BEFORE: (Original air-date: JACK REACHER premiere night) Former Bond Girl and elegant blonde Rosamund Pike hand-picking Emily for a premiere night showcase...veteran Brit feels she has the advantage over her younger rival. "I deserve every bit the push Blunt has been receiving," sniffs Pike in prefight. "We've both been in Hollywood Blockbusters - though she's never been close to Bond Girl status - but I feel as though I've been overlooked in the rush to Emily. I'm bigger than her: I've fought lightweight in the UK several times...I feel at bantam I will overmatch the poor girl. Here's my apologetic face (grins broadly)."

Blunt eager to take down a UK rival and further establish herself, but cognizant of Rosamund's quality all the same. "Pike is well-respected throughout the UK," Emily insists. "She's never been a dominant fighter, but there was a time when many of us thought that she - not Gemma Arterton - might be the next Big British Thing, you know? Fight drifts to ropes as Pike systematically cuts off the ring...final minute sees her lay siege - whack-batting Emily wide right/lefts to waist; hanging around on front (left) leg to catch Em the delayed left hook to chin. Blunt wobbled down the stretch, getting outhit...Pike staying disciplined, maintaining enough distance to extend on rangy licks. At the bell - tuff left/right bites at Emily's taut tummy: Pike all glacial blue-eyed glaring as she steps back.

R2: Blunt up-tempos, outclasses her rival midring. Circling counter-clockwise on stiff-steppin' legs, Emily's pushing off ball of the right (back) foot; jabbing jug and tummy; whipping a wide, straight-arm palm-down right to the Pike left hip; flashing the straight one-two to Rosamund's well protected face; back to the body to reset the pattern. Pike turning and turning in grumpy earmuff, slowly breaking down in the pocket from tart body touches...as Rosamund wears down, Emily's able to penetrate upstairs, scoring to face as well. Bell: Emily upbeat, making aggressive eye contact after one of her best rounds as a pro: Rosamund frowning, concerned, ass-thrashed through 2.

R3: Girls trading jabs, taking turns weaving close to dig tart right/lefts to tight tummies, then bobbing back into the clear while the opponent seeks to answer. Spirited, spanking stuff - both tummies readily available as fighters assume high-guard postures on defence, leading to crowd-pleasing, meat-digging impacts. Midway through, Emily breaks-rhythm after punching Rosamund's gut: Blunt bobbing on the spot, weight forward over her front (left) leg...as Pike opens to deploy, Emily fits a clever delayed-action left uppercut clean to chin, pre-empting Pike...Rosamund's torso slack and sloppy on her hips as her hands drop...SHE'S HURT! Emily resets by pushing-hands on Pike's chest, sorting her, then: short-chopping right ejects Pike's mouthpiece; slicing left uppercut picks up her chin; digging left fits snug to sternum; right hand kisses across her mouth and TIMB-ERRRRR! Rosamund crashing to her back, backs of her hands clattering to canvas just above her head, lips parted, lashes fluttering...SHE'S OUT! KO3 in sensational fashion, Emily Blunt!

After: Blunt annihilating what many had thought of as almost a step-up test in Rosamund Pike...Emily off to a flying start in her brief FCBA career. "I was surprised I got to her so fast," Emily gushes in postfight, cheeks flushed with the thrill of victory. "She's a very disciplined, technical fighter, so we wanted to get to her body, break down her form and get her breathing hard early...that turned out to be the perfect Rosamund-busting fight-plan. I looked her over at the end of the second, and she was really hurting. Seeing the doubt in her eyes lit a fire under me and I just poured it on after that. I'm thrilled: blowing the doors of Pike is a big confident boost to me, and I'm hungry for more. People can just check my fightsite for my outstanding challenges, and hopefully I can start brawling my way up the foodchain!"
