Before: Allen continues to be carefully matched--she could be the next great lightweight, but handlers want to take their time, out her in with recognizable, but beatable names following train wrecks against Dunning and Krakowski. Jones first the bill--out of boxing for several years, she joined Team Theron as trainer and consultant--in her prime one of the best ever and never really overdoing it in the ring, she should have plenty left to test Krista. Fought outdoors, beach n’ bleachers bout southern California--Krista in pale blue bikini, multihued strings, Jones in white bikini gold strings.

During R1: Initial clash sees Allen beat Jones to whistling right crosses--Janet opens the fight hurt as Krista takes over, Allen showing plenty of respect, plies Jones with heavy jab on the face, spearing, then stepping around. Dying seconds, Allen shoots the jab to block Janet’s right, but Allen’s short left uppercut connects flush on the chin, leaving Jones wobbly butt, shutout at the bell.

R2: Krista continues to use every inch of ring, long strong legs gliding easy, heavy jab bashing in on Jones’ face as Janet does appear rusty. Janet cutting off the ring, but Allen spinning out of the corners keeps the blonde turning, and that jab is PUNISHING Jones every few seconds. Jones shut out again, shakes her head in frustration as Allen struts back to her corner.

R3: Allen dominoes to dictate with her legs and ramming jab--Jones lumping up, head snapping back--Krista is steering the blonde beautifully. Allen helping herself to breast with a quick strike lead right from her shoulder, spanking jug, then skipping away as Jones can’t react. Down the stretch, Allen stepping in and out to touch Jones up, drops a hard lead right on the eye that freezes the blonde, doubles up on it to push Jones onto her heels, then drapes Janet onto the ropes with a slinging hook on the teeth, Janet hurt again at the bell--9 minutes have gone by without the blonde generating a single serious offensive threat.

R4: Krista starting to bully Janet now--brunette’s legs are dominating the action, loping Allen into position, getting her out of trouble as the blonde just can’t keep up, Jab has closed Janet’s left eye with constant bashing impact--Janet puffing up, starting to look drowsy. Midway through, Allen skips in with that short lead right to stun Jones again, lifting the blonde onto one foot. Swatting combination of lefts and rights buffet the blonde to the ropes--Jones covering up, but getting picked apart as the brunette keeps it on her. Allen again cautious on follow up, content to step in with the jab and step out-Jones cut over the that battered left eye at the bell. Shutout Allen.

R5: Hurt and bullied Janet Jones lands her first clean punch of the fight to open the fifth--a long, heavy right hand on the cheek that gets Allen’s attention. Krista doesn’t panic, continuing to work the jab to the chest and face of her for, soon has Janet taking again. Down the stretch, Allen poking the jab, stepping to her right--she lunges into a sudden right cross that catches ALL of Janet’s jaw with a pop--Jones; lead foot comes off the canvas as she jerks to her right--bell sounds before Allen can pile on--Jones wobbly butt to her corner.

R6: Jones fading back in front of Krista, timing the jab now, and the blonde suddenly steps in to beat oncoming Allen to the right hand--KRISTA IS HURT! Allen walking into the blow can’t find her legs--Jones clapping left hands upside the head drives the brunette to the ropes. Allen clinching for the break, manages to right the ship, wheeling away once again, keeping Jones on the end of her punches--Janet aggressively walking her girl down, but can’t find the range again this round,. Judges give it to Janet for damage done--Krista still landing more.

R7: Janet landing a few more good right hands early, but Krista seems to have reduced the blonde to a one dimensional fighter. By the midway point, Allen’s legs have reasserted control--she’s stepping in, stuffing the jab into the jugs, then stepping out without receipt. Down the stretch, Krista goes flat footed, sliding back in front of Jones and takes a page out of the blonde’s book: fading the jab, Allen leans forward to beat Jones to the right hand and JONES GOES DOWN! Krista smiling, standing up straight as Jones stumbles to all fours, face brushing sleepily against Krista’s thigh as the ref gets involved. Jones ragged at 8, gloves at her moth, eyes vacant--she lolls onto the ropes as Allen walks in, Krista punching with her right hand under her chin, left across her belly--she’s just dipping that left shoulder and cranking rising, whip action hooks up under Janet’s chin and JANET TAKES A KNEE! Jones up again, looking shot as she lays against the ropes for 8. Allen on in the dying moments, goes at Janet’s body with vicious elbow strikes, Jones folding forward, gasping, and taking a crude right hand/forearm across her face, dropping to one knee again as the bell sounds to end the carnage. Janet refusing to surrender in her corner, shakes off the physician, but she’s ALL beat up after 7.

R8: Jones turns brawler, backing Krista up under long limbed lefts and rights--Krista turning her shoulders and stepping back slips most of it, but at the ropes, Jones catches her a running right hand on the face that has the brunette hanging on,. Allen wobbly butt and the fight takes on a stop and go rhythm: Janet will walk Krista down, drill the left/right, fall into Allen’s clinch--blonde usually walking brunette all the way to the ropes before the referee’s breaks. Bets round for Jones as she bullies Krista, backs her up and shuts her out this round.

R9: Krista with traces of concern--Jones has taken a caning in this fight and refuses to break down. Allen back on her toes, pulping Jones’ faces with the jab and constantly wheeling back and around. Down the stretch, Jones jabbing with Allen gets the brunette slugging--dangerous moment as the long bodied beauties sway side to side, pulling haymakers into one another’s head and a curling right hand explodes off the side of Krista’s jaw, leaving her stupefied at the ropes. Allen’s turn to be saved by the bell as she swoons--Jones bodied back by the ref before she can finish.

R10: Krista back with the jab--establishing hers as maybe the best stick in boxing in a heartless first minute that sees her bludgeon Jones unrecognizable with the left hand. Jones breaking down, hands at her hips--she’s just walking in, trying to land the big punch, but Allen’s angles are decisive, Midway point, Krista has Jones walking into big straight right hands. Janet’s legs starting to give--the blonde’s on autopilot. Allen dives in behind a straight right hand to the pit of the stomach--gunshot impact has Jones gurgling, frozen midring--Krista squares away and pours it on. Clubbing left hook on the cheek, wide right hand splattering ion that horrible left eye, back and forth she slugs as Jones droops forward, mindlessly taking abuse until finally spilling onto all fours. Ref’s seen enough--he waves it off as Jones stares at the canvas--KO10 Krista Allen.

After: Allen’s best career performance reduces a proud blonde beauty to a pulverized wreck--Krista executing perfectly to stop a still dangerous and very fit Janet Jones. Allen’s jab might be the best in boxing after she used it to pick apart the slick veteran, and the brunette took some heavy hits herself to answer criticism about her spirit, Heartbreaking walk of shame for the dazed blonde as a grinning Krista guides her around the ring--Jones not likely to further her comeback after this punishing dismissal.
