"FIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS" PPV

Leighton Meester versus Jessica Lowndes

BEFORE: It's a big match between the two of them as Lowndes' career really took off after her win over Leighton Meester last year, but Meester has consistently called that the “cheapest win EVER”, furious over the match itself. Lowndes has been completely unapologetic regarding the match, fueling Meester's rage and determination for the rematch. The two of them both appear on the CW, but unable to even speak to one another at various events for the network and tonight is no different, hardly acknowledging each other at the podium. The tension between the two is obvious to all the reporters gathered prior to the match.

Lowndes smirks at the podium, “Meester knows I kicked her ass last time. Kicked her ass. Meester is getting a lot of positive press right for breaking little Minka Kelly's heart, but guess what? I'm going to do the same to her. If Leighton tries to get in to my mounds again, I'll do to her just what I did last time. If Leighton was a little blubbering skank last time, she's going to just be in a puddle of tears by the time I'm through with her tonight. Merry freaking Christmas, Leighton loser!”

Leighton nearly shaking at the podium, “I warned Jessica after the last match that there would be a reckoning. Tonight's it. Tonight is it. I am going to get into Jessi's mounds whenever I want, do whatever I want and she's just going to have to take it! Me beating Minka wasn't a fluke – it was a sign of things to come! Jessica is going to wish she'd never messed with me, because I'm going to pound her soft little body into submission tonight!”

Lowndes squealing in outrage at being described as soft, tugging on Meester's tanktop to slap at the back of her head and face, peeling her away from the podium. Meester whirling around – savagely slapping at Jessica's face and chest – officials stepping in between them as they glower across the podium – finally acknowledging one another.

Lowndes wearing a slick black bikini with brunette hair in a fighting ponytail; Meester also clad in a gorgeous black bikini and hair in a ponytail. Matching gloves for both of them. The sight of each other wearing the same colors has them charging at one another, promising to beat the other 'blue' to coordinate with their outfits. The ref decides to forego them touching gloves at this point as the match starts.

R1: Both Meester and Lowndes come out of their respective corners, moving swiftly and aggressively. Lowndes coming forward, trying to slam in some jabs to Meester's body to try to set the terms of engagement. But, Meester not interested, bobbing and displaying good footwork to avoid the assault. Meester instead mixing in swift body blows and some swift jabs up top, scoring in comprehensive fashion. Slamming in towards Lowndes' head and shoulders as Jessica covers up, managing to avoid being hurt but soaking in the punishment as she is bullied back into the ropes. Each time Lowndes tries to push up off of the ropes, Meester slams in a series of swift hooks and jabs to force her to backpedal again. Sitting butt-in-ropes, Lowndes doesn't get much offense but remains unhurt. However, Meester clearly won this round of negotiations and takes the round on points in a competent, if not devastating, shutout.

R2: Having studied Meester the first round, Lowndes is in prime position to deliver some serious offense the second round and does she deliver. Lowndes pouncing forward, dodging underneath Meester's jabs and immediately sends her gloves out towards Meester's chest in the first minute. For all of Meester's talk about “pounding Lowndes' mounds.”, it's Lowndes who hammers away at Meester's cleavage first to slam her leather in harshly, battering Meester's orbs. Leighton squeals in protest, covering up her chest as Lowndes dips her attack lower in the second minute, hammering in towards Leighton's tummy. As Leighton moves her guard lower, Lowndes lunges forward to slam in a hard right cross to Meester's cheek. Wobbly-butt and a second straight shot sends Meester staggering backwards, crashing to her butt as MEESTER IS DOWN! Meester manages to beat the count, pushing to all fours first and then scrambling to her feet as Lowndes presses forward. Gloves whipping around towards Meester's face as Meester keeps her guard up, clinching and using counter-punching to keep Lowndes from scoring another knockdown. Lowndes tries as hard as she can, but can't punch Leighton out this round. Lowndes is pulled off by the ref as she glares at Meester, who is recovering from the knockdown with a dazed expression on her face.

R3: Lowndes emerges from her corner, pouncing forward and eager to build up on her progress the prior round and close this one out early. But, Leighton is not even ready to go yet as the two of them collide mid-ring, almost bumper-car boxing in the initial seconds as they bounce off each other. But, closing in again quickly, swarming towards one another in a wave of leather hurtling towards one another. Meester slamming in with powerful, short jabs to Jessi's body, while Lowndes retaliates with the same. A bitterly contested two way exchange throughout the initial two minutes, but down the stretch, Leighton starts to separate herself from Jessica. Just moving a little faster, beating Lowndes to the punches, drilling in shots to body and hurting her opponent. Powerful, short jabs stuffing to Lowndes' tummy, torso and ribs, just digging in behind Lowndes' elbows as Meester recovers from the beatdown of the previous round late with some hard shots that leave Lowndes winded.

R4: Lowndes is definitely a little slower coming off of her stool this round, whether she's worn out from her explosive outburst of offense in the second round or that bitterly contested exchange from the previous round, but regardless, it's all Meester at this point. Lowndes coming forward, trying to establish the jab or send in some overhead shots to clip Meester's chin, but Leighton manages to escape any serious hurt. Meester chests up into Lowndes and bodies her back into the ropes, then goes to work on living up to her promise and pounding at Lowndes' mounds, gloves hammering into Lowndes' chest. Lowndes' shouting in protest, but unable to put a stop to it this round as Meester delivers another shut-out and at this stage of the match, a more devastating one. Meester is in control, shoving off of Lowndes with authority as the bell rings.

R5: It's difficult for a proud fighter for Lowndes to suffer a shutout like that and she is determined not to let it happen again, stepping forward to slam in rights and lefts towards Meester's body. Meester soaking in some hooks as Lowndes thumps them against her body, but it's Meester who sets the tempo after the start. Jabbing forward at jugs, then short little body blows as she blocks Lowndes' shots. Bringing in her elbows close, not letting Lowndes' aggression get through her defenses, ocassionally slamming in a clipping shot to Jessica's chin. Although Lowndes is having more success than in the previous round, the result is the same as Meester continues to impose her will, boxing smart as she doesn't allow herself to get seriously hurt and instead, lands some good power shots to wear down Lowndes further. Meester takes a third straight round as Lowndes send out an angry punch to Meester's tummy after the bell – the ref coming in hot as Leighton and Lowndes get into a chippy little altercation, but are swiftly sent to opposing corners.

R6: Lowndes looks to fire away on Leighton, coming forward in the first minute to send out some jabs and hooks, mixing them up between Meester's breadbasket and her face. Connecting with some of the shots, certainly more than Meester would like as Meester tucks in her elbows, gloves coming up protectively to weather the uprising from Lowndes, who is still combative even after the punishment delivered the last few rounds. Meester wants to put a stop to that, lunging forward behind her guard, straight right and left shots towards Jessica's face. Lowndes frustratd by the show of resistance and grows even more frustrated as Leighton switches her attacks down low, just spanking her gloves forward into Lowndes' tummy. Lowndes' backpedaling in the final minute, hugging her body, trying to clinch as Leighton allows her to, then forces Lowndes to take her weight and shoves her back into the ropes. Battering down against Jessica's torso, the ref has to pull Meester off at the end of the round as Lowndes is groaning out, showing some signs of distress after another promising round ends up lost at the punishing hands of Leighton.

R7: Perhaps it's Meester's turn to be tired after the punishing pace she's been delivering lately from the previous few rounds as she seemingly takes the round off. Lowndes bodying up against Meester, shoulder bumping and licking stiff hooks against Leighton's torso, tummy and ribs. Leighton baiting Lowndes ocassionally, just drawing her in and then fighting in spots, jabbing to jugs or delivering a clipping shot across Lowndes' chin. But, Lowndes outworks her this round, managing to pound at Meester's mounds in spots or whipping some jabs across her body. Whenever Lowndes seems to get into a rhythm, though, Meester clinches to prevent her from continuing her offense. Lowndes keeps shoving Meester away, resuming her work trying to wear down Leighton with body shots, but her momentum keeps getting busted up. Lowndes' takes the round on points, but argues with Meester about “holding” and Meester just winks heading back to her corner.

R8: Meester certainly doesn't take a break this round and doesn't employ any holding, though Lowndes is given plenty else to complain about. Lowndes is unfortunately shut out again as Leighton is boxing like a champion this round, slamming in one-two combinations to body and ripping away with right hooks to sternum. Meester just busting up Lowndes this round as Jessica is wobbly-butt, staggering back to the ropes. Meester reaching in underneath Lowndes' arms, bodying her back into the ropes and then stuffing in shots to her tummy before she can get her guard back up. Lowndes gets shut out again, slumping down in the ropes at bell as Meester breaks her down a bit, slamming in an insurance blow into the belly button timing it just as as the bell rings, folding Lowndes over. This draws a look, but no warning from the ref as Leighton arches up an eyebrow, strutting back to her corner with a smile after a classy shutout.

R9: Lowndes obviously a bit panicked, knowing she can't keep losing rounds like this as the match appears to have slipped away from her. Coming forward now, knowing she has come back from a beating from Meester before and looking to repeat that magic tonight as she lunges forward in attack-mode. But, Meester is patiently boxing now, just bobbing and weaving away from Lowndes' charge. Forcing Lowndes to pursue and then ducking underneath, exploding forward in a flurry of offense as she just hurts Jessi at will. Jessica gets picked apart this round, just mixing it up, with steady shots to the body, jabbing to jug, tagging her torso and hooking at her cheek. Lowndes' eyes fill with confusion and anger, hardly knowing where to block as Meester keeps hammering in – over and over. Lowndes' legs hold her up, proving durable throughout as she's hurt, but not knocked down. It's the one positive her corner keeps telling her after the round, though it's not clear from the furious expression on Lowndes' face that she's listening, especially after Leighton saunters by and smirks down at her, “Wanna quit, Jessi or want me to pound your mounds some more?” Lowndes almost lunges off of her stool, but corner keeps her back and gets the ref's attention, who issues stern warning to Meester.

R10: Meester comes forward aggressively and executes her game plan to perfection to close out this match. Lowndes pounces forward, eager to make Meester pay, but Leighton never gives her a chance. Slapping in some overhead lefts to draw her guard upwards, Leighton drills in leather to tummy, driving her fist upwards into Lowndes' abs over and over. Jessica doubling over, gasping, seemingly paralyzed as she hugs her body and tries to catch her breathe. Leighton doesn't plan on letting her though as she sends a right overhead cross that sends Lowndes spilling to all fours, holding her tummy and cradling her ribs. Lowndes, surprisingly enough, gets to her feet and her sturdy legs hold her up again, perhaps to her detriment as Meester stacks her up against the ropes. Meester POURS through her defenses and scores at will, smacking in shots to her tummy, burying her fist in and then smacking leather into opposing face. Whipping Lowndes' face backwards as Jessica tries to clinch, but Leighton just jabs forward into jugs, pounding her foe's mounds one last time before the ref steps in and awards the match to Leighton Meester via TKO10!

AFTER: It's a great win for Meester, especially in light of her previous win over Minka and a big result for her, establishing herself tonight. Depending on how things go with Elisha and Minka later tonight, it could have Leighton in prime position to finally establish herself as an Alpha here at Lookout! Definitely a good place for Leighton to be and perhaps even more importantly, scoring a win over one of her hated rivals is even better. Lowndes' win over her has been one of the most frustrating losses of her career and one that she hasn't been able to forget, so being able to get revenge and in such dominating fashion – quite a Christmas present.

Lowndes woozy on her stool as Leighton isn't done yet, remembering the shabby treatment she received from Jessica last time and eager to return the favor. Lowndes' blinking back tears, protesting “NO!” as Leighton tugs her out by her hair and top, slinking one arm around her waist for a payback Walk of Shame. Posing her in each of the corners, showing off, forcing Jessica to try to avert her tear-streaked and scuffed face for the cameras. Meester planting a kiss on Jessica's cheek, which burns Lowndes to no end. Just a show of disrespect as Meester forces Lowndes around several circuits, shoulders back, chest out and occasionally sending down a little slap to tummy just to keep Lowndes in line. Lowndes is positively miserable, finally taking the opportunity when Meester shoves her away to scamper through the ropes, vowing swift retribution in between tears. Leighton Meester poses in the ring for another minute, however, hands over her head as she, quite simply, never looked better and looks ready for ascendancy to alpha status on the heels of a performance like this.
