The last of the rookie enters the KO Club ring and looks to maintain the newcomers' streak who won all the six bouts held today in Barnet. Becky Rule is a 5'6" blonde glamour model but unlike Stacey Massey or Amii Grove her opponent is of somewhat higher standard, Kear's Kats' Sarah Harding. After the recent Girls Aloud reunion Harding is poised into breaking her mediocre record which she was on the best way of doing when she stopped Elisabetta Canalis back in August before losing in equally brutal fashion to Laura Pausini couple of months later. Lack of consistency is Harding's biggest problem despite alleged rumours calling her the most promising fighter of the entire Girls Aloud bunch. Fighting a rookie like Rule is hardly an improvement for someone who clashes gloves back-to-back with the likes of Rochelle Wiseman and Malika Menard but Sarah makes a slow rise up the rankings following some heavy defeats in the past.

Round 1:
New girl comes charging off her stool only to get tagged by Sarah's hooks on the body and retreat quickly but Harding leaps after her and pierces her mitts with a straght jab and follows up to the ribcage but Rule quickly dashes to the side and throws a combo herself preventing Sarah from another attack. Both girls circle around each other until Harding blinks first and throws a flurry of jabs to the body, keeping the model back. Becky tries to use her footwork to escape trouble but Sarah menaces around her and keeps landing single shots until the bell allthough she can't score a noteworthy combo and looks annoyed at the bell already.
Round 2:
Becky with a quick start, catches the singer on the head with early jabs but misses a hooking follow up and enables Sarah to go after her midsection and that's successful as Rule winces in pain with Harding peppering her guts and bouncing off the rack in the proccess. Becky covers up, forces a clinch after Sarah went too deep and lost her footing but the action resumes quickly after the command with Harding peppering the chest, piercing the mitts and bouncing off the jugs again, left hook on the chin sends the model spinning back to the ropes and she can't avoid another big hook cleaning out her temple shortly afterwards. Sarah pins her foe on the ropes but reverts into more ribcage assualt as Becky covers up until the bell and looks somewhat overwhelmed by the singer's performance.
Round 3:
Sarah out with a blast, catches the model with an early hook on the cheek, gutwrenches her afterwards and lands another fierce uppercut on the jaw, sending Rule back to the ropes where she traps her for good and smacks across the guard repeatedly. Becky ducks and weaves on her feet but her mitts are torn apart eventually and Sarah spikes her on the mouth, causes the lip to swell already and more shots land on Becky's stomach as she bends forward and moans in pain which only feuls Harding's work rate as she keeps striking over the top and really wearing the younger girl down along the ropes. Couple of heavy jabs on the navel take the breath out of Rule and she's relieved to hear the bell.
Round 4:
Still all Harding, the singer leaps after her foe and closes her down with ease, slams a series to the chest, finds an uppercut on the jaw and staggers the model in the middle of the ring, more hooks catch her on the jaw and BECKY HITS THE CANVAS FLAT ON HER BACK before getting up at six but looking very much second-handed. Makes no difference to Sarah who whips her over the top on the mouth, causes the lip to bleed now and pounds her on the cheeks as Becky caves in and looks to be in all kinds of bother. Sarah barks in anger, obviously wants to brutalize the rookie and spikes her on the face again with Rule's gloves torn apart and dropping to the side, left hook on the mouth sees more blood from the lip and a right shot on the temple sends BECKY DOWN ON HER SIDE for the second time. She gets up on all fours but with the blood stains on the canvas from her wounded lip getting bigger and bigger she makes no effort to beat the count and it really looks like she gave up on this one rather than wanted to take more abuse in wake of a superior opponenent. KO R4 Sarah Harding!!!
Post-fight:
That was quick and efficient from the Girls Aloud blonde who just tooj the fight to the rookie and ripped her into pieces in less than four rounds. Becky claims she was given a much harder opponent than all the previous newcomers but it's the luck of the draw. She accepted the challenge and got a split lip as her reward instead of a victory on her debut. Just like several other girl who have lost on their debut, she can only go up from here whereas Harding ends the year with just a sole defeat to Laura Pausini on her resume and perhaps the Girls Aloud reunion will really help her to finally rise into the elite class next year.
