Jennifer’s in a red bikini, Laura in a black bikini - the ladies will fight barefeet!!
Round 1
The ladies come out and touch gloves. Laura takes the fight to Jennifer. It appears that Laura plans to end this one early. Jennifer looks a little cold as Laura scores with some solid body shots. Jennifer seems content to block. Laura continues to pressure Jennifer who begins to show some offense. Jennifer with her first power punch finds Laura's left jaw. Pausini grimaces but connects with a right to Jennifer cheek. Laura has opened a cut on Jennifer's cheekbone just below her left eye. Jennifer tries to cover up as Laura unloads lefts and rights in an effort to score a first round KO. Laura is unable to inflict more damage before the bell sounds to end the round. Jennifer staggers back to her corner gasping for air.
Round 2
Jennifer comes out a little more pumped this round. The ladies exchange four or five heavy punches. Both ladies emit groans. Laura continues to flick her left into Jennifer's cheek, which opens the cut again. Laura persists with her big right, which is causing Jennifer's face to puff up. Jennifer settles down and begins with systematic body punches. Laura becomes more defensive. Laura finds Jennifer's cheek again with a solid right. That one hurt. Laura moves in again working on Jennifer's left cheek. Laura misses with a right and Jennifer digs a surprise low left to the top of Laura's midsection. Jennifer sends a crashing right to Laura's left eye. Pausini clinches with Jennifer. The ref pulls the ladies apart. There's blood on Laura's eye, she's been cut by the punch. Now both ladies are cut before the end of the second round. The ladies coast down for the remainder of the round.
Round 3
Laura comes out on the attack. It looks like she'll put Jennifer away early. The cut hasn't slowed Pausini as she continues to work on Jennifer's left cheek. Jennifer's left eye now looks very puffy. Jennifer can't seem to get into this fight. Laura misses with a couple of heavy right that would have put Jennifer down. Laura misses with another right and Jennifer buries a left low on Laura's chin, maybe too low. The blow momentarily paralyzes Pausini. Ellison drives a solid right over Laura's guard that lands flush on the end of Laura's chin. Laura falls on her back. The ref counts but she doesn’t look like she's able to get up. This is how one punch can change a fight. Laura courageously struggles to her feet. Her eyes are glassy. The ref waves Jennifer in to finish Laura off.
There is still a minute left in the round. Laura is trying to block punches but Jennifer delivers a clean right uppercut to Laura's chin. Laura falls backwards into the corner post, her arms going over the top rope, leaving her dangling by her arms in the corner. Laura Pausini is hanging defenceless in the corner and still semi-conscious . Jennifer unloads an unobstructed left, then a right into Laura's nose. Jennifer snaps a solid right into the side of Laura's jaw. The Italian star rolls forward onto the canvas ending up stretched out on her back. The ref sends Jennifer to a neutral corner and begins to count but Laura is not getting up. Laura is unconscious ,she remains in the ring ,KO, a few minutes, until Jennifer’s officially announced the winner.
