During R1: Yvonne striding leggy to midring, immediately stitching crisp left jabs to Krupa's face while wheeling clockwise: Straho getting her poke from an extended arm position - just darting her mitt the last few inches to target. Krupa hittable - dukes at her chest as she's crouching forward: everything about her says stalk-and-slug. Takes Krupa a minute to find range, catching Vonnie a looping overhand right to scalp...Strahovski stagger-steps out of it, forced to rejig on the spot: initiative passes to Joanna. Krupa lunging in off Vonnie's left flank with a swinging low-slung left hook sweet to trunks...Strahovski shouting in pain, showing cringe-face as Krupa embraces from the flank, bodying Vonnie to ropes. Cheap shove and slug from there - Krupa's left palm pushing Vonnie's head back by the chin or forehead; Krupa right forearms bashing at Strahovski's exquisite breasts; Krupa right hands burying into flat Aussie gut. Strahovski pitching forward "UHH!" into Krupa's strong arms: Joanna ragdolls her rival back into ropes, pouring on the hurt. Down the stretch, Krupa shows a kind of brutal "finesse": reaching under Vonnie's arms to hug her tight/stack her into ropes; releasing to pump Vonnie-gut hup-hup-hup; hugging up under the arms for control and position. Bell: Strahovski all disheveled and whining...Krupa forcing classy blonde girl into a barbaric slugfest early.

R2: Vonnie leggy to midring, once again establishing the stitching jab with the left arm pre-extended, wheeling clockwise around the chipping connects...same approach as the first except Straho's dropping in pin-point right hands to back up her jab, keeping Krupa defensive. Joanna showing some head movement, but double and triple spitting jabs find the mark regardless...as Straho's left hands start to make an impression, Joanna moves her mitts to temples. Straho leaning into stiff right hands against Krupa's guard, freezing it in position, then popping hips-right to RIP left hooks in behind Joanna's right elbow. Thick blonde girl absorbs rangy thump with a stoic wince...Strahovski not hurting her girl as yet, but she's tapping the core with authority. Krupa turning on the spot, encircled by Strahovski's sinewy legs...Yvonne just too classy - darting in and out, moving to her left, collecting a methodical shutout.

R3: Similar stuff - Yvonne's legs establishing tactical control midring; that swift, stitching jab vexing Joanna, forcing her to crouch; stiff right hands pre-empting Krupa penetrations, forcing her into eamuff; clean up whip-limbed left hooks carving Krupa to liver/waistline. Becomes routine: Yvonne relaxed in her pivoting, wide stance, dealing leather from her front (left) plant leg, working Joanna over methodical. Down the stretch, Krupa mouthbreathing from clean bodyshots, starting to cramp up...she lunges in sloppy, munching on a glorious Strahovski short left uppercut en-route! KRUPA'S HURT! Joanna picked up tart, sputtering on the spot...Yvonne smirking as she steps to her right - paws her left jab to push Joanna's hands apart, then stitches in a wicked left/right to jug! Krupa howling/crossing wrists at rack...Vonnie has a blank check to lean torso-left, dragging a buggywhip right hand in above Krupa's succulent left hip, then straighten up into left hook across Krupa's left eye. Bell: Joanna rung up and wobbly-butt; Strahovski never lovelier than on the strut back to her corner through 3.

R4: Krupa showing stamina, durability: she shakes off the hurt, storms out of the gate and engages Yvonne in a torrid exchange of rights and lefts midring. Strahovski disengaging/circling clockwise...wisely electing not to stand directly in front of Krupa and trade wallop. Yvonne active however - constantly curling back into Joanna with crashing right hands off the lead left. Krupa brave in the pocket, unflinching in the line of fire: she's answering back wide right hand roundhouses to Vonnie's ribs; trading hooks as the girls recover from respective rights. Difference is STrahovski's footwork: she's dictating when and where the exchanges take place, disengaging at her leisure. Krupa heavy handed and determined, but no wizard at cutting off the ring...she's following Vonnie around, walking into punches, and down the stretch, it costs Joanna. Vonnie sliding back to create a little trap-gap; pre-empting Joanna when she wades in via the jagged little left uppercut to chin, pivoting sweetly clockwise around the scoring blow. Joanna sputtering out of orbit all wobbly-butt and whimpering...Yvonne hops her down, goes at those world class jugs LEFT/RIGHT/LEFT - giving them a good sprucing up at the bell! Joanna whining, hugging her money-makers in outrage; Yvonne making glaring eye contact as if to say: "That's for the low blow!"

R5: Strahovksi staying leggy, using the ring, showing good respect for Krupa's slugging power. Vonnie's left jab snaking out and stitching at face/jugs with impunity...Krupa basically trying to walk-through the poke, only to take a drilling right hand, or that wicked left uppercut. Not a shutout - Joanna occasionally spooking Vonnie out of her stance with a weird looping, overhand left hook, or a thumping right hand wide to ribs...Strahovski able to leg away from these difficulties, always renegotiating terms in her favour.

R6: Same again: Vonnie in charge of Krupa; Joanna having spot-success, but unable to sustain violence against Yvonne's leggy ring generalship.

R7: Vonnie stitching jabs/dropping a right hand at the open...Krupa thinks it's over, bobbing her way forward, but Straho changes the script. Yvonne stands her ground, drilling in an extra one-two: spanking concussion against Krupa's face buckles her knees, grinds her movement to a halt. ANOTHER swift, stitching one-two punches Krupa's shell-shocked face, then that straight left hand seeks out jug with a pair of taps, followed by a WHACKING right slap-chop! Joanna "UH-H!" crossing wrists at rack and blundering forward: Vonnie fades back half-a-step; fits oncoming swimsuit model for a goregous short left uppercut to chin, pivoting sweetly around Krupa's right flank and JOANNA GOES DOWN! Krupa pitching rump-high to knees and face - momentarily frazzled as Yvonne lifts her mitts and STRUTS to neutral corner. Krupa up at 8, but knock-kneed: bully not used to be hurt, she's blinking away tears of confusion and rage. Resume: Yvonne heartless for the finish - stepping-to in wide stance, letting her hands lash away in supple slap-chops - beating Krupa about her head and breasts as she spills to her right along ropes. Yvonne stepping-with, keeping mitts on meat...poor Krupa alternately trying to push Vonnie away or showing a helpless face-in-gloves front - Straho just strapping away, twisting lithely into supple shots. It's all too much...Krupa cringing butt-in-ropes/face-in-gloves - picking her left knee up as she turns her right flank into the strands...ref tackles Vonnie away as she's lathering her rival without pity. TKO7 Yvonne Strahovski.

After: Strahovski all heaving chest/flaring nostrils in the aftermath...classy win shows she CAN handle the hamhanded brawlers when she's on her game. "Krupa's a cow," the usually congenial Strahovski snarls in postfight. "She went trunks at her earliest opportunity: she's another Catherine Zeta Jones in cheaper clothes. I wouldn't have it from her - I would not be bullied by this woman. My legs dictated to her all night long, and my hands broke her down. That's as it should be: sluggers will get lucky once in a while, but for the most part, I feel I own the ring against this kind of girl!"
