(Kear's Kats vs Lioness Coub)

The penultimate fight of the BBU Christmas Special PPV features the last outing of the Lioness Club member as Melanie Brown takes on Kear's Kats' Kym Marsh. Both women defeated Natalie Bassingthwaighte earlier this year but Melanie's career was thrown on the rocks when she got punched out by both Alesha Dixon and Jennifer Metcalfe of the Beever's Babes. Meanwhile Marsh, fresh off a brutal victory over Liz McClarnon during the Chelsee Healey Triple Crown and the already mentioned against NatBass, looks to add more misery into Mel B's record and promises to destroy her in the ring. With most of the Lioness losing on home turf today it's not entirely possible that the Coronation Street actress will in fact materialise her plans and score one of her best victories to date in BBU.

Round 1:
Marsh keen to inflict early damage, whips Mel B on the body and catches her on the tummy with a jabbing series, bounces off the rack but eats a huge hook on the chest herself as both women rip into each other early with Mel pushing the actress back with some ferocious jabbing to the stomach as Kym misses her hooks and gets tagged on the liver with the singer working over the guts afterwards and the crowd really enjoy that sight. Mel's on a mission, she launches another attack on the chest, slams couple of hooks off Kym's breasts and allthough gets nailed on the tummy herself, pins the actress on the ropes. Marsh tries to clinch, gets slammed on the jaw and mouth and it's more Mel B who just barrages her foe's ribcage and forces to cover up and moan until the bell halts the action,

Round 2:
Quick leap from Brown who beats her opponent for an overhand right and nails Marsh on the mouth. Kym winces in pain, bends to the side and gets laced with a huge right on the chest which wobbles her in the middle of the ring and Brown pours in with more venom, snaps Kym's head back with a left overhand, buries another low hook in her guts and pushes back to the ropes. Marsh laces the singer on the chest with a chaotic but effective response but Mel truly wants to prove a point and perhaps save her place on the Lioness roster as she whips a jabbing sequence around the gloves and nails the actress on the temples which force another moaning from the raven-haired vixen but Mel keeps hammering her on the stomach, sinks Kym on her knees and gutwrenches her almost for fun as Marsh's eyes get bigger but Brown spikes her on the chin and leaves stranded on the ropes at the bell.

Round 3:
Marsh looks concerned after that last round but squares up to the singer only to see her hooks blocked and another jabbing series catch her on the mouth instead. Mel has given Kym a fat lip here with all her attacks and the actress finally desides to seek some respite but Mel pounds her on the ribs and keeps in close distance, bounces off the rack and thumps on the liver to bend Marsh forward and land a huge uppercut on the chin in the middle of that exchange as Kym's mitts get ripped apart and she wobbles back butt-in ropes with Brown lashing out at her midsection, almost hoping to break her in half. Crowd like what they see with Mel rocking the actress back and forth until the bell but Kym covers herself well and avoids more damage allthough that fat lip seems to be bothering her during the interval.

Round 4:
Another charge from the singer who spikes Marsh with a straight jab immediately from the start, footwork doesn't help Kym at all with Mel bouncing off her chest again and again and pressing her towards the ropes. The Corrie star tries to break through the onslaught but Mel blocks her off and pierces her mitts instead, snaps her head back, cuts the lip for good and bangs a sharp hook on the nose after which Kym sinks on her knees and just takes more punishment down low with Brown making a jelly out of her stomach and the onslaught is truly relentless as Marsh moans in pain and just can't stop Mel working her guts over! Arms start to drop to the side and Mel gives Kym a really big thump on the nose causing a serious bleeding and Kym is a total mess now with both her nose and lips covered in red fluid and Mel wants more; she nails the aching foe on the stomach, uppercuts her jugs and almost tears that basque top into pieces as Kym sags on her knees, gets wrenched on the tummy one more time, left hook on the temple, right on the cheek and the arms drop all the way down as Marsh gets literally stranded on the ropes and Mel slices her lips for good with another cross-hook and that's enough for the man in charge as Kym's head slumps on her shoulder and she's taken enough punishment already. Ref jumps in and embraces the battered actress who was seemingly on verge of getting knocked out cold on her feet and the entire Barnet celebrates an emphatic TKO R4 Melanie Brown!!!

Post-fight:
Mel's career might just have been saved as the former Spice Girl just wrecked Kym Marsh in a fight that obviously meant a lot more for Brown than just scoring an ordinary win. In fact, that was probably the best performance for the singer since she signed for the Barnet-based stable and came just in the right time as her recent defeats seemed to question her skills and subsequent future with the Lioness Club. For now Mel avoids her career following Emma Bunton's path and one can only wonder what will happen next year with the Girls Aloud reunion sparking some rumours about an internal girlsband clash with the Spice Girls. That event would certainly sell out any arena in the United Kingdom!
