Alex is putting a good set of results together, the 30 year old model wanting a big fight. Last time the girls met, Suranne outpointed her, but the 33 year old actress has had a few bad defeats lately, and needs to beat Alex.

Suranne isn’t packing as much boob power as she used to, ands she’s looking svelte in her black bikini, but Alex has the edge on her in the looks department, and the model’s in a red bikini tonight, and she’s hell bent on revenge.

Thanks Georgie – now comes the action:

Round 1

What’s Alex’s game here? She’s not looking keen as I usually see her at the moment, and she’s letting Suranne take the fight to her, and Suranne’s moving well – she’ll exploit any weakness in Alex. Still the blonde girl’s backing off, not showing any form at all at the moment, letting Suranne boss the fight, and she’s hitting Alex quite neatly, not using a lot of power, but landing anyway, and scoring points. I can’t believe Alex Curran – a good win here will take her close to a title shot, and she’s looking like she doesn’t care!

Round 2

Suranne looks really solid again and she’s giving Alex a few harder punches now, as well, and she’s making Alex move backwards, sideways, just away from her as she lands some sound jabs to Curran’s face. Suranne’s putting a lot of effort into this fight, but she’s not really hurting Alex, and at last the model’s responding, and she’s banged Jones backwards there, just laid into her with a left and a right, and that’s a good punch she landed to Suranne’s tummy, and she’s hurt her there, and again! Oh Suranne’s looking vulnerable now, and Alex got her again then, and Suranne’s covering her face with her gloves – tough times there for her!

Round 3

Now Alex is looking like a good fighter, and she’s taking Suranne on in this round, and that’s a good left hook! She hurt Suranne with that one, and she’s starting to push the older girl backwards – aww, that’s smacked Jones right in the mouth! She’s in trouble now! Alex has her pinned to the ropes, and she’s unloading, and Suranne’s trying to hold, but Alex is pushing her away, and that’s a great right from Alex – Jones is down! She’s up again at 6, but I don’t think she’s ready – but Alex stands back! Surely she should be pressing on, but she’s letting Suranne recovers, and the round’s coming to an end in rather slow fashion.

Round 4

Alex looks almost casual as she ambles out of her corner, and she just sends out a few tired looking jabs, then waits for Suranne to fight back. I don’t think Jones can believe her luck! She’s being given time to recover, and she’s taking it, and hitting Curran into the bargain, focussing on the blonde’s body, and doing what she can to take the wind out of her sails. Still Alex does little in terms of offence, just lets Suranne build up points, defending okay, but I’m disappointed in Alex again now, can’t work out what she’s doing!

Round 5

And Suranne’s taking Alex on! She’s just unloading on the blonde model, both gloves landing in turn in the girl’s face – but Alex counter punches, and she’s just hurt Suranne again with her right hook! Suranne’s a little shaky now, and I can see her cheek swelling, and there’s another right hook for her – she’s down! Suranne Jones can’t take Alex Curran’s big punches when she times them, but she’s got up again – count got to 8 this time, and Suranne sets herself to swap punches again! But Alex has finished being defensive, and she’s giving Jones a beating now, and those right hooks of hers are really hurting the actress – she has to be glad that round’s over!

Round 6

Suranne’s still looking for Alex, and all credit to her! She got through the blonde girl’s guard then, and made her take a half step backwards, but she just hits Suranne back again, and that’s the right hook again! Suranne felt that, but she’s covering up okay now, and Alex isn’t landing as well because of that, until that shot! Alex whipped a left hand up and under Suranne’s jaw, and that sent her reeling into the ropes! Jones is in trouble here, and Curran’s hitting her around the ribs mostly, with Suranne holding her gloves aside her face, and she’s fighting back now, but that’s a good left from Alex – the end of the round, and Suranne’s getting sorted out in there.

Round 7

Now Alex is boxing well – really jabbing and moving, and that’s a great little flurry of fast punches to Suranne’s face there – Jones can’t keep up, and she’s getting pasted again, backed up in a corner, might go down – no – she holds on and clinches. Curran’s giving her tummy a couple of digs though, and there’s that snaking punch up into the jaw again – Suranne’s hurt, and she’s just about staying on her feet, mouth open, and that’s not good – she can get her jaw broken like that! Alex is giving her a working over inside, and those gloves are dropping, dropping – Suranne is weakening, and this is a painful night for her now – she really looks used up to me!

Round 8

Alex is connecting well with her jab there, and Suranne can’t keep her off – she’s groaning as the punches land, and she’s bleeding quite badly from the nose after that smacking she got that time – another good shot from Alex there to Suranne’s ribs! There’s the right hook, caught her jaw with that one, and Suranne’s on her backside, and can she carry on? The girl’s up again – count reached 8 – but that’s enough says the referee! Suranne’s protesting, but she can hardly stand, and I think that’s the right decision from the ref there! Suranne was in real danger of getting badly hurt.

So the official result is that Alex Curran stopped Suranne Jones in round 8.

Alex didn’t seem to want that fight tonight at first – but when she did, it was a rout!
