Kara hasn’t fought since her title fight defeat, and Penny will be looking to extend her unbeaten record.

The girls are quickly at it with each other, swapping solid punches in the centre of the ring, but Kara’s coming second in that, stepping back as Penny hits her with two solid right hooks, and already Kara is shaken. She’s trying to clinch, but Penny’s just so quick on her feet it doesn’t happen, and she drills a right cross through Kara’s guard, cracking it onto her jaw, and flattening her. A woozy Kara gets up at 7, but her legs are really shaky, and she’s soon getting used up some more, with Penny doing her to the body, then she gives her a smack with the left, another with the right, and Kara’s down again, not looking great as she gets up at 8, and she just can’t stop Penny hitting her, stuck in her corner and hammered in the closing seconds.

Round 2

Kara just doesn’t look like she wants much more of the action here, and she doesn’t really move from her corner, as Penny simply assaults her, slamming punches into her face, sliding to the canvas, and counted out – it was hard to see which punch finished her off, she took so many.

Penny Higgs knocked Kara Tointon out in round 2.

Penny is savage, brutal, and well – good!

And she wants some respect from Kara, hauling her up, then taking her for a slow walk of shame, she then pushes the Brit to her knees and points down. Kara knows what Penny wants her to do, and she does it, just kisses the Australian’s feet until she’s bored with the ritual, posing for photographers with her foot on Kara’s back as the girl lays prone on the canvas.
