Jennifer Metcalfe (Beever's Babes) vs Teresa Palmer (Lookout! Atlantic)

Before: It's another gorgeous blonde-brunette tilt here at bantam between these two rising stars in the division. Jennifer has a winning record here in the BBU and has been an excellent brunette powerhouse thus far. Teresa is a relatively new addition to the BBU, but is undefeated so far and is coming off an excellent win over Elizabeth Tan. Jennifer is eager to put a stop to the winning streak before it can get any further, while Palmer – having tasted success – definitely wants more of it. Ring observers predict a great contest between the two and both fighters do the same, although with completely different outcomes. The two of them chest up a bit during the pre-fight, though it's otherwise trouble-free with the usual trash-talk firing them up in their respective corners.

Palmer coming out in a bright yellow bikini with white gloves, blonde hair in a fighting ponytail; Jennifer in a dark blue bikini with matching gloves, brunette hair loose around her face.

R1: Palmer comes out bright-eyed and eager, determined to keep the winning streak going. Teresa very aggressive, battering away with rights and lefts to try to stuff in some shots to the body, but Metcalfe methodically moving around the ring, showing off her footwork to avoid really taking much damage. Jennifer responding well from the pressure from Palmer, tagging Teresa in the face with some hooks and jabs that has the blonde startled. Palmer remains focused throughout but Metcalfe using her experience to vex Palmer and push her around this first round to take the round close.

R2: Undaunted by the previous round, Palmer comes out this round swinging as well, targeting Metcalfe's ribcage and torso, pressuring her foe backwards towards the ropes. Jennifer, however, won't be bullied backwards as she keeps up the jab, driving her glove towards Teresa's face and shoulders, forcing her to cover up and then dipping her attack down low to knock the wind out of Palmer a bit. Palmer coming forward with some hooks of her own towards Jennifer's head to keep her foe from getting in control, but Metcalfe's continuous assault and focus on Palmer's body has her breathing hard, taking the round from her again with her experience.

R3: Palmer catches her breathe in the corner, coming out right away to charge across the ring and try to catch her opponent against the ropes. Metcalfe doesn't allow herself to get trapped against the ropes, countering with some hard-hitting punches that streak out towards Teresa's tummy and torso. Leather bouncing off of Palmer's ribcage as Palmer is groaning again, but still fighting back with some counter jabs when she's not defending, managing to bury her gloves into Metcalfe's midsection to double her over. Jennifer using Palmer's aggression against her, sidestepping and catching her opponent off guard with a few shots to the face and body that allow Jennifer to take another round, leaving Palmer to head back to her corner in dissatisfaction.

R4: Palmer's corner tells her not to change anything, to remain active in order to achieve success. Palmer's determination shines through as she comes out charging again once the bell rings, hammering away with rights and lefts to try to connect with Jennifer's face or torso. Metcalfe moving to the side, sidestepping and weaving away from Palmer's oncoming rush, but Palmer ready for it this time. Stepping with her, Palmer delivers a clouting right hand to Jennifer's cheek and a follow-up right to her foe's temples sends Metcalfe crashing to all fours. Crashing face-first after her initial attempt to rise, but manages to beat the count, although stunned. Palmer is thrilled that her aggressive tactics paid off here and follows her corner's advice, not letting up for a second once Jennifer does rise. Teresa targets her opponent's head and shoulders, peppering her with straight rights and lefts, jabs coming swinging off of her hips to just dig deep into brunette tummy and torso. Jennifer displays some good strategy still, covering up and clinching while she can, pushing Palmer backwards and is able to survive the rest of the round. However, Palmer dominates with further jabbing combos that have Metcalfe wobbly-butt at the bell.

R5: Jennifer is clearly hurt coming out for the following round and is unable to use either her speed or experience to escape from trouble at the current time. Palmer comes pouncing out from her corner, using her own swiftness and determination to dictate the pace, just whacking away with loud leather crashing into Metcalfe's ribcage and body, ocassionally hooking her across her chest as well. Metcalfe knows she needs to get aggressive here to reverse the current trend of Palmer domination, charging forward to flick out some jabs towards Teresa's face. However, Palmer uses her own foe's eagerness against her like she was doing earlier to her, picking her opponent up with a tidy uppercut that sends Jennifer sprawling to her side . Metcalfe shakes her head, managing to beat the count and rise to her feet, but once she does, Palmer bodies up against Jennifer and just stacks her up against the ropes. Jennifer is blinking in hurt, trying to clinch but a few stuffing rights to her tummy prevents that from occurring. Palmer pursues Jennifer around the ropes as Teresa keeps battering away with slick jabs and pouring on with the hooks into Metcalfe's body. As Jennifer doubles over, Palmer hits her with another clipping uppercut and another clean uppercut has Metcalfe just sagging into the ropes. The ref steps in to stop the match and award the match to Teresa Palmer via KO5!

AFTER: The crowd is cheering after the match, with another fantastic bantam battle here in this Ryder Cup Invitational match. Metcalfe is clutching her head and ribs in the corner, watching Teresa speak to the press as she keeps her undefeated winning streak intact. It's an impressive display by the newcomer, bringing her record to 3-0 thus far in the BBU. Palmer is beaming as she addresses those ringside: “And that record is only to keep going. Metcalfe was a fantastic match and really had me vexed for those first few rounds, but once I've got it going, I'm going to shut them down! You hear that – girls are going to get SHUT down!” Palmer very confident right now and right now, with her record, no reason not to be. Metcalfe glaring at her from her stool as she wants revenge and no doubt there are a number of other fighters who will be eager to put a stop to this streak here shortly.
