These two pretty blondes are both inconsistent – they are both capable of good things, but lack concentration and application at times.

Jeanette is wearing a pale green bikini tonight, with Mollie in a white bikini top and matching microskirt.

Round 1

Both girls start the fight in rather a hurry, and they swap good punches straight away, and it’s an even start as they clips each other to the jaw, but Mollie gets through well with a nice, straight jab, and she’s looking the better puncher now, sending Jeanette backwards again with a left, and she’s half grinning as she closes in on the German, but the grin leaves her face quickly as Jeanette fights back, coming off the ropes, and hooking Mollie to the cheek with her left glove, and now she’s giving it to King – both hands now – and the Brit’s backing away, gets hit to the body as well, but recovers in the closing seconds, again getting her jab in between Jeanette’s gloves to find her mouth.

Round 2

Jeanette seems to have been hurt in that late flurry, and she’s not looking too keen to mix it with Mollie now, with the younger girl landing some good punches right in her mouth and around her cheeks – and she’s put the German on the floor! Jeanette seems to be OK, and is up at 7, with Mollie coming in to batter her if she can. Jeanette’s recovering quickly, though, and she’s giving Mollie as good as she gets now, exchanging a couple of shots, and she’s landing to Mollie’s body, looking good as the Brit backs off, and the German girl’s ending this round on top, pounding away at King’s abs,

Round 3

The girls trade again, with Jeanette landing a good right hook, then getting tagged with a swift one-two form Mollie, and she backs away, the singer moving well. She moves in on Jeanette when the older girl’s backed up to the ropes, starts to wind herself up – but gets sucker punched! Jeanette was waiting for her, and she’s picked her off so easily, sending her backwards with a great left hook, and she gets through to her again, the Brit tripping backwards into a neutral corner, and Jeanette’s working on her right there, Mollie trapped as the German thumps her around the ribs, the older girl not allowing her any respite as she claws her way back into this fight.

Round 4

Mollie seems to have recovered from that battering to her body, and she’s right back at Jeanette again, hooks her girl to the ribs, closes in on her, and looks for the uppercut to stun her girl. But she’s been suckered again! Jeanette bangs her left, right, left, and Mollie’s on her knees on the canvas, looking awkward, not sure what’s going on, getting to her feet at 7, but facing a more aggressive Jeanette now, the German girl belting her god and hard as she traps King to the ropes, the pretty singer looking beleaguered, as the shots whack into her ribcage, but she keeps her guard up, keeps her chin tucked in, and weathers the storm.

Round 5

Jeanette’s in control of this fight now, and she’s kind of pushing Mollie around the ring, with the younger girl clearly in some discomfort as Jeanette belts her in the boobs, making her yelp. Backwards goes Mollie, flailing her arms in defence as Jeanette slams punches into her ribcage, working the Brit around the ring, getting her backed up to the ropes, and she drills her to and fro with hooks, nails her with a right, and Mollie’s on the floor again, mewling as she gets to her feet at 7, and Jeanette works on her again. This is good stuff from Jeanette, and she’s hurt Mollie again, the Brit clinching at the close of the round, a graze under her right eye leaking blood.

Round 6

Jeanette is well on top now, and she’s soon into her routine again, bouncing her punches off the younger girl’s body as she sends her back into her own corner, then closes in on her, unloading neatly. But Mollie isn’t looking like she’s being hurt by Jeanette’s efforts, and she’s starting to counter punch when the older blonde starts to leave gaps for her, and she’s maybe tiring a little, with Mollie landing more often. But Mollie’s careless, leaves herself open, and Jeanette tags her with a super little left hook which wobbles the taller girl, who holds and clings on. The referee pulls the girls apart, and now Mollie sets the agenda, hurts Jeanette with two hard right handers, and has the older girl puffing at the bell.

Round 7

Jeanette still comes out looking good, but Mollie’s standing up to her now, and she returns the German’s punches with her own, seemingly harder ones. It’s Jeanette now who’s going backwards on unsteady legs, and she’s got her left glove homing in on her face, reddening the tiring girl’s cheek up for her, and Jeanette’s the one holding and clinching, with Mollie getting past her defensive gloves, and Jeanette stumbles, eats a right jab to her mouth, then gets a heavy blow to her belly, and she’s struggling to stay with Mollie now, the Brit pushing her back, bullying her, and she’s making the girl’s face lump up as she gets through with her hefty hooks.

Round 8

Mollie’s really setting to it now, and she’s on her toes, demonstrating her greater fitness, and this is also helping her with her height and reach advantages, letting her crack punches into Jeanette’s face, a face now smeared in blood from her nose, and she’s beginning to crack under pressure. Mollie gets through again, lands a sharp right hook, and it’s got enough on it to have Jeanette on her butt, the girl shaken, and a little dazed, but up at 5, insisting she’s OK. But Mollie can sense that the strength’s draining from her opponent, and she wipes her head back and forth with a good combination, Jeanette’s knees giving a little shimmy, then she gives her the left hook, and Jeanette’s down again, the girl struggling to beat the count at 8, and she might not last the round – that’s the bell, though, so she does.

Round 9

Mollie seems to have heaps of energy left, but poor Jeanette’s spent, and she’s getting beaten up as the round starts, a cut opening on her swollen right cheek, and Mollie’s doing everything she can to knock the German out here. But Jeanette’s not accepting this and the girl’s defending herself well, not throwing too many punches in response to Mollie’s attack, but at least stopping the Brit from inflicting further damage, and she’s doing what she can to clinch and spoil. Mollie’s starting to look frustrated, unable to land her best punches, and she needs to be careful, although Jeanette’s possibly concentrating so hard on survival she won’t be able to take advantage of the singer’s shortcomings.

Round 10

Credit to Jeanette! Despite the beating she’s taken in the last two rounds, she’s taking the fight to Mollie, cuffing the girl with punches from either side, but there’s not enough power in them, and Mollie’s pushing her back, smacking left hooks across her face at will, and sending her backwards and into the ropes. Jeanette’s face is now bleeding quite freely, and she must be having difficulty seeing some of Mollie’s punches, but the girl’s still in there, clinching, spoiling, surviving really. Mollie really wants to put her down and out, but she’s running out of gas as well, now, and the final 30 seconds or so see the pair of them leaning against one another, embracing at the bell.

Result: Mollie King beat Jeanette Biedermann on points.

Mollie goes to Jeanette’s corner after the decision, and insists the girl joins her in accepting the applause – good to see in the BBU, where post fight humiliation.

As for the fight itself – Mollie King did OK, no more than that.
