Before: Tweeden a fixture on the fitness fight circuit, but a reputation as having a sparring partner's mentality often keeps her off the marquis. Doesn't help that she's always on someone else's show, often so that the star can use her to demonstrate holds or punches during the combat training segments. Opportunity against Bell a rare main event for Leanne - nerves could play a big part tonight. Bell in electric blue string bikini, Tweeden in hot pink.

R1: Text book boxing from both girls as Bell puts on a height/reach clinic, just touching Tweeden's face with a long jab, keeping Leanne outside. Leanne stalking, unable to get off as Bell does a beautiful job of punching at the right time/distance to frustrate her opponent.

R2: Second verse, same as the first, Leanne scoring occasionally with right hand leads, but it's Cat dictating pace, using the entire ring and every inch of those long, strong limbs. Tweeden's head popping back with more authority now as Bell finds the range on the A jab, and the fight looks like Bell could win it with her legs/left hand at this point.

R3 Tweeden forced to gamble and it pays off early as she wades in with hands low, drawing the jab, and coming hard over the top with a crashing right to the side of the head. Bell momentarily dazzled, rubber-walking away and taking free-swinging potshots as Tweeden jumps after her. Cat slugging for her life, backs Tweeden up with lefts and rights pitched sidearm to the body, but down the stretch, Tweeden scoops the points with another hard right off the face sending Cat into a swoon at the bell.

R4 Leanne stalking, Bell retreating around the ring, losing some effectiveness in the process. Tweeden punching with Cat, launching the right hand every time she sees Bell's left twitch, and Catherine's face begins to gloss up from the leather. Poor head movement from Bell as Tweeden plays T-ball with opportunistic right crosses.

R5 Cathy back with her legs alive, up on her toes and circling Tweeden, making the jab a factor again. Leanne turning, walks into hard left hands down the pike, and can't get set to launch her counter. Bell retakes the lead on the cards with another tactical round.

R6 Tweeden using an unexpected burst, shoots in on Cat low, and comes up blasting wide lefts and rights to put Bell on the ropes. Cat leaning back, hands out front, and the wide punches slap home, spanking Bell's face from side to side as Tweeden brawls effectively. Cat taking a knee, shakes her head and gets it together, but Leanne won't be denied. Tweeden legging in, swatting a quick timing left to Cat's jugs then coming in over the top with curling right hands to bash Bell to the corner. Beating develops as Tweeden slashes at Bell's breasts and face with all power strokes, leaving Cat cut, dazed at the break.

R7 Tweeden pouring it on, sensing a subpar Bell and catching Cat early with another crashing right on the jaw. DOWN GOES CAT! Bell on her back, this time badly hurt, and struggling to beat the count. Ref sees those glassy eyes, and lets them continue, and a desperate Cat Bell stands her ground and slugs as the crowd goes wild. Toe to toe, Cat slaps and clubs Leanne effectively with sidearm punches out wide - Tweeden overanxious for the stoppage actually gets herself tagged needlessly the rest of the way as Bell shows big-time heart.

R8 Oh Leanne! She swats the left to the breasts and COMES with that right hand, bashing Bell's head flat against her shoulder and putting the big brunette ropeside to open the round. Bell hurting, not responding well, pushing her punches is slowly battered as Tweeden's fitness allows tremendous punch output late. Bell finishing up in a corner is clearly dazed, elbows in, hands at her chest, face getting smacked to either side as Tweeden bends into haymakers at the break. Leanne with a big smile and a skip in her step en route to her corner as Bell slumps in hers.

R9 Leanne meeting Cat at center ring, continues to head hunt effectively, wobbling Bell's knees with every right hand that connects. Bell grimly hanging on, trying to line up the jab, but she's not processing and Tweeden is potshotting with leaping blows from either hand. By the final minute, Bell's expression is blank, her punches lacking any kind of stopping power and Tweeden pitches in a beautiful right hand on the face, lifting her back foot off the canvas to crack Bell hard. Cathy stumbling away, and Leanne steps with her, loading up and heaving in those right hands against the skull to chase Bell into a corner. Cathy leaning forward, ready to go, and Tweeden piles on - left hand swipe to the tits, right hand hard to the jaw - left, RIGHT, left, RIGHT and THE REF JUMPS IN!! Bell reeling, eyes wide and dim, lolls on the ropes as Leanne mounts the turnbuckle directly to Bell's left to roar at the crowd. KO9 Leanne Tweeden.

After: Stunning upset the first for Bell who may have overlooked this girl. Cover of SI adds insult to injury, showing Leanne's pink bikini'd backside right beside Cat's dazed face as Tweeden pumps her fist at the audience. Bell heavily involved in promoting the fight with personal appearances/interviews, may very well have undertrained and it showed as she just couldn't take Tweeden's punches.
