Amelia is tired of the criticism she’s received from fellow Geordie Cheryl, and is please to have the chance to meet the older singer in the ring to set the record straight. For her part, Cheryl wants to give the unbeaten teenager a good beating, and make her show some respect.

Amelia takes to the ring first, the pink haired teenager looking good in her black one piece outfit, but she’s very much second in the wow stakes to Cheryl, who’s wearing a scarlet basque and knickers set which leaves nothing to the imagination.

Round 1

The girls are a little slow to get moving here, and maybe Amelia’s a little overawed – this is a short but high profile card, and she is hardly a household name just yet! Cheryl seems a little preoccupied, and Amelia tests her out after a little sparring, finding that she can hit the older girl without too much trouble, and she’s poking some good punches past Cole’s gloves and into her face. Cheryl counters, but her punches have no snap to them, and the teenager shrugs them off, and lands her own harder shots to Cheryl’s pretty face, which looks a little pink at the bell.

Round 2

Amelia’s really confident, goes for a big shot early, but that’s youth for you, and she misses, then gets caught by Cheryl when she’s off balance, and she almost goes to the floor as she stumbles to the ropes away from the older singer. Cheryl starts to show Amelia a few moves now, and she’s skipping around the teenager, giving her plenty of leather to eat here, with those red gloves bouncing off Amelia’s puzzled young face, the kid uncertain of herself at this stage. Cheryl starts to really dominate the fight with her speed, but she comes in close once too often in the closing stages, and Amelia hurts her with a right hook, leaving Cheryl looking dazed at the bell.

Round 3

Cheryl moves well again at the start of this round, but Amelia takes the speed out of her legs when she wades through Cheryl’s jabs to give the brunette a two fisted hammering, her gloves smacking into either side of Cole’s face, and down she goes, a left hook the last punch to land, but any of five shots could have decked her. Cheryl gets slowly to her feet at 7, and she gets nailed by another left hook to the mouth, and she’s having to cover up as Amelia bangs her around in there, then holds and clinches. The referee parts the girls, and it’s clear to see the damage Amelia is causing, as Cheryl is cut to the left cheek, but she fights on, even though Amelia’s focusing on that damage, and hitting her there.

Round 4

Amelia doesn’t make any mistakes this time like she did in round 2, and she’s taking her time now, knows she’s got Cheryl on the rack, but making sure she’s softened her up before going for the big punches. Cheryl’s defending well, trying her best to counter, but Amelia’s young and powerful, and she’s working the older girl to the body inside, just wearing her down, taking the last of any fight out of her as she pushes and pummels the Geordie beauty around the ring. There’s very little time in this round, but now Amelia switches her attack, punches an almost unprotected face, and she’s cut Cheryl again – this time she’s opened one up on the girl’s right eyebrow, and this is horrid for Cheryl now as her face is streaked with blood at the bell.

Round 5

The doctors are concerned, but let the fight continue, but surely Cheryl can’t go on? She’s not moving too much now, and Amelia reacts to a baying crowd by unloading on the older girl straight away, slamming punches into that badly damaged face of hers, and Cheryl’s down again, letting the referee count her out as she lays on her back, arms above her head.

Result: Amelia Lily Oliver knocked Cheryl Cole out in round 5.

Amelia’s getting better, stronger, and more confident. She’s very keen to fight Emma Bunton, but can she doe the business against the Spice Girl?
