Jade Ewen has made a good start to her career, unbeaten in 4, with Kara having her first fight since being quickly beaten by Penny Higgs in December.

Jade looks keen, entering the ring, and wearing a white bra and panties outfit – here’s Kara in scarlet silky bra and panties with black edging.

Round 1

I thought Jade would get stuck into Kara, but she’s showing her plenty of respect, and Kara returns that respect, but neither girl seems to be throwing punches yet. Kara uses the ring well, doesn’t she? She’s dancing clear of Jade, using the reach advantage she has, and not letting the singer land anything damaging, wary of her reputation, and she’s sticking to her tactics well, but here comes Jade now, and that’s a good shot from her, a right hand ion Kara’s jaw, and now she’s ripping into Kara’s ribs, and she’s hurt the older girl, knows it, too, I reckon, and she’s giving Kara a hard time – that’s the bell.

Round 2

And Jade’s getting inside Kara’s reach here, getting into the taller girl straight away, and she looks like she’s getting home with those raking hooks in the ere, as Kara’s screwing her eyes tight shut each time one lands. Kara’s not really looking like she wants to fight Jade at the moment, and the singer’s giving her a lot of punishment inside, and Kara’s taking it all, I’m afraid, looking wide open to the body at all times, getting through her weak defence, and she’s hurting her – this kid has a real punch on her! Kara looks really unhappy at the end of the round, complaining of low blows – sorry, honey, there weren’t any low blows, just hard shots to your body!

Round 3

Jade’s really active from the start of the round, and she’s hurt Kara with cruel left hook to the body, really got the actress with that one, I think! Kara’s whingeing again, but the ref waves her away, and Jade’s all over her, really, and Kara’s guard’s nowhere, she’s getting tagged to the face now, wailing a little, and she’s on the floor! Kara Tointon just went down like a sack of potatoes, but that wasn’t a big punch from Jade, she just doesn’t want to fight her! Kara’s got to her feet, but it’s a slow process, and Jade’s looking for her, going for the finish, I think – but she’s over eager, and for the first time she takes punches from Kara, starts to look like a rookie now, and she’s on the ropes, getting picked off a bit, I have to say, a little worn by the end of that round.

Round 4

I thought Kara might be more aggressive this time, but she’s still standing back, maybe thinking Jade will make another mistake, perhaps? But Gail Kim gave her potential star flyweight a lecture between rounds, and Jade’s more controlled, giving Kara some beats to the body again, and Kara’s just bumbling backwards to the ropes, with Jade now raising her attack to the older girl’s face – Kara’s not looking good, she’s taking a lot of shots, and she’s down again! Jade looks pretty damned perky out there, and Kara’s just laying there on her back, getting counted out!

Result: Jade Ewen knocked Kara Tointon out in round 4.

As far as I’m concerned, Kara Tointon quit! I’ll fight her if she wants – she badmouthed me after I lost to Roxanne Pallett, so let’s see what you’ve got, quitter!
