BEFORE: "I always thought Vandervoort would be my debut fight," Borth says, smiling. "I can understand why she's reluctant or scared or whatever. She's the iconic blue-eyed blonde right now; I'm the prototype doe-eyed brunette in her size...that's a high-stakes fight whenever it happens. I'm happy with Annalynne though: she's super sexy; more aggressive and faster than Laura...beating girls like this will force Laura's hand eventually. And then I'll have her."

Dying moments, Michelle flurries hot-crossing lefts and rights against Annalynne's streamlined breasts...blonde girl lathered into open-mouthed outrage as ref enforces bell.

R2: Borth more aggressive - stepping in her jab to Annalynne's chest; crossing righty-to-chin before McCord can form up...blonde girl engaged in furious toe-to-toe firefighting from the bell. Blistering back and forth sees girls scrubbing each other raw - pretty faces receiving drubbing punches as fight traverses the ring. McCord pressed hard along the aprons - her back to ropes, but she's catching Borth vicious left hooks to belly; pasting face in simultaneous side to side scrubbings with eager brunette. Down the stretch, Borth unleashes a trio of withering, batting hooks ribs/ribs/chin...head swivel Annalynne sees her drift back into ropes in stupor, then drop to all fours. Brave blonde girl beats the count, but she's hurt this time, eyes glassy, legs shaky...Michelle presses hard after the 8; gets back to the body via hook/hook/hook, then - with Annalynne sitting shabby in the ropes - a single tight, clipping right hand scrapes her face, dropping her to all fours at bell. Borth grinning happily, skipping away from curly-headed rubble at her feet...upbeat brunette jogs to corner like a little champ through 2.

R3: Annalynne looking bruised, reluctant to engage...her marvelous legs move her lithely about the ring, casting Borth in the role of relentless stalker. Michelle up to the task - her legs tracking Annalynne down, putting Borth in position to jab stiff to chest, then toss combos...McCord lifting her arms to block, scampering away from hard punches with an anxious expression. Bell to bell pursuit for Borth: she's the clear aggressor as Annalynne takes a heat to get herself together.

R4: McCord arguably with the best legs in the bantam division but she can't shake Borth: Michelle cutting off the ring, jabbing Annalynne into defensive fronts, then viciously digging at slender ribs, taut waistline. Grim, satisfying work for Borth as she chops-blonde for 2 minutes, but down the stretch - overconfident brunette gets beaten to hooks and crosses - Borth's legs giving a shimmy as Annalynne takes over. Blonde eyes absolutely heartless as she's got ground to make up: Borth crosses arms with right hand at left temple/left across her breasts, stooping forward as vindictive blonde girl lathers away. Lashing, whip-limbed stuff from Annalynne...Borth stumbling forward hurt, but durable...Michelle sponges it up, keeps her feet, learns a valuable lesson about Annalynne's quickness in the fourth!

R5: McCord boxing like a champ early - legging clockwise; pumping poke...brunette bobbing and weaving while trying to close distance. Minute mark on: Michelle stooping to jab tummy; feinting to wrong-foot Annalynne; countering the McCord jab via stout right hands over Annalynne's left...timing and persistence eventually take the initiative from the 90120 show-stopper. Final minute - Borth working Annalynne's so-tight abs...McCord grumpy behind her mitts in high-earmuff, stooping forward, suffering as Michelle thumps away brisk, snappy lefts and rights.

R6: Disaster for Michelle Borth: Annalynne McCord goes into over-drive, blowing the doors off a prototype doe-eyed beauty. Annalynne fighting like a woman possessed - curls in her eyes, teeth bared as she steps-to and lets her hands go...Borth showered with punches - brunette crouching forward with back of right hand at forehead/left across her breasts as blonde fists bat and slash at her. Vicious, sustained lather culminates in first minute knockdown when swiping right hands across the kidneys shut off power to Michelle's legs. Sniveling 8 for Borth as she's pluckily up, but there's no respite: whippet-fit Annalynne back on with a vengeance, lashing Borth along the ropes with the same insane volume and intensity. Second minute knockdown sees Borth take a stunned seat in her own corner -doe-eyes blinking in wonder...she's up again, knees knocking as ref gives her 8. Third minute just more of the same - lovely Michelle whipped and battered about the ring...brunette unable to answer, now stumbling in free fall as fists cut across her ribs; dig at her abs; pound upside her head. A THIRD knockdown late as walloping McCord right hands pummel Michelle along ropes...brunette in tears, mouse bulging visibly under left eye...she's trembling from the ass-kicking of her lifetime, courtesy one SEETHING Annalynne McCord!

R7: Borth with the heart to hook at McCord's midsection early, but blonde girl still blazing away...spitting jabs and slashing crosses soon punch at Michelle's face, putting her wobbly butt at the half-way point. From there, a seething Annalynne lathers her brunette around the ring as Borth covers up...Michelle on the verge of tears, just trying to survive as McCord's pitchin' from her pockets! Bell: Annalynne all teeth bared/nostrils flaring - ref has to body her back or she'd STILL be getting off!

R8: Borth continuing to hook the breadbasket - keeping her right hand tight to cheek as she's pumping in left hands to sleek blonde body. Starting to work...Annalynne's energy dips - she's standing more flat footed, starting to mouthbreath. Girls bumping shoulders inside for the first time - rubbing pates...fight taking on more of a hard-slog air as Michelle crowds close, gets her head on Annalynne's chest, then licks tidy left/rights to gut. Bell: Michelle stabilizing, dictating by the end: Annalynne mouthbreathing, eyes wincing with fatigue and body-ache as she wanders to corner hands on hips.

R9: Hard yards now - both girls frazzled, worn - they're laying in mouth-on-shoulder more; nudging and bumping left shoulders/extended left elbows; punching less frequently, but still with full commitment - really getting their backs and hips into juicy rips. Fighters taking turns touching at the other to measure - ripping her to body - the other girl gasping, mouth open/eyes winced shut...it's grim two-way work. Bell: both girls in tears from exertion/fatigue...McCord's narrowly outworked Borth for points.

R10: Girls just laying in cheek to cheek, mindlessly plowing gut - numb legs trying to drive forward through the stubborn other. Lots of touching and nudging, but no clinching...girls just in there to work - both mindless from hurt at this point - each willing herself to be last woman standing. Fight meanders around as girls push on each other, licking tummy, stroking ribs, clipping the odd uppercut to chin in tight...Borth gradually works McCord to ropes, pinning her down with left shoulder in tits. Michelle able to retain top-position, steadily punishing Annalynne into near defenceless stupor...blonde girl sagging in ropes, mouth open, hands loose around her head as brunette methodically applies rights and lefts to bell. Comes back UD10 heartbreakingly close...Michelle Borth!

AFTER: Both girls weeping in the aftermath - McCord in unconsolable misery; Borth in relief and triumph. "I knew Annalynne would come to fight," a busted-lumpy Michelle admits in postfight, "but I never DREAMED she'd bring THAT much fight. That was life and death all the way. I blame myself a little bit...dropped her 3 times in the first couple of rounds, and I WAS thinking 'I got this'...but she really rallied like a champ. What a great fight for me, and as for Laura - that's a real shot across her bow I'd say. I'll just have to keep at her - if I can't get her in the ring, I'll take down Accola, Kelly Carlson - pretty, Vandervoort-class blondes...keep punching those tickets and there's no way Laura can avoid me forever. 2013's gonna be fun!"
