BEFORE: Gena's not impressed by fighter-polls (ie: polls of licensed FCBA fighters) that favour Sobieski by as much as 2 to 1. "Fighter polls are garbage," Gena scoffs in prefight. "Fighters deliberately say I'm going to lose, hoping I'll get discouraged by the polls: keep dreaming girls! I'm not ready to roll over and take beatings like a Cat Bell or Charlize Theron. I'm still arguably the best fighter in the sport, and any 'poll' that doesn't recognize that is full of crap!"

Leelee sharing Gena's distrust of the always curious fighter-poll. "You can't get much more partisan than a fighter," LeeLee smiles. "Gena's not popular, and I think the polling reflects that rather than accurately projecting the results of this fight. Having said that, the time is definitely right for me to step-to Gena Lee and prove I'm better. She might not want to admit it, but she's a measuring stick now - she's a target. She's my next step, and I'm determined to take her."

R1: Reckless, workmanlike brawling...girls just stepping into range and getting off - robust, clubbing lefts and rights belting away at rival heads/torsos. Down the stretch, Gena separates herself with a pair of spanking left hooks across LeeLee's tummy: Sobieski grimaces, ties up around Gena's head and shoulders, leaving Gena's hands free underneath as LeeLee backs into ropes. Pumping left/rights pound at belly, thighs and trunks in the grasp - LeeLee squeezing her eyes shut tight; face grimacing in agony as Gena bangs away for points. Warning for Gena on her stool during break...Nolin quick to answer with: "She was pushing my head down, chief - her fault I was low. Sorry!"

R2: Gena quickly in charge behind her jab: LeeLee forming sturdy earmuff midring. Nolin assuming forward aspect - right (back) heel up off canvas; nice wide stance as she pumps the poke...Gena steering her girl, lining her up, then POUNDING in straight rights between LeeLee's mitts. Sobieski rocked - legs passing stress-tests as Gena scores with authority. LeeLee hurt, tying up around Gena's head/shoulders...Nolin walks Sobieski into ropes, crowding in the grasp, working hard underneath. Gena cleaning up belly/trunks/thighs via methodical, pumping left/rights...LeeLee eyes-shut, lips curled off her teeth - she's tying up, but not impeding Gena as Nolin pounds away for points to bell. More warnings for Nolin, but she's barking back: "Keep her off my head!"

R3: LeeLee a little groggy, lumping up...she's facing into Gena's stiff jab, reacting late as Nolin pokes for initiative, driving LeeLee to aprons. Nolin putting together systematic sequences off the jab: strapping in the thumping right to belly; hooking the waist; right clubbed across LeeLee's jugs; left cashing in her chin...then Gena resets behind the jab, forcing LeeLee into grumpy earmuff. Sobieski frowning, getting slugged back into ropes...she's disorganized, fretting...Nolin's hard body shots softening LeeLee, loosening her guard...allowing Gena to bash away up top.

R4: LeeLee trading midring, spraying her shots; getting tagged rugged in exchange. Sobieski wobbling early, but competing, trying to throw back, but she's out of synch...Gena eyes-focussed, coming forward, getting into LeeLee's legs as Sobieski begins to reel away in confusion. Swinging right to chin drops Sobieski to buns-and-elbows...she's a battered vixen, catching hard shots and looking confused. Sobieski up stubborn and competitive for her 8, then Gena wades in. LeeLee tying up around head/shoulders while laying back in ropes...Gena's hands are free downstairs and she THRASHES away to glory - pounding belly/thighs/trunks, pushing her weight forward to keep LeeLee pinned. Sobieski stricken - eyes shut tight, lips curled off teeth...she's paralyzed by the body-beating - much of it low...Gena making it look like she can't help it because of LeeLee's awkward holding up high.

R5: Gena marching on LeeLee, walking her down like a champ, but at minute mark, Sobieski turns everything around with a drilling right hand clean to Gena's chin! Nolin stepping in fence post holes, then tying up around Sobieski's elbows...hurtin' Gena gets ref's break, then walks away to recover her legs. LeeLee stalking, eyes hard as she jabs for range, then leans into strapping right hands up top. Nolin stumbling away, luring LeeLee close, then tying her up...crafty tactical clinches chew up the clock/prevent LeeLee from really piling on.

R6: Return to the workmanlike, trudging step-and-slug work of the first round as girls grimly attempt to renegotiate all terms. Both women pitching and catching in volume...fists crashing off stunned faces, spanking off ribs and tummies - when one girl falters, the other walks her down. All even until late - Gena reaches in under LeeLee's arms to drive her ropeside; clever little headbutt under LeeLee's left eye stuns her...she groans, tying up around Gena's head and shoulders and once again, Nolin mines tummy/trunks/thighs for quit. Sobieski grimacing - getting pressed against ropes and punished...ref finally pulls Gena away after a series of lefts and rights pumps savagely at LeeLee's trunks...bell sounds as Sobieski slumps gasping in ropes; ref gives Gena the finger-waggling of a lifetime as Nolin purses her lips in contempt.

R7: Gena mindful of her own energy-output - she doesn't want to gas out down the stretch against the younger vixen. Stiff jab; short right hand - then Gena ties up, walking Sobieski into ropes for ref's break. Systematic punch-'n'-clutch...Sobieski grumpy, sleepy in the grasp...battered vixen getting swamped and bogged down as Gena works her for grabby points through 7.

R8: Healthy two-way slugging normally a good strategy for younger LeeLee, but she's much the more worn down fighter at this point...Gena happy to trade with her opponent operating at an energy deficit. Fun, rangy slugging - girls just ranging-in, then getting off brawny - clouting each other about the heads-and-shoulders; strapping each other roundhouse body shots. Nolin outworking LeeLee - often hitting her hard enough to punch Sobieski out of orbit...Gena often walking LeeLee down, establishing herself as aggressor in a free-swinging 8th.

R9: Gena attempts to push the pace, but LeeLee's young legs answer the call...workmanlike slugging sees Sobieski club and clout her way forward as Gena meets stiff resistance. Grim, methodical work - girls just twisting into heavy lefts and rights, taking whatever connects in order to put thump on target in exchange. LeeLee systematically getting the better of Gena...Nolin beaten to ropes late, drawing Sobieski into grunting clinches to run the clock.

R10: Stiffest jab of the fight for Gena dislodges LeeLee's mouthpiece early: follow on right hands pound Sobieski's head back, buckling her knees and filling her eyes with disappointment as Gena marches forward. LeeLee a ragged, stubborn beauty off the apron, laying back into ropes as Gena's jab sorts out jugs/punches at mouth...it's Gena picking hurtin' LeeLee apart, breaking her down. Heavy right hands slam onto LeeLee, shaking her in the pocket, then Gena ties up, puts her body on Sobieski, making her take weight to ref's break. Nolin smart to the bell - getting off strong, then tying up to smother Sobieski's receipts. LeeLee struggling beneath her oppressor, but at the bell, there's no doubt. Gena cackling, pushing up off her foe with a quick kiss upside the head...comes back UD10 wide Gena Lee Nolin.

After: Tough night in the office for lovely LeeLee: Gena getting into Sobieski's trunks all night long - boxing smart, hitting hard...veteran racks up impressive metrics with 8 rounds to 2 margin, and a knockdown in the 4th. "Lioness still has all her teeth," Gena chuckles in postfight, looking smug and pleased with herself. "You guys can't write off Gena Lee Nolin. Can't be done! I'm too good, too strong, too smart for these kids. LeeLee came in all 'I'm gonna shark me up some Gena'...but look at her now! That's one ass-kicked blonde girl over there, and I got plenty left in the tank for the next chick who gets brave!"
