Before: Nothing but questions for these two. Can Claire handle a fighter with twice as many wins as she has fights? “I can’t get anywhere just looking around the other rookies. After this winter, I’m going to have to look up the food chain. I spent two years on the Australian beach circuit, I’m more than ready to make a name for myself on the sand.”

Leighton’s shown she can handle bantams with wins over Cuthbert & Minka, but also came up short against perennial contender McAdams & big girl Van Camp. Obviously there are limits to how far the so-called Alpha Bantam can go, is Holt just too much for her? “I just love proving people wrong, I’ve been doing it my whole career! She’s made a little bit of a name for herself letting girls climb into her trunks and start swinging, but she won’t be able to do anything to me if I don’t let her!”

Lookout! Looking to sweep O&E and clinch at least a tie for the overall victory. Leighton sporting a dark tan, hair back in a ponytail, black gloves, a light tan bandeau bikini. Claire debuting her beach fighting bikini, gold scale pattern on bra & boy shorts,, wet hair slicked back, white gloves.

R1: Claire rushing Leighton, trying to crowd her but falling prey to Meester’s footwork, Holt finding leaving herself open to opportunistic attacks from all angles. Leighton really baring down aggressively, hard right hands ticketed for Claire's head and a meanspirited jab keeping her off balance. Holt looking uncertain, can't get her feet set, trying to disengage & regroup, only to find Meester at her doorstep. Middle of the round, Leighton starts getting grabby with her left hand, small glove allowing her to grip at Claire’s right bicep while chopping in harsh right hands. Blonde girl punched to ropes, her body turned to the right, left hand up to ward off punches as she's giving it up pretty easy at the bell. Meester punching past the bell, has to be pulled off by the ref as she gives Holt the worst drubbing of her brief career.

R2: Lesson learned. Claire bodies Leighton to ropes, stuffing close-in right forearms while left hand clutches Meester’s right shoulder. Leighton forms crossed arm to protect her torso, stooping forward, Claire pulls her in and down with both hands, then rolls-through on that right-arm european uppercut she‘s been developing, slamming Meester against ropes all loose and stunned, then cleaning up HUGE as Leighton rolls to her right, covers up and GOES DOWN! Meester falls flat on her face, count a formality for a KTFO2 Claire Holt!

After: Claire comes through in the clutch again! For the second time in a month, the young fighter finds herself in a must-win situation, and once again puts together the win! Claire surveys the wreckage of what used to be Leighton Meester, who‘s in no shape to be put through a walk of shame. Two of O&E’s masters of post-fight mayhem are in no condition to give her a hand in putting Meester in her place, and Lima’s about to start her own fight.

A light of recognition dawns on the Aussie blonde as the breeze off the sea brings the sound of Elisha Cuthbert & Minka Kelly squabbling over the prostrate form of Jennifer Love Hewitt. She slides out of the ring next to Leighton, then grabs her by the ankles. The jar as she’s dragged out of the ring does a decent job of bringing Meester to her senses, and she beings to moan and struggle weakly. As she hears the voices of her two stablemates, she begins cursing and thrashing wildly, but she can’t break free until Claire drops her next to the two Lookout! bantams, saying “I think you two will know what to do with this,” before heading back ringside to watch the action as the crowd cheers at the beginning of the Brook/Lima action.
