Before: Lohan under fire for yo-yoing weight--she makes bantam firm, but she’s been seen much scrawnier poolside, clubside. “When I train I lose a lot of weight and actually have to eat back into the division rather than dieting like most girls,” Lohan explains., “Everything is perfectly safe--I’m not bouncing around on the scales. BSE nutritionists monitor everything--we’re putting the weight in gradually and we know what we’re doing. I’d like to put the emphasis on my fighting and Erika.; This is a big, strong tuff-girl who put Dani Fishel out cold: I can’t afford a single mistake against her.” Christensen quietly confident--when asked if she can put Lohan on her back, Erika responds enthusiastically: “Without a doubt. Look, if I catch Any bantam--ANY bantam--right--she’ll go. Not saying I WILL stop Lindsay, but I’m saying I definitely CAN, and she’s going to have  to cope with that threat all night long.” Linds in jazz print fighting togs,, Erika in sturdy navy bandeau, wet, short battle braid.

During R1,2,3: HARD punching negotiations! Girls are flat of foot, stout of heart, banging away shoulder to shoulder, and when there’s room, really ringing each other up with shellacking hooks and crosses. Both women rocked onto her heels at points, put wobbly butt and shook, but both rallying, responding--real crowd-pleasing back and forth as vixens Take turns backing each other up After 3 heart-pounding rounds of riverboat gambling, Lohan’s corner fed up “Linds--baby, this girl is too big to be messing around with. I don’t want you trading so fat with this chick, you hear me? Use your jab, set her up, place your shots and hove some steppin’--baby come ON--you know what to do!” Erika’s corner comparatively delighted: Lohan’s giving them the shoot out they’d prayed for. “She can’t last like this,” trainer tells a hard-breathing Christensen, “Tit for tat, baby, tit for tat. You can take 2 of hers for every one you bank, baby--just keep pitching and back this bytch UP!”

R4: Lohan executes the fight plan: fight gets easier. Linds still flat footed, but initiating with the jab--Erika lifting her mitts to show barn-door front, waiting her turn: Lohan can slide to either side, making Erika move her feet. Punch output drops, but the net effect is Lohan’s connect percentage rises while Erika’s plummets, Linds dropping tasty straight rights off her jab--partially blocked--then putting the hook on top[. Basic 1,2,3 boxing delivers a clean round for Lohan--corner pleased with the control established. “Now BODY baby, give me some body, OK? This girl’s got her hands up like this (trainer shows hands together up around his forehead), so you bang that ribcage, OK? Show her how its done down there!”

R5,6.7: Increasingly one-sided action for Lohan. Christensen spending too much time behind her guard, waiting her turn--Lindsay jabbing, turning her girl, systematically working her over hip to head. Lohan just steppin’--nothing fancy, no dancing--just back foot/lead foot shuffling, dukes at her chest, keeping Erika pinned down with banging jabs, then fitting the rest of the playbook in. Good spanking leather applied to Erika’s stout ribcage--Christensen taking boldly, but cringing slightly as Lohan puts ginger in stroking body shots, Taking lusty rights and lefts wide and loud to the torso isn’t good for a girl, Lohan establishing dominance in these rounds, punching hard enough to move Erika sideways, hurting her with thumping body work in the seventh.

R8: Lohan cruising: this is what you can do when you’ve established tactical supremacy in a fight. Lohan working at her pace, peppering Erika a chippy jab between her mitts, at her chest, stepping around: Christensen just turning, fronting up to meet the new threat, but never answering back with force, Linds swinging a fat right hand loud to Erika’s shiny flank, sweeping punches in over the hip--Christensen grunting now, chassis bending slightly around the thick, wet impacts--this is good solid work from Lohan. Shutout Lindsay--her first smile of the bout: she’s relaxed, in control, and taking a gutsy Erika apart through 8.

R9: Lohan going for it, jabs setting up right hands--she’s really setting down on the cross when ERIKA BEATS HER TO THE PUNCH! Christensen steps into a short, drifting right, nipping Lohan to the chin--Lindsay’s right sails as knees corkscrew and she SPRAWLS ON HER BACK! Lohan making little sniveling, pouting noises as she desperately tries to roll onto her right side--she’s up and ramshackle at 9--Erika pacing the neutral corner, chin tilted down, eyes looking up through eyelashes with menace, ON COMES ERIKA! Lindsay bleak, hurt--covers up earmuff, buttocks in ropes and Christensen releases the hounds! Big, bashing rights and lefts shatter and clang of Lindsay’s hips, lower back. Robust body-pressing--Lohan stacked flat against the ropes, then walloped--she's skidding sideways along the strands, hungry Erika stepping-with, Erika beats a tuff right hand off Lohan’s paunch, crippling her, then treats herself to one of the proudest racks in the division---a great thumping romp to jug buffets and bumps Lohan’s bulging rack up and down as Chris jumps up in there, LOHAN’S DOWN! Lindsay breathless, quivering on all fours--sheer rampaging attrition has her on the verge--BUT SHE BEATS THE COUNT! Linds swaying, open mouthed, glassy eyed--Erika wades in but the bell sounds to halt the rally--Lindsay led groggy-walking to her stool for Nascar-like repairs.

R10: Erika up off her stool snorting like a bull, battig gloves together--she storms on over to a reeling, fluttery-eyed Lindsay as Lohan shies away to heer right, Lohan’s legs shot--one more good popunch should do her…but she’s mincing, ducking, walking Erika into clinches. Lohan hanging on shamelessly, tieing up behind the elbows, headlocking her doe, Erika wading in without the jab, getting too close--she’s inadvertently cooperating, allowing Lohan to string out the minutes. Erika able to hack at Lohan’s hips in the clinch--Lohan wrapped up damp around Erika’s ribs; Christensen chopping over Lindsay’s arms to work the flanks, Slowly, but surely, Lohan abler to restore order--clinching, holding and hitting, walking Erika into sneaky right hands, then tieing up. Linds able to pull out a round when she’s not at her best survives to take a sturdy UD10 over Erika.

After: Girls hug, shake hands in the aftermath of a nervy slugfest late. Erika chagrined, busted up some, but composed in post fight., “I felt like I was stronger than Lindsay,” Christensen says, “When she traded with me early, I felt like I was getting the better of it, She doesn’t hit as hard as I th9oghht--I mean--I was very comfortable with her power, I honestly didn’t feel she could hurt me. What can I say? She toughed it out--I had her down, but I couldn’t salt her away. You have to hand it to her--she showed a lot of courage tonight. “ Lohan lumpy, frazzled, but delighted: improving technique gave her the duke over a big bantam slugger tonight. “I felt like I got her respect early by punching with her,” Lohan explains, heading off criticism at the pass. “I taught her she couldn’t just walk me down without consequences, I probably hung around toe to toe with her a couple of minutes longer than I needed to--she was hurt in like the first minute--but I just wanted to make my point that I’m strong too, Then I just worked my plan, tapped her my jab, turned her--I mean--this was a totally easy fight for me her hardest shot--a Dani busting punch I believe--and I shrugged it off. It’s never good to get dropped in a fight, but I came off the canvas and acted like a champion--I’m very pleased with my effort tonight!”
