Before: Jolene under heavy scrutiny, fielding constant questions about her mental state in the wake of what most are calling a punk-job loss against Jaime Pressly. “Jaime caught me on a bad night--what can I say?” Blalock shrugs. “She definitely did NOTY punk me--I just didn’t get off against her the way I normally do. I’ve always shown well against Eliza and I wanted a high credibility come-back fight to shut these Tractorpull buzzards up. Everything Pressly took from me, I’ll take from Eliza--don’t worry.” Elizabeth smirking her side of the dais, takes the mike from its stand, puts her left hand in her jeans pocket and slowly walks out in front of podium to stand in front of of Jolene. And Eliza’s just staring, Smirking. Staring, Jolene bewildered, glaring back at first, then…sweating, Jolene subconsciously toying with her gold chain necklace, now starting to avert her gaze, look around the room, glance back at Eliza: yep, Dushku’s still staring. Blalock blurting: “WHAT? Jesus!” as her composure breaks. Finally, when even the press corps is uncomfortable with Dushku’s patience, E struts back to her chair. “Joelene’s finished,” Eliza proclaims, “Once your turn punj, you never go back. And Jolene is 100 punk right now!” Jolene in hulking white sports bra, sporty navy bottoms with thin white fashion belt--Eliza in red leather bikini.

During R1: Dushku gambling, taking the fight to Blalock very aggressively--Eliza obviously trying to employ Pressly’s intimidation tactics. Blalock backing up, using her jab, being tall, but she’s tentative with the right hand--doesn’t want to let it go with mustard. Eliza able to fight her way through to Blalock’s chest and operate inside Jolene’s reach--tart, spanking lefts and rights snatch happily up and down JB’s ribcage, sports bra bunching up under a constant buffeting barrage, slender waist cringing from Eliza’s biting hooks.

R2: More Eliza--very daring as she attacks up the middle behind an upward-slanting jab, daring Blalock to intercept her right hands. Jolene on her heels, can’t commit to the pocket--she’s backing away, getting tagged, getting stampeded to ropes. Eliza working the body with short, snappy punches, then pushing into Jolene with the left shoulder--Dushku getting much closer than usual, getting her body on Jolene, smothering the receipts. Midway through, Dushku dipping right to pull a clanging hook across Jolene’s mouth--Blalock startled, extends her left hand to push and Eliza hacks down over top it a hatchet right to the ear. THERE GO BLALOCK’S LEGS! Jolene stunned, stumbling sideways to the ropes--Eliza just pinning her ears back, leaving her feet to sweep lefts and rights at her foe’s chin--poor Blalock leaning back, arms outstretched AS Dushku pounds away to the bell.

R3: Jolene settling down some, starting to make Eliza pay a heavier price for these gambling rushes. Dushku eating more jabs this round, bogging down in the midrange--Jolene starting to extend on worrisome right hands as Dushku ducks and retreats. Dushku dotting her jab before lancing in-cut and thrust tactics from Eliza as she works her way in, Blalock fighting her a little more consistently. Down the stretch, pay dirt for Jolene: she nails E coming in a lanky right uppercut off the right (Back) foot. As Dushku’s tottering backwards--Jolene able to push weight onto her front foot, lean into a right cross for the first time and WALLOP Eliza upside the head. Dushku put wobbly butt, staggering away from Jolene--Blalock seething, baring her teeth, but not pursing--content to have hurt Eliza and forced her off for the nonce.

R4: Jolene’s reluctance comes back to haunt her. Eliza refreshed sticks to the aggressive game plan--jabs her way in, spanks a tidy right/left to Jolene’s trunks and shoulders Blalock to the ropes. Jolene open mouthed, whining--Eliza all work in there, dipping side to side, rotating her shoulders, clubbing and clouting that long, supple ribcage. Jolene reaching for Eliza, trying to clinch--Dushku brushing Blalock back with jagged uppercuts and grinding tousle-work inside--Dushku using her head and shoulders as well as fists to subdue Jolene inside. Blalock’s buttocks spending more and more time sulking on the ropes--she’s pushed and jostled, belted and smothered--Eliza getting in there with a pretty good Dani Fishel imitation. Down the stretch, it’s all Eliza--big swarming beat down--Dushku able to load up and jump at Jolene--fists bouncing off head, shoulders--hooks bunching up Jolene’s rack and ribs--flat punches mashing her biceps, Terrific pounding beat down--Jolene a confused beauty: arms crossed, elbows up as she weaves slowly back and forth, getting raked. JOLENE GOES DOWN! No one punch does it--Blalock simply wilting to all fours, spitting out her mouthpiece, panting and sobbing as she sits back onto her haunches. SHE’S DONE! Jolene quits on her haunches--Eliza lifts mitts and struts away ther TKO4 victrix.

After: Jolene bludgeoned by a girl she’s always presented real problems for in the past--psychological breakdown more than apparent now as Blalock’s confidence plunges to new lows. “She couldn’t keep me off,” Eliza grins in post fight, white towel around glistening shoulders. “Everyone always says ‘pressure Jolene’ until she knocks you out, but right now--she’s SO hinky! She’s not pulling the trigger at all, I punched right through this girl tonight, and I’m not gonna kid you: I needed that. I’d HATE to be Jolene right now: every two bit gunslinger, every cheap slut and green rookie ingenue’s going to want a crack at her while she’s hurting. It’s worse for her because her whole game is intimidation--now that she’s lost that, every fight is going to be hell until she proves she’s got her stroke back,” Great timing for Dushku--she muscles up, looks dominant on fearsome Jolene--Eliza another intimidator who some had started to question this yearm, starting to get her groove back.
