(Downunder Boxing vs Foxfire Atlantic Boxing)

The BBU Christmas Special PPV nears it's end with just three bouts left on the schedule but they are all high-profile contest. The first one features the current ACB bantamweight champion top class supermodel Miranda Kerr who for some reason can't seem to find a breakthrough in the FCBA nor in fact in the BBU having fought just once over in England where she famously broke Charlotte Church's nose back in March right here in Barnet. The high-flying supermodel makes her return to North London to take on Foxfire Atlantic's fellow Australian Rose Byrne who has a FCBA debut under her belt already but her record is somewhat inferior to the unbeaten Kerr.

Miranda Kerr wearing a naby blue basque top, white knickers and black gloves. Rose Byrne wearing a red basque top, black knickers and red gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Kerr launches the first attack and peppers Byrne's body before flicking a fine uppercut to the chin and pushing the actress back. She scores another jabbing combo on the head before Rose can throw a punch on her own but that gets blocked by the guard and it's more attacks from Kerr who slams across her foe's nose and buries the leather in her guts to force an early moaning of pain. Miranda works the single hand over the top and Rose can only weave around her in avoidance but to no great avail with Kerr snapping her head back and looking as good as a reigning ACB champion should be.

Round 2:
Byrne tries to bide some time in mid-distance but Kerr matches her speed across the canvas and clobbers to the chest, flicks a series on the ribs and spikes her with an overhand right on the temple. Rose backs away briefly but gets repeatedly struck on the head with her mitts offering little protection and Mirands just keeps harrassing her across the canvas for remainder of the round with the fight turning into a proper sparring from Kerr's perspective and Rose unable to do anything about it.

Round 3:
More punches to Byrne's body, she covers up and works single shots from behind the guard but skims off the arms and gets laced between the arms with a huge straight jab, wobbles back to the ropes, dekes to the side just in time to avoid another onslaught and nails Kerr on the tummy with some low jabs, finds more success and spikes the model to the chin and that gets the crowd cheering with Rose finally lashing out at her with ferocious hook on each temple as Kerr leans on her and forces a clinch. Byrne spikes her to the body and pushes back to center of the ring and Miranda leaps away and both women circle until the bell with Rose getting some applause as she walks back to her corner cause the bout really needed her influence.

Round 4:
Rose comes out swinging and Miranda gets an early reality check when couple of hook crash off her cheeks but she drives forward with response, slams a series to the ribs but there come Byrne with similar shots, she bends the model forward with a fine punch on the navel, bounces off her rack and slices across the mouth which forces Kerr back and the crowd really gets behind the alleged underdog with Byrne thumping a fine combo to the guts and Miranda winces a little in response, covers up and allows Rose to close her down again; heavy slaps land on the model's ribcage and she can only clinch late in the going with Byrne pushing her against the corner post but running out of time to make further impact.

Round 5:
Kerr tries to turn the tables on this fight which has swung into Byrne's favor and she leaps after the actress with menacing hooks but Rose squares up to her and a ferocious leather trade-off ensues in the middle of the ring with Rose piercing the model's mitts before Miranda spikes her over the top and nails on the nose, follows up with a series to the guts and Rose bends forward misses an uppercut to the jaw and gets laced with a hook on the tummy, another one on the chest and a left jab on the mouth. Byrne wobbles back as Kerr notices her chance and slams a right hook on the jaw and BYRNE FALLS FLAT ON HER BACK WITH HER EYES CLOSED... Crowd calms down and awaits Byrne's comeback but the actress in not moving at all and just blubbers in agony, tries to get up at seven but is a long way short of making even a slightest of efforts and just falls on her back again as a tremendous one-punch destruction gives KO R5 Miranda Kerr!!!

Post-fight:
Foxfire Atlantic camp disappointed over the outcome with a huge one-punch finish from the ACB bantamweight champion spoiled what looked to be turning into a really promising night for Rose Byrne. Despite a long leay-off period Miranda Kerr was always capable of delivering a devastating finish as Rose painfully found out today. Nonetherless she sold herself well and looks poised for more high-profile challenges even if Kerr proved just that little bit too hot to handle.

Final result: Miranda Kerr def. Rose Byrne KO5.
