Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars) versus Claire Holt (Vampire Diaries)

Fight #5

Before: So, it's all come down to this. With two evenly matched 'stables', there was always the possibility of it coming down to a final match, which was the reason a tiebreaker match was added as the Pretty Little Punchers have improved since being swept by HISC in their debut. It's been a wild, surprising and enjoyable war between the two television shows thus far and nobody predicts anything less in this finale between highly regarded ingenues. Certainly, not the two participants themselves, who appear more than ready for the spotlight.

Claire Holt, from The Vampire Diaries, is supremely confident coming in as she is on a several fight winning streak with serious momentum and plans to add one more to that number tonight “Sorry, Shay , but there is absolutely no way I'm going to be denied. Not tonight. I know I can't go undefeated forever and I am certain I'll lose someday, but it won't be to Shay and it sure as hell isn't going to come tonight. The Vampire Diaries will triumph over the Pretty Little Liars and then, we will be the ones in charge. Pretty Little Punchers will just have to recognize that!”

Shay Mitchell, from Pretty Little Liars, stands nearby rolling her eyes and is clearly not impressed, “The only thing we recognize here is inferior talent, both in the ring and on screen, with the Pretty Little Liars. The only thing I recognize is that Clair has gotten wildly out of control from her days when she appeared on our show. It was only for a five episode arc but she was completely insufferable the entire time. As set alpha, I had to put her in her place and then, she ran off to the Vampire Diaries because she couldn't handle us. Tonight, I'm going to make Claire remember that and then, the Vampire Diaries will recognize us as superior!”

Both fighters filled with nervous energy and anticipation, though holding their composure very well despite the high stakes involved with the upcoming match and a victory for their respective tv shows on the line. Claire wearing a bright red bikini with matching gloves – hair in a tight fighting ponytail; Shay clad in a purple bikini with matching gloves and hair also in a ponytail. Lots of tension and shoving prior to to the match as the referee warns them both.

R1: It's a frisky first between the two as Holt comes out jabbing at Mitchell across her jugs mid-ring and whipping her other glove to slam in shots to Shay's abs in the hopes of bodying her back. A defiant Shay goes on the offensivee with a strong right hand, combined with a quick hook that clouts across her chest or hammers into her opponent's ribs. It's strong slugging between the two of them, but the judges award it to Shay, who takes a close round.

R2: Holt not happy about the outcome of the first, springing across the ring as she looks to catch Shay along the ropes she can even get out of her corner. Shay managing to get in some good hooks to body, but Holt just bullying her backwards like a blonde bulldozer into the ropes as she traps Shay along the ropes. Mitchell is caught off guard but gets up her guard, preventing the worst of it as Clare batters her with agression across the waist and jug. Clare responds well with a shutout here in the second.

R3: It's another determined outing between the two of them as Shay comes out swinging, swinging that right hook down low into opposing tummy and then switching to the uppercut to hammer into Holt's face. Clare pushing in to respond to back up Mitchell via picking her up with clouting jabs across her cleavage and digging in with some hard leather spanking across her foe's torso. It's a close round, but Shay is the busier and harder-hitting vixen this time around as Shay beats back her foe after the shutout.

R4: Holt surging forward across the ring in furious fashion, sending in some vicious licks down to torso and then following up with an overhand right to send Mitchell's head whipping to the side. Shay is clearly dazed, staggering backwards and Holt wades inside to clean up, pushing Mitchell's arms out of the way and pounding away at her torso. But, Shay proves stubborn as she prevents Holt from cleaning up on her as Mitchell's mitts bounce off of her head and thump down into her foe's flank in retaliation. Shay provides stern resistance to Holt's clean up attempt, but it's Clare's round.

R5: Clare comes forward out of her corner to capitalize on managing to hurt Shay in the last round, just moving to the middle of the ring as she works behind that jab and looking to batter her opponent against the ropes. Feeding her a steady diet of right hands, Clare is the aggressor throughout the round. Shay keeps up with good legwork, maneuvering around Holt and ripping her with hooks around her waistline and torso, occasionally clubbing her across her chest. But, this round is Clare's as she outworks Shay down the stretch, positively sauntering back to her corner.

R6: Both girls pushing in, slugging away to try to push each other backwards. Bumping up against each other with shoulders to try to force the other out of position, it's a battle that takes place in close confines as they trade vicious hooks and ripping at each other with brutal-looking uppercuts in a ferocious exchange. Pushing up against each other in big-girl fashion, but late in the round it's Shay who manages to rock Holt with a right cross that checks into her cheek from the side. Holt is obviously dazed, going wobbly-butt as Shay compresses her backwards to the ropes and lathers her across her head and shoulders. The ref pulls Shay off as that last burst of offense allows Shay to take the round.

R7: Holt immediately brings the fight to Mitchell, just swarming her along the ropes as she ties her up, then bodies her backwards. Once against the ropes, Holt hammers her opponent across the head and shoulders, forcing her to cover up this time as she tries to trap the brunette. Shay tries to fight off of the ropes, providing some resistance with a series of rights and lefts across the blonde's breadbasket. But, unable to get into a rhythm as Holt continues to shove and slug, just crowding in to ram in shots to Shay's tummy and doubling her over. It's a bell-to-bell battering by Claire as she delivers a shutout against the ropes.

R8: Shay and Holt both emerge from their respective corners, stepping in on sturdy legs to lather away at one another. Clare trying to bully Shay backwards towards the ropes again, but Mitchell not having it as the two of them try to brawl inside. It's a bruising two way exchange as Clare keeps ripping at Mitchell's torso and Shay keeps jabbing behind her left jab, then dropping in that right to keep Holt off balance. Both girls circling in the middle of the ring, neither giving way, but Shay methodically keeps using her rangy power to keep Clare from getting into an offense and grinds out a close round over her blonde opponent.

R9: Both girls pounce in, clubbing away at each other with reckless abandon, bitterly bashing at one another's ribs, torso and tummy. Stuffing in shots with determination and ripping away with some overhand crosses trying to loosen the other up, bullying each other back but neither fighter able to take advantage until late. It's a tense 2 way exchange, punctuated by frequent bursts of rights and left, just twisting their torsos to hammer away each other and then in the final minute, Clare rips a right uppercut that knocks Mitchell's head backwards. Holt sends her foe staggering backwards, just pouncing forward to slug and whack her foe to body in rapid-fire fashion. Clare's power allows her to steal the round late and build a little momentum heading into the final round.

R10: Holt looks to build on that momentum as she surges forward insistent and energetic, whacking away with clubbing rights and lefts to brunette tummy, looking to batter her backwards against the ropes. Mitchell stubborn, however, bobbing and weaving, displaying good footwork, avoiding the worst of Clare's initial onslaught. Then, Shay stands to slug with her as she rips her up inside, whacking away at her belly and sending crossing shots across opposing jug. It's a wild back-and-forth affair as slowly but steadily, Shay starts to outwork Holt. Clinching and clubbing, Mitchell establishes a workmanlike pace to just take the round from Clare. Blonde looking a little tired as she is radgdolled back towards the ropes and Shay is on top, stuffing shots to gut at the bell. Ref wrests Mitchell backwards as it goes to the cards. Both girls confident – Shay smug and Clare cocky – but neither too shocked when it comes back with a.....DRAW!!!!!

There is no question of a tie – not with the match and stable war, not to mention pride, on the line. The match will go to overtime – where the two of them will fight standard overtime protocol.

R11: Holt energetic from the bell in overtime, charging across the ring and just bodying Mitchell backwards towards the ropes. Mitchell firing forward with left and rights across blonde tummy, but Clare holding and hitting, just smothering her foe back against the ropes. Holt pushing off all big girl, just whacking away up top across her head and shoulders, putting Mitchell back butt-in-ropes as she absorbs punishment. It's a stunning start for Holt in overtime as she takes her opponent to ropes, then delivers a beating from bell to bell, but Shay not done yet as she shoves Holt backwards and off of her at the conclusion of the round, with both girls glaring at each other.

R12: Mitchell refuses to go down without a fight as the brunette roars across the ring, pumping jabs to Holt's face and thumping in shots to torso. Clare one confused beauty, backpedaling as she suffers under the slugging power of Shay and her brunette foe sets a bruising pace at the start. Mitchell is just bodying her backwards as lanky jabs spank leather into her breasts and upwards across the blonde's face, but Holt remains strong. Clare sponging up shots, then retaliating with some ripping body shots and slipping a fierce uppercut insides that she times perfectly to clip Mitchell's chin. Mitchell's head kicks backwards and Clare hops forward with a hard right cross that swivels the brunette's head. Holt stacking up Shay along the ropes as she hammers her way to glory, just clinching and then working her over to body. Mitchell's pride and sturdy legs keeping her upright, trying to wiggle free as Holt gets on top, but is unable to push Clare off. Clare keeps wading in and slamming in shots with vicious hooks up top and ripping jabs to tummy. Shay visibly hurt, bunching up, fighting back in spurts of offense, but it's all she can do to deny the knockout as Clare is clearly in control. This one goes to the cards again and this time it's no question – Holt wins UD12!!

After: It's a wild scene as the rest of the Vampire Diaries swarm Clare upon hearing the verdict as the cast bounces around the ring in celebration, cheering and whooping loudly. It's in stark contrast to the Pretty Little Liars corner, who come over to hug an obviously shocked and distressed Shay. Heart-breaking stuff really as they all reassure her that she has nothing to be ashamed of and honestly, she doesn't. But, that's not what she hears coming from the Vampire Diaries side of the ring as Clare is just positively smug in victory.

The Vampire Diaries girls swarm forward as Clare looks to put a punctuation mark on this win of hers, with a brawl in miniature occurring between the two shows with Benson scuffling with Dobrev, Accola and Troy tangling and Lucy and Kat shoving at each other. Torrey is the referee, but her attention is forced to focus on Lauren, who is trying to work her way in. Until more referees arrive, this allows Clare to just push her way forward with the rest of the two casts occupied with fighting each other, pushing a teary-eyed Shay backwards into the corner, “You going to cry? You should, Shay! You had every chance to win this stable war for the Pretty Little Quitters and guess what? I took it from you! ” as Clare keeps tugging Shay's head backwards, forcing her to gaze upwards with her watery eyes and Holt meets her with a cold glare of her own, “That's because we're better and I'm better! Go ahead – I want to see you cry, Mitchell!” Shay blinks back tears and refuses to give her rival the satisfaction, instead delivering a hard backhand across Shay's face. Stay steps backwards, rubbing her cheek and then lunges forward to take her opponent on a Walk of Shame, but finally, Torrey is able to put a stop to things before they go out of control. Clare manages to peck a kiss across Shay's cheek before she's pulled backwards, tasting her tears as Holt licks her lips, having made her point.

Shay is helped out of the ring, though refuses to go far, insisting that she wants to watch this and remember it for the inevitable rematch. Nina Dobrev and the rest of the Vampire Diaries cast “assist” the Pretty Little Liars out of the ring, declaring this time is for “winners only!” This allows Clare to talk to the assembled media, declaring herself the winner and even CW hegemon at one point, drawing shocked gasps and outraged protests from Nina and Candice. Clare showing off in the ring, demanding from those gathered around the ring and those other fighters watching at home, “Who is going to handle this, huh? The spotlight is mine now and guess what? I'm not sharing it. Nobody is going to put a stop to my authority and the rest of the division is going to be crushed underneath it, just like we did tonight!” Clare would've kept going on if not mobbed again by her teammates at the conclusion of a huge win and in this case, decisive victory in the stable war.
