BBU NEW YEARS EVE WELTERWEIGHT PPV

(FOXFIRE ATLANTIC BOXING VS LIONESS CLUB)

This is effectively a final eliminator for the BBU welterweight title, with the winner guaranteed a shot at Erika Heynatz.

Add to that the fact that these girls don’t like one another, and the fans excitement can be appreciated.

Jaye enters the ring first, and she’s wearing a golden coloured one-piece outfit tonight, the actress looking good, until the blonde model Alex joins her, and she’s wearing a scarlet bikini, and looks really good.

Round 1

The girls start at a tremendous pace, each slamming punches into the other’s face. Jaye lands three big right hooks in succession, then gets tagged with left, right combo, steps back, then smacks Alex firmly in the face with a left, then a right, takes a right herself, then gets Alex with a left as the model comes in too close, and that hurt her! Another sharp left from Jaye sends Alex backwards, and now Jaye has the model on the ropes, and is doing her best to keep her there, whupping some good shots into her face, goes for the body – but eats a left jab, then a right hand, and she has to back off, looking vulnerable as the bell ends the round.

Round 2

Jaye’s looking really positive, and she gives Alex a good left, right combination to her face really early in the round, and she’s looking the better fighter at this stage, pushing Alex backwards and towards the ropes. The model defends herself well, then she fights back, MAKES Jaye miss, then rips her with a right hook to the body, follows it with another to the jaw, and Jacobs is forced backwards by the power of those punches, half-sits, then defends as the blonde gives her some body punishment. Jaye never looks good in retreat, and she loses that smile as Alex clubs her ribs, and she’s now trying to set the actress up to batter her against the ropes, but the bell sounds before she can, and the girls glare at each other as they return to their corners.

Round 3

The girls swap right hooks in the opening seconds, then Jaye drops her attack to Alex’s body, but gets tagged with the blonde girl’s left, and now Alex gives Jaye a good left, right combination, and the actress drops back. Again Alex whips a right hook into Jaye’s mouth, follows it with another, then in comes the left to her body, and Jacobs is hurt, drifts into the ropes briefly, gets caught again to the ribs with Curran’s left hook, but then she pops Alex backwards, gives her a good combination, but then gets stunned with a right hook, her knees buckling a little, and she holds, running the clock down for the final seconds.

Round 4

Jaye’s blowing hard as the round begins, and now Alex is starting to give her a boxing lesson, the big blonde jabbing well, moving well, and her gloves are starting to polish Jaye’s face – she’s certainly making those cheeks shine! Jaye’s covering up as she backs into the ropes, and Alex can’t find a way past her gloves, and she’s throwing a lot of leather, but too much of it’s being blocked, and now she’s the girl who’s blowing, with Jaye eases herself off the ropes, and she starts to counter punch now, and she lands! Jaye hurts Alex with a good left hook to the mouth, then another to the left, and the bell sees the model holding on and looking like she’ll welcome the inter-round break.

Round 5

Alex has recovered well on her stool, but she’s changed tactics again, and starts looking for big punches, her legspeed more ponderous. Jaye seems to be moving better again, and she shrugs off a poorly timed left hook from the model, then whips a right hook of her own over Alex’s guard, and the blonde shudders a little, and is again forced to hold. That little grin spreads over Jacobs’ face again as she lands a good left to the model’s body from close range, then cracks her across the mouth when the referee breaks them up. Alex is beginning to wilt now, her paler skin scuffing up around the cheeks as Jay’s gloves knock her about, and she’s again glad when the round ends.

Round 6

Again the girls swap punches in the centre of the ring, but now Alex starts to try to outbox Jaye again, which is fine, except that Jacobs has now found her range with her thumping hooks, and she’s hurt Curran again, the model sent stumbling as she gets nailed with a left hook, and she’s already having to hold, her eyes looking a little glassy. Jacobs pushes the blonde, who stumbles backwards, and she whips punches into her face with her left, then with her right, and Curran’s beginning to lose her shape, gets hit to the ribs with a powerful left, and the follow up right to the jaw puts her down! Alex takes her time regaining her feet, ready again at 8, but she’s in trouble as Jaye wheels away at her, and her slightly agricultural punches are finding their mark, with the blonde clearly shaken from that knockdown.

Round 7

And Alex still looks shaky when the girls resume – her gloves aren’t really in the right place, and Jaye’s finding a way to her face very easily with her blasting hooks, and the right one lands in the blonde’s mouth again, sends her back, and sends her down. Alex looks rather groggy now, hauling herself to her feet at 7, and she might not last much longer, with Jaye looking frisky, and again smacking some heavy blows into the body. Pushing Curran back, Jacobs is doing all she can to find that chin again, but the model’s defending herself stoutly, absorbs the punishment on her arms and body, and defies the actress, not allowing her any free hits, making her earn her points.

Round 8

Jaye’s working really hard now, upping her tempo, still looking to knock Alex out – but Alex is sticking with it, and she’s even managing to hit Jaye back now, and the girls trade punches in the centre of the ring, Alex’s right hook’s landing nicely, but Jaye’s countering with quick combinations, and she’s forcing the model back again. Jaye unloads a couple of big hooks on Alex’s body, and that makes the blonde girl gasp a little, then she whips up a peachy little hook to the model’s jaw, almost flooring her again. Now Alex is forced to hold on, gets roughed up a little inside at close quarters, but Jaye isn’t hurting her inside, just making her uncomfortable, and she leans on the brunette as she tries tiring her now.

Round 9

Both girls must be tired, but Jaye’s finding some strength from somewhere, and she’s slamming more punishment into the blonde’s body, and it’s taking a big effort for Alex just to stay upright now, the model again clinching hard. Jaye hasn’t got the strength left to push Alex back, and has to await for the referee, then gets tagged to the mouth on the break, and now she looks angry! Jaye’s pouring forwards on Alex now, and she’s wiping hooks from both hands into the model’s face, and Alex is looking groggy – Jaye rips a left hook into her face, follows up with a right, and Alex staggers backwards, can’t hold on this time, because Jaye’s pasting her from range, and suddenly the blonde’s face is looking swollen and bruised, and Jacobs just isn’t backing off, slamming her gloves into that face, and the round ends with Curran eating another big left hook.

Round 10

Jaye just needs to stand up for three minutes to win this fight, but she wants to win in style, and she rips into Alex again, but Alex stands up and punches her right back! Now Jaye’s the one holding on, but Alex whips an uppercut between her defensive gloves, and Jacobs is on the floor! Jaye gets up at 6, but she’s staggering slightly, and Alex comes looking for her – and finds her, too, all right hand now the blonde as she hooks Jaye to the face, and she’s cut her around the left eye as well, the blood trickling down the actress’ cheek. Alex hammers two left hands into Jaye’s body now, and those punches have hurt the girl, and Curran is desperate to finish Jacobs off, the actress barely able to stand - let alone take this punishment, but Alex is running out of time if she’s to win this. Alex nails Jaye again with a left uppercut, and there’s the right hook, and Jaye’s flat on the canvas – out! But the referee’s saying ‘no’! He says the bell rang before Jaye hit the floor. This will cause many arguments, but Jaye Jacobs has no idea what’s going on – she’s still unconscious, and will be carried from the ring whilst Alex Curran screams injustice, because the result is declared:

Jaye Jacobs beat Alex Curran on points.

So Jaye Jacobs will be fighting Erika Heynatz for the BBU welterweight title, but an angry Alex Curran is claiming she should be getting that matchup, and it’s a long time before she leaves the ring.

VT would later show that the referee was correct in saying that the knockout punch landed after the bell, but it is unlikely that Alex will ever accept that.
