We're past the noon in Barnet and the KO Club crowd is about to enjoy the second showing of it's very own Lioness Club members with Keisha Buchanan looking to end her horrible streak of six defeats since joining the stable back in August of last year. But the same plan applies to her today's rival, fellow singer Diana Vickers who has lost five bouts herself and quite frankly never looked even close to winning one either. It's the ultimate battle of the jobbers but perhaps a win would trigger a meaningful future for the better of these two girls.

Keisha enters the ring strictly business with Sugababes' own "Hole in the Head" accompanying her along the way. She's wearing a black basque top with white laces, black knicker and red gloves. Hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Meanwhile Diana Vickers has chosen Blondie's "Call Me" as her entry music and indeed she's all blonde curls on display with a red basque top, matching knickers and black gloves completing the attire. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Crowd supports Keisha early and despite her woeful record, she knows she's up against a similar struggler so throws the first agressive punches without much hesitance as Diana answers back and whacks her on the forearms and skims off the gloves. Both girls show a lot of intention but paddle along landing weak and wayward shots until Diana flicks a straight jab on the mouth somehow breaking through Keisha's mitts, left hand on the cheek follows and Buchanan's eyes open wide with Vickers slamming a right hook on the chin and the crowd goes silent with the blonde singer bashing their favorite to the body and pushing her to the ropes late in the round and that literally happened out of nowhere! Keisha forces a clinch with Diana leaning on her anyway and almost headbutting at the bell and there's more as she whips a shot to the stomach well after the bell and gets lectured by the ref during the interval.

Round 2:
Vickers shows no fear with the crowd jeering at her in numbers, left hook reaches for the cheek again, right over the top and poor Keisha's guard is woefully exposed one more time; jabbing sequence to the guts sends her backing into the ropes as Diana throws chaotic punches but meets no response and is allowed to keep the cumbersome Buchanan pinned at the ropes. Few shots skim off the forearms and gloves, but a big right jab catches Keisha on the mouth, left hand on the tummy and the Sugababes' most senior member caves in, covers up, invites her blonde foe to land further shots on the body and looks absolutely out of her depth at the bell. One must thank Diana isn't a big puncher or else she'd have swept Buchanan aside already!

Round 3:
More from Vickers as she's batting at her hapless rival and Keisha seems genuinely surprised that Diana can actually throw a punch here while the crowd starts to lose faith slowly as the jeering at Vickers calms down and not much support for Keisha either. Left hook snaps Buchanan's head back and forces her to circle around the ring; Diana can't beat her for speed and agility but reaches out and scores single shots for remainder of the round with Keisha looking twice as bad as her record indicates!

Round 4:
During the interval coach Gina Wild grabs Keisha by the shoulders and tries to ignite any sort of a spark into her girl but Vickers lays more leather into her after the bell, now targeting the midsection with lots of success as Buchanan's efforts swing around her head before a fine uppercut to the chest sends Keisha on the back foot again and Diana single jabs to the head, peppers the gloves but still pierces them and gives her rival more trouble to the mouth with Keisha's lip beginning to swell. Vickers keeps coming forward while Buchanan doesn't seem to enjoy this one at all, circles around, throws weak shots and gets tagged with another over the top striking in the final minute; her ponytial swings back and forth as the blonde thumps more leather into her face and one has to wonder just how bad can it get from here for the ex-Sugababes girl? It's a Diana Vickers rout through four and if only she could find that haymaker to finally relieve Buchanan from her misery.

Round 5:
Sudden change from Keisha after another lecture from coach Gina Wild and this time Diana cuts through the air, leans on her foe but gets tagged with a swift left hook on the cheeks, right on the navel and Buchanan throws her best sequence yet, pummels to the body and forces the blonde to back away and blink in disbelief. On comes Keisha again, catching the fellow singer with a right hook on the ribs and a left uppercut straight on the jaw as Vickers' defence gets exposed but to be honest, it was never really tested so far. Keisha's slightly quicker on her feet on top of that, hassles the blonde around the ring for a while, nails her with another left hook on the cheeks and pounds to the body late in the round as Diana finds herself covered up and butt-in-ropes at the bell.

Round 6:
Both women come charging out for the sixth but Vickers skims off the shoulder with a right hook, gets sliced with a similar right on the mouth instead and wobbles badly as Keisha pours in with more jabs to the chest, bounces off the blonde's rack, whips a left hook on the eye and VICKERS SITS DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE!!! Crowd errupts in joy and the poor blonde can't stop blinking in anger before beating the count at seven. More jabs from Keisha who pummels to the chest again, awkward blocks from Diana, mis-timed response too and as a result it's Buchanan thumping jabs to the blonde's face, leaving extended bruises and a nasty cut on the right cheek. Diana seeks respite, jumps to the ropes and ducks under a flying hook, whacks the local favorite to the ribcage but Keisha slams a right over the top and Diana's arms are slow to raise... straight on the temple and the blonde sinks on her knees, leans against the corner post moaning in pain as Buchanan cleans out her midsection and continues to rip through her guts only to hear the bell halt her progress.

Round 7:
Vickers wants to bide more time along the ropes, but Keisha smells blood here and goes after her straight away. All that early advantage proves futile for the blonde girl as she hasn't really hurt Keisha who now gets her chances and she easily beats Vickers for pace, single strikes to the head, snaps it back and forth and Diana nearly stumbles over in the middle of the ring, forced to duck and weave all over the canvas. More head-snapping from Keisha who really wants to break the seventeen months losing streak and she catches the blonde on the cheeks; it's her turn to make a mockery of the opponent's high guard as Vickers gets pummelled back to the ropes. She covers up but gets whacked on the breasts with couple of heavy thumps, another nails her on the liver and the blonde can't stop moaning at all with Buchanan in one-sided execution. Several single jabs sink Diana further down on her knees but it's a left hook on the temple that causes the all-important difference as VICKERS GOES DOWN ON HER KNEES in the corner and she's really struggling to get up now but beats the count at eight. She shakes her head with her blonde curls flying to the side but it's more leather-eating soon as Keisha jumps at her and bashes to the face from point-blank range and the cuts on both cheeks are starting to bleed badly now with Diana pinned along the corner post... left hook on the mouth, right on the temple and the arms drop to the side as tears start to flow as wel... VICKERS SLIDES DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE again and this time ref waves it off on the spot... KO R7 Keisha Buchanan!!!

Post-fight:
Massive roar from the KO Club audience as Keisha Buchanan becomes the last member of the Barnet based stable to score a BBU victory despite seemingly not having a sniff at success in the first four rounds against Diana Vickers. Indeed, if the blonde X Factor singer had any sort of a punching power she'd have won this bout easily inside those four rounds as she clearly led on points at that stage and looked poised to knock Buchanan out. But instead she's left with some cuts and bruises on her face and pondering what might have been.

Denise van Outen reports that whoever won this fight is destined to take another recent struggler, Kimberley Walsh after new Year and perhaps there's some truth in that as Keisha calls out the Girls Aloud member in her post-fight interview before leaving the ring to a standing ovation while poor Diana needs an ice pack to treat her face wounds but requires much more to heal her broken spirit in the upcoming months!

Final result: Keisha Buchanan def. Diana Vickers KO7.
