BEFORE: "They're a shattered force," Theron grins in prefight. "Losing's contagious, and they've got a bad case of it. It's just a matter of riding the stragglers down, and mopping them up. Mandy's not bad - workmanlike - never really lived up to her potential with us, but she's got some skills. I'll touch her early, see which way she wants to break, then push her in that direction!"

Moore calm, upbeat at podium...part of the reason she's been moved up in the order. "Unlike a lot of these girls, I'm very familiar with Charlize in the ring," Mandy relates, reminding all of her time with the Krushers. "There's things you can do to frustrate her - ways of getting under her skin. I've got the power to hurt her, but it's really more a matter of managing her, getting her off her toes and making her muck it out in the trenches. I do that, I'm gonna be just fine!"

DURING R1: Theron out in an "Oscar" look - de la Hoya that is: right foot well back, heel off canvas; both hands up, palms-out around shoulder-height...she's pumpin' the jab early. Mandy bobbing in crossed-arm on approach, weaving the poke, hooking wide to chin, then jumping in to hold. Theron frowning, barking at ref for quicker breaks...she's bogging down in Mandy's embrace. Moore patiently executing - jabbing to CT's tummy while Theron's paintin' the pate with HER jab; sweeping hooks from the bob, then tying up/walking blonde-girl to ropes for break. Midway through, Theron chopping the right lead/batting the hook...she gets beat to the hook by clever Mandy as brunette times blonde to perfection. Big head swivel...Theron staring as her legs rebel...she stumbles wobbly-butt to ropes, right elbow over top strand for support. MANDY'S ALL-IN! Moore attacking from port/rear - right hands bashing Theron behind the head as she's drooping sideways against ropes. Mandy bodies up, pressing CT's back flat to ropes, then pumps tummy both hands hup-hup-hup...blonde girl blurting in pain, draping arms around Moore's head/shoulders in woozy embrace. Moore brawny in the grasp, reaching up into the limp clinch to push CT back over top rope, then BASHING AWAY TO GLORY! Mandy slopping it to bedazzled Charlize...right hands crashing close to chin; left forearms clapping across jug; right forearms spanking jug; left hands across face. Theron out on her feet, getting ragdolled, slopping one arm or the other around Mandy's shoulders in vain attempt to slow the beating, but Mandy's too violent! Moore all a-jiggle, forcing herself at Theron, stacking and battering her and THE REF STEPS IN! Good Lord: TKO1 as Theron's battered defenceless!

After: Mayhem in the ring - Academy fighters and officials trying to get at the ref...but so are the Crusaders! Once again, Theron goes out early in a defeat, avoiding the lengthy siege called for by CZJ and other planners...neither side pleased as CT is gingerly led to her stool for undignified smelling-salts and reflex-exam. "Told you I could get to her!" Moore beams in postfight, glowing with her greatest result since slugging big Nat Henstridge to the brink of retirement with a similar early exit. "I'm surprised they stopped it - Theron's taken a lot more punishment than that and come back in the past...I don't think it's right. They should have let me work on her. TKO1 over Theron sure looks good on the resume though...this is gonna be huge for me as I get back into the mix at welterweight!"
