TESS VALMORE AKA LA TESSIERE

KE$HA/ JONES This is a fight that Ke$ha should have won. She didn’t. The fight was even through four and Ke$ha took the lead in the fifth. In the sixth, she got tagged with couple rights and wobbled back into the ropes. Instead of trying to fight her way off the ropes, she hid behind her gloves and let Jones pound away. Enough punches got through and the referee stopped the fight. I think this performance sends Ke$ha to the bottom of the Front Street lightweight ranks

BECKHAM/ J. L. SPEARS This is a fight that Spears should have won. Beckham had had only four fights in 13 years and lost them all. She didn’t lose this one. It was a good fight with the rounds close. Spears had a two point lead going into the final two rounds, but ended up losing both rounds, The fight was declared a draw and they went extra. Spears took the eleventh, but couldn’t close out the fight in the twelfth. Beckham, then took the thirteenth and the fight, This was considered an upset, but not as bad as the first fight, Seems Spears has trouble with opponents who are singers

PERRY/ KURYLENKO So far this is not turning out to be a good night for Front Street. Perry was undefeated for the year going into this bout. She was rated as 38 in the lightweights. Kurylenko was ranked 47. You can switch those spots. Perry got the worst beating of her career. She was decked three times in the first round and never recovered. She hurt Kurylenko only once and lost nine of the ten rounds. The loss was exceptionally bitter since Kurylenko had been beaten by two of Perry’s stablemates

STEVENS/ SEYFRIED This was a bout that was originally scheduled for the ill fated flyweight tournament. Seyfried absolutely had to win this bout. There were no ands, ifs or buts. A loss her would have probably been her last in this stable. She came through. In the third she caught Stevens with a right uppercut and followed with a left that put Stevens down and out. Now, we wait to see if this was enough for Seyfried to save her job.

DENNINGS/ SEYDOUX Dennings is another Front Street member that has been having problems, but Front Street believes she is a real prospect. This night she certainly looked like it. In the first, she caught Seydoux with a shovel hook to the liver that sent Seydoux down for the count in agony. The fight lasted 54 seconds. Can’t get much more impressive than that

HUDSON/ MACK I was certain that Mack was going to win this fight. After three rounds, I thought ‘just what is Mack doing”. She finally started to fight but at the end of eight, she was still behind on the cards. Still, I knew she was going to win. I could feel it. I sensed the kill was coming. In the ninth, it happened. A short right hook sent Hudson to the canvas. She got up but was smeared along the ropes until the referee stepped in and saved Hudson from further punishment.

DECKER/ KRUGER Here we have the pride and joy of Front Street. I know that is true because Decker told me. Decker took the lead in the fight in the fourth, when she floored Kruger. She never lost the lead. There was a lot of comment at the broadcast booth about the eighth. She had Kruger hurt and on the ropes. It appeared to us that she wasn’t trying or couldn't finish her opponent. Kruger, to her credit lasted the fight, but of course, it was Decker that got the wide decision. The question that arose among Jenny, Mac and I was, does Decker have the killer instinct you need to be great? We wonder

Front Street remains undefeated at the Asylum. They started poorly but finished strongly taking the PPV 4-3
