The first part of the BBU Christmas Special concludes with another lightweight contest to be held between Beever's Babes' Daisy Lowe and Lioness Club's own Karolina Kurkova. The dark-haired English girl hasn't fought since February where she lost to Krystal Forscutt but her clash with fellow model Kurkova was rumoured since ages before finally getting the go ahead today. Lowe has never really build upon her victory over Bar Rafaeli but the highly touted Czech blonde has suffered some disappointing losses herself and her steam has also seemed to evaporate in recent months so this bout serves for more purposes than it would have earlier in the year.

Rounds 1 & 2:
Both girls somewhat lethargic in execution early, testing each other out, perhaps wary of a wayward single punch that can cause trouble. Despite her experience advantage Kurkova holds back with Bar Rafaeli's scalp on Lowe's resume serving as a real treat; after all she got humiliated by Adriana Lima not a while ago and the word in the business is, Rafaeli is actually superior to Lima. Lowe seems happy to follow the funereal pace of the bout but after six minutes both coaches, Denise Lewis and Gina Wild, are all over their girls' ears and no one can blame them. This isn't a Floyd Mayweather fight after all.

Round 3:
Lowe with the first meaningful action, she flicks a series to the chest and follows it up with a shot on the chin as Karolina finally wakes up and spikes the brunette to the stomach herself but the younger model is quicker on her feet, counters with another series to the breasts and pushes the blonde back. Kurkova tries to leap at her, misses a straight-forward hooks and gets tagged by a left over the top, another right on the navel sends her to the ropes where she circles away from an onrushing challenge but refuses to engage for remainder of the round with Daisy keeping her honest with some menacing hooks to the head.

Round 4:
More attacks from Lowe who seemingly dropped her respect to the Czech model and she whacks her on the ribs early, bounces off the chest and finds another hook on the temple as Karolina drives to the guts with her response, slams a series to the ribcage and looks for a head-snapping effort but fails to connect as the brunette ducks under her swing and crashes off her midsection herself. Daisy with a fine combo to the chest, flicks an uppercut to the chin and finds another hook on the temple, outworking the blonde with her agility, throws another flurry of jabs to the body and Karolina must step back; she tries to ignite some steam with single shots over the top but Daisy keeps her at bay and seemingly secures another rounds on points which is met with some loud jeering from the Barnet crowd.

Round 5:
Kurkova looks annoyed; jumps after the brunette with mean intentions but can't match her pace and Lowe acts like a real veteran, drops her arms and allows the blonde to waste some energy in a fruitless chase, spikes her over the top with a single shot and bursts out laughing upon landing it and seeing Karolina's reaction. The blonde is furious and so is the entire crowd! Kurkova with a jabbing series to the head, Lowe's guard solid as a rock though, can't break it with a hammer and another quick strike over the top catches the Czech girl on the eye but this time there's a swift follow up to the jugs and Daisy just rips into them without much ado as Kurkova steps back after couple of heavy shots and she takes a quick glance on her bikini top whether it's doing alright... bad move... Lowe whacks her with a double hooking combo on each temple and the crowd goes silent as Karolina falls on the ropes looking dizzy and drops her arms to the side... There's the bell and that never looked like three minutes done!!! Home cooking in Barnet? Denise Lewis just shakes her head but embraces the brunette model who keeps pulling away on cards.

Round 6:
Karolina nods to coach Gina Wild after a difficult round but she just can't crack the younger model down here; eats more jabs to the chest and a fine uppecut to the chin as Lowe pours in with more venom. She slams the blonde's ribs, pierces her mitts and bounces off the mouth, leaves some bruises with more jabs on the cheeks, ducks under a weak and slow swinging effort before catching the blonde on the liver with a huge hook. That stuns Kurkova for good as she bends forward and looks hurt now; Right hook on the temple, left hook on the eye and DOWN GOES KURKOVA ON HER KNEES in the middle of the ring as Daisy just wipes the invisible sweat off her nose. The blonde is suffering, gets one knee up at five and eventually beats the count at nine but her eyes are misty and she's not in the best of shape at all. Ref tries to salvage some Barnet pride, allows it to go on but Daisy whacks her on the ribcage without much sympathy, pushes back to the ropes and continues to bash Karolina's guts out with a ferocious look on her face and the crowd is just silent now, the sound of the leather crashing off the blonde's midsection is painful to hear for anyone following the Lioness bunch and Kurkova caves in, doesn't stop moaning in agony, yet refuses to go down like a cheap tent. Makes no difference to Daisy whose charge in eventually interrupted by the bell but the Beever's camp is celebrating already as the dark-haired vixen struts back to her corner.

Round 7:
A complete silence in the audience before the seventh but there's no towel coming from coach Wild. Karolina is a mess though, she slowly gets up from her stool only to walk into another jabbing series to the chest; she swings another laughable shot to the head but Daisy ducks underneath that, slams one to the temple herself, pierces the mitts with a hooking follow-up, nails the cumbersome blonde on the mouth and Kurkova wobbles back to the ropes, loses her balance alltogether, wraps her arm around the rope to stay upright but there's Daisy coming with the piledriver!!!! .... Or not!!! Ref grabs Daisy's outstretched arm and holds her back with the brunette model turning at him and asking "What the f###?" That's it, like it or not, the man in charge has stepped in and loud jeers conclude this fight where the local blonde was literally one punch from getting knocked out cold... TKO R7 Daisy Lowe!!!

Post-fight:
A nightmare finish to the morning session of the Christmas Special for the local fans as Daisy Lowe celebrates with coach Denise Lewis and rightfully so. After a slow start she basically annihilated Karolina Kurkova who looked nothing like a girl capable of challenging for the lightweight crown anytime soon if ever. That first round shocker to Adriana Lima seems to be still bothering the proud Czech model, bost physically as well as mentally.

Perhaps there are several girls on the BBU roster unable to match Kurkova's skills but Daisy is not one of them. It's a shame she got so little exposure after a fine win over Bar Rafaeli last year but in post-fight interview with Denise van Outen she promises 2013 will be her time: "You can take it to the bank Denise, even if I have to pound all those PageThrees' skanks, I will prove my worth. I beat Bar and she's really big in the States, now I've dwarfed Kurkova and she's equally big over here and back there! They're all afraid of me Denise, that's why I can't buy a fight! But they will learn better next year! Just wait and see!" Van Outen finds no flaws in Daisy's logic as both women head off to the bar to catch some much needed break before the second part of activities gets underway in about two hours time. Most of the KO Club audience do likewise as Karolina Kurkova failed to follow Geri Halliwell and Keisha Buchanan and the intended Lioness sweep has officially gone off the rails.

Final result: Daisy Lowe def. Karolina Kurkova TKO7.
