and Michelle Keegan perhaps the most difficult to keep apart.

Although they were able to get together for a brunch prior to the event, which went smoothly for the most part. Partially a reunion for some stars like Brenda Song, Nina Dobrev, Miley Cyrus and other members of Lookout! Boxing and Beever's Babes, who all had worked together in the past before trades sent them on to successful careers with the opposing stable. Security and management for both stables appeared to be prepared today though as they intervened whenever trash-talk appeared to be ready to get out of hand or interactions might turn physical rather than verbal. However, these were far and few between as the stars of each stable appeared to get along and was by all accounts, a good time.

Eventually though, it was time to prepare for the match. Outside, the announcer was preparing the crowd outside as the event was ready to start. As they say in boxing, let's get ready to rumble!
