BEFORE: Kelly trimming down to lightweight again for this tilt, but she's still a big, strapping girl at the weight...Maria's not concerned. "She's a little more zoftig than a Laura Vandervoort," Menounos grins, still dropping Laura's name at every opportunity, "but whatever...I've been thrashing girls of all shapes and sizes. If they're bigger, it just means I've got to pitch 'em extra punches, right? No problem!"

Brook oozing big-girl confidence in prefight: "It'll take one good hit, I reckon," Kelly breezes in rebuttal. "Perhaps 2 - one to shake her; one to finish her...but in any event, anything I do will hurt her. She can't prevail: I've far too much power for a girl like this. Munching on Laura Vandervoort doesn't prepare you to fight a Kelly Brook."

R1: Kelly with hands at hips, looking to step in and hit Maria hard to torso or flank: Menounos taking the time to jab at Kelly's tits first, then whack her a wide right to left-side lats, finishing up hook-in-paunch. Menounos whirling punches in bunches, overwhelming Kelly with volume, backing her up...Brook frowning, confused at the Menounos ferocity. Midway through - Kelly fighting off the apron...she absorbs a thumping right to flank; left to jugs; shocking right to chin - swiveling her head, buckling her knees, and leaving her destitute. Job of work, Maria: she pushes Kelly into ropes with hands at Brook's armpits, then goes to town...whirling barrage battering Kelly senseless as Britain lays back on ropes in wonder. Maria laying on the leather to bell: Kelly sputtering, battered about head/shoulders/jugs/ribs...Menounos just a wiry little slugging machine, lighting Kelly up until ref steps in to enforce the break.

R2: Maria busily at Brook once again - Menounos getting that angle over Kelly's left shoulder so right hands can slam clean to left-side lats. Maria's left hand cleaning up Kelly's jugs with jabs and hooks...Brook frowning, taking a licking...she's backing up in confusion, trying to jab Maria's chest/fit her for right hands, but whirling Greek punches keep pre-empting British intentions. Kelly lathered to ropes once again, then tenderized...voluptuous Brook forced into grumpy earmuff looks, or pummeled when she reaches in with her left to spread Maria out. Menounos in strong stance - knock-jabbing face and tits; sweeping the palm-down right wide to ribs; cleaning up hooks in Brook's belly...second straight shutout leaves Kelly on the verge of tears and DOWN SHE GOES! Kelly easing herself to one knee seconds before the bell - sending a grinning Maria jogging away in high spirits.

R3: Workmanlike Maria jabbing Kelly's tits; backing Brook to ropes; lashing her wide-righty to left-side lats; dipping to hook up into breadbasket. Whirlwind stuff has Kelly pouting and frowning - forming earmuff fronts, or trying to push Maria off. Down the stretch, Brook finally answers meaningful punches - hooking Maria in her tummy; bashing her right hands on left shoulder...still Menounos in charge, outworking Kelly at the apron for points.

R4: Better start for Kelly as she gets the howitzer jab thumpin': Maria pounded on her upperchest, punched onto her back (right) foot as Brook takes over. Kelly frowning, resolute...jabs prep the way for storming right hands that force Maria into rigid earmuff fronts. Even when blocking the blows, Menounos is slugged off-line...Kelly punching her girl around the ring, walking her down, then thumping her some more in a come-back fourth for Brook.

R5: Maria whirling away from her preferred angle - working inside and out of Kelly's left arm. Brook calm and standing strong in pocket - jabbing Maria's body/tits...Menounos jumping out in terms of volume, but Kelly managing her, keeping her in position. All pays off midway through as a single booming Brook right lands to chin, putting Maria wobbly-butt...dangerous minute passes as Menounos staggers into ropes, trying to get her legs together while Kelly squares away to punish. Maria able to pull out of her nose dive late - burying scooping right hands in Kelly's paunch, then tying her up...Brook bogged down, can't finish as Maria makes it to bell and trembling legs.

R6: No-nonsense Maria just steppin' to her girl, working the angle off Kelly's left shoulder: right hands whack palm-down into leftside lats; left hands jab jug; left hands hook body/chin as Maria sets a whirling pace. Kelly lathered to ropes again: she's crabby, frustrated - and increasingly ass-kicked as Maria's able to romp bell to bell. Menounos jumping away all grins and dimples...fun-loving brunette piling up minutes and points through 6.

R7: Maria getting the jump again, pelting away on Kelly, driving her back. Brook wearing down, mouthbreathing...Maria setting a fearsome pace - dipping and twisting her torso side to side into lashing lefts and rights - each punch just taking out another chunk of Kelly's reserves. Brook's legs giving way midway through, slumping her in ropes with a heartbreaking "Uhhhh..." face, but down the stretch, she's able to hook Maria stout to chin, putting Menounos onto her left foot and nearly knocking her over. Maria stunned, tying up...Kelly exhausted, accepting the clinch as girls tummy-up at bell.

R8: Kelly grimacing, anticipating a right hand in her left-side lats...she cringes down with her left arm to protect and eats a jamming right hand to jaw instead! Maria pouring her heart and soul into the punch - back (right) foot skipping happily off canvas...Kelly absorbs the wallop, stumbles to her right...she's wobbly butt! Maria hopping-in whirling hooks, batting Kelly to ropes...Brook groaning, crossing wrists at her face as she lays back on ropes, accepting her fate. Too much Maria! Menounos pinning her ears back, lathering away to British flanks...Kelly rolls to her left, cowering against ropes as mitts beat at her flesh - ref jumps in as Brook's unresponsive. TKO8 in hard-working fashion, Maria Menounos!

AFter: Menounos beaming...shocked a time or two by Kelly's thudding weight of shot, but overall delivering a withering butt-kicking to the proud briton. "I just wasn't scared of her thump," Maria shrugs perkily in postfight. "She was like 'I'm too big', and I was all 'here - have another bodyshot you cow' - you know? I work girls to death - don't care how big they are: you get in with me, you better have done your roadwork, 'cause I'm all action baby!"
