BEFORE: "Bonzo women have been very successful against Theron," a confident Katrina reminds press in prefight. "We're 2 for 2 against her in Crusade bouts, and obviously I want to keep that ball rolling. I feel like I prepared well for Charlize by raiding deep into lightweight territory: I took down A+ names; I proved that I can hang with quality, and to be honest, I feel like Charlize is more of a power lightweight than a true welter...just like the women I took down!"

Theron non-plussed: bratty Kat ruffling golden feathers with her brazen 'tude going in. "Law did very well against what I like to think of as 'speed' lightweights," Theron says at podium, "but when she took on a woman configured along Charlize Theron lines, we saw Katrina get exposed. As for me not being a legit welter...that's total crap. I've dominated women from 160 to 120 - a greater span of weight than any other fighter in history. Law gets billed as a giant killer, but I'm not impressed: Peregrym and Biel couldn't do what I'm doing, and fighting them can't prepare you for facing me in the ring!"

During R1: Theron hopping-to in wide stance - right near her cheek as she pings range-finding jabs; easy loping action to her gait as she shifts in, out and around. Law bobbing either side of poke, hands at her chest - she's looking to make CT miss, then jump at her chin with either mitt. Law getting the better of it...Theron being a bit too methodical, pushing the jab rather than sticking it; not showing enough of the right hand. Law countering effectively as a consequence - scoring several free-swinging connects flush to jaw - single-shot rights or lefts timed inside or over the Theron jab. Down the stretch, Law gets into Theron legs and buns when she puts hands together: cracking counter-right over the jab startles CT; swinging left toggles chin, has Theron tottering on her heels, blinking in swoon at bell.

R2: Theron stepping in the jab early, driving Law back, but Katrina scooting to her left manages to circle-out and re-negotiate initial conditions. Law's handspeed proving troublesome: she's countering like a champ, really pasting lefts and rights against Theron's jawlines after slipping Charlize' jab...blonde frowning, hopping forward stubborn, but not improving the balance of trade. Down the stretch, Law bends into tight-arc looping rights to head, bashing CT groggy to ropes: brunette able to set up rough inside - head under Theron's chin; forearms braced on belly to push CT's rump into ropes, then; RIPPING side to side right/lefts, smashing at Oscar-winning waistline. Law really getting into Theron's core here - brunette twisting side to side, snapping her fists through to her own chest after hot contact with golden beef.

R3: Theron hopping-to in wide stance; putting the stiff 'A' jab on Law; following up with straight rights, and if Law doesn't bail out; lashing a limber delayed-action hook up into breadbasket. Theron much better this round - taking canvas from Katrina; pounding right hands in support of the jab, denying Law easy counter opportunities; snatching body shots really licking in there tasty, snapping at beef. Katrina grumpy, trying to circle-out to regroup, but Theron leggy in pursuit, keeping Kat under rangy pressure.

R4: Law spitting a doubled-up approach jab...she drives CT to ropes early, fights off her chest bell to bell. Theron in strong A-frame stance, comfy against the ropes: she's showing elbows in/hands up with palms out, laying back into ropes to draw Kat into clinches; cuffing at Law's ears with either hand; lapping dip-and-lick uppercuts - left uppies off the left plant-leg; right uppies off the right. In exchange for this, Kat's offering bruising pressure - butting into Theron with head and shoulders; punishing the breadbasket; clobbering the pecs via fists and forearms in tight. Most of Law's work dedicated to breaking down sleek blonde body, but the occasional looping haymaker caroms off Theron's head...Goddess taking shots like a champ, but it's good solid contact...Law able to outwork her foe for points in the fourth.

R5: Theron busier with the jab - keeping it in Law's face, forcing brunette to bob and weave. Theron dropping right hands with authority - not always scoring, but bashing Law off-balance, forcing her into retreat. Charlize doing her most venomous work to the body - bending her knees/arching her back/popping hips-right to lash that whippy, rising left hook hot to belly, snatching the mitt back quick on follow through. Law grimacing, cringing after body lick: blonde-girl getting in their stout, making 'em count through 5.

R6: Theron continues to walk Law down behind the jab - menacing her with slinging right crosses; gutting her with snap-snatching lefts underneath. Rangy pasting taking its toll...Law mouthbreathing, roaming away from Charlize to regroup. Kat clever in spots, drawing Theron to her with feigned retreats, making blonde give up some height, then timing her for blunt right hands to chin. Theron's legs hold up well under crashing pot-shot connects...balance of the round all Charlize as she's touching Katrina up through 6.

R7: CT's been diligent with that jab...Kat's face starting to bust up as blonde girl continues to pound away lefty. Theron content to circle to her left, showcasing the jab...she's pounding away methodical on the left eye, nose and mouth of Kat, sticking her cruelly. Down the stretch, Theron has Law reduced and punchy...blonde right hands begin cascading onto brunette chin - rocking Law to her foundations, though strong brunette legs hold up well to bell.

R8: CT stalking Law now, jabbing her at will...tasty one-two at minute mark spanks face flush and DOWN GOES KAT! Picture perfect lithe extension as Theron drills home righty...she shows a satisfied smile trotting to neutral corner as Kat stays on bended knee for 8 before rising. From there it's grim retreat and methodical punishment for Kat...she's flinching now, back of right hand at left cheek/left under right elbow, ducking and dipping as Theron rakes away long one-twos. Charlize walking Law down, pounding away...strapping one-twos up top set up those succulent, snapping lefts to body, bunching Law up with hurting winces, wicking away more and more of Law's reserves through 8.

R9: Shut out Charlize: Theron walking her foe down, beating her up systematico now. Jab punching again and again at drowsy brunette face ejects Law's mouthpiece a minute in; subsequent jabs/sliding right crosses close the left eye. Drilling one-twos spanking at Law's head, buckling her legs...time and again she spills along ropes on the verge of going down, righting herself just in time to cover up and absorb thick body licks for her trouble. Law cringing from pain now, waving the odd desperate counter, but CT all loose, limber and relaxed - easily leaning away from trouble, then swaying back in to make Law pay for trying. Bell: Theron grinning, snapping the back of her right hand off Law's ass as girls pass en route to separate corners...just like taking a wet-towel to a girl in the locker room!

R10: Theron turns flat-footed slugger - walking into Kat one-two, palming the shoulders, pushing her off, then walking her down again. Straightforward approach giving Law the chance to compete...her fists once again find Theron's jawlines with short, clubbing swings, but brunette too far-gone, too punished at this point to generate Goddess-crushing force. Theron's advance inexorable - she drills down on Kat, beating her face into a shade of raw-steak via rangy one-twos, then trying to drop Kat with vicious left uppercuts amidships! Law's sturdy legs won't give blonde girl satisfaction of a knockdown, but it's a turrible beating to bell. Theron grinning, lifting her mitts with seconds left, nodding at her badly depleted foe as Kat's swaying on the spot, doing well just to keep mitts-at-cheeks. Comes back UD10 wide, Charlize Theron.

After: Another Crusader falls to a vengeful Goddess - Theron posting perhaps her best, most comprehensive victory thus far against the willing and able Katrina Law - breaking the "curse of Bonzo" in the process. "She didn't like my body shots one bit!" Theron grins in post fight - face scuffed and puffy from strong Law connects, but Golden attitude undiminished. "I battered this one - took my time with her...it was important that she suffer, so her compatriots could see the hopelessness in her eyes. These women are now in rout. They no longer dream of glory: all they hope for is to avoid punishment and humiliation. I can see the quit in their eyes, shining like tears. I don't blame them for losing heart: the fury of a Goddess is a terrible thing to behold!"

Theron's insinuations gain credibility in the following days, as bitter recriminations start to ripple throughout the Crusade. Rebecca Romijn breaking ranks, airing her grievances in BLONDE! Magazine...she attacks the efforts of (in her words) the "grinders", citing their failure to impose maximum attrition on Charlize. Romijn particularly venomous regarding BONZO-gym girls, claiming women like Govich and Bjorlin were in it only for "personal glory", going for cheap knockout wins rather than making the necessary long-term investments in Theron's legs.
