It's the Main Event and the locals are keeping their fingers crossed that they can hold on to their slender lead instead of gifting the visitors a draw. Before Manuela Arcuri took on Laury Thilleman in the Cannes JMD challenge, there wouldn't be a single BBU expert who would have bet against the Italian warrior especially in wake of Karolina Kurkova's poor recent record. But then Manuela had her boobs rearranged by a rampant Thilleman and Kurkova's four fight losing streak doesn't look so fragile anymore as Arcuri seems equally affected by taking such a nasty beating just few days ago. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1

After about ten seconds Manuela fires a one-two combo, hitting Karolina hard to the face, and giving her a cut below the left eye. Arcuri puts her guard up and drops back to get near Kurkova's height and fires a one two to Karolina's stomach. Kurkova covers. Manuela fires a big right hand shot to Kurkova’s face, worsening cut to her eye, making her look bloodier. Manuela goes back to letting Karolina chase her around the ring for the remaining ten seconds of the round, after which Kurkova's corner immediately goes to work on her eye, which is beginning to swell.

Round 2

Manuela takes three steps out of her corner and puts down her guard. Karolina moves in. Arcuri takes advantage of her ringspeed and hits her opponent with a left jab. Manuela sees that Karolina has her arms down and sends a hard right opening a cut on Kurkova's eye. Kurkova is looking bloody and in trouble. Arcuri keeps circling, and she is now in obvious control of the fight. The italian girl moves in, fires a quick left jab, and moves out. Manuela Arcuri's boxing is amazing at this stage, but Karolina Kurkova attempts to react but she's under pressure. The round is over and Manuela continues to dominate the fight.

Round 3

Manuela tries to charge and lands two shots in Karolina's middle section. Manuela gets tagged by a right and left from Karolina. Manuela continues and fires an uppercut that makes contact with Karolina's right breast . Manuela hits her with another left jab, and Karolina moves back after that, clearly hurt and in defensive mode. Once again, for the rest of the round Manuela’s chasing Karolina around the ring.

Round 4

Arcuri comes out firing her left jab that immediately catches Kurkova’s face. She quickly fires a right uppercut. That right uppercut stuns Karolina. Manuela lands a body shot that lands squarely and she’s hitting Kurkova in her totally unprotected stomach. Now Kurkova drops her guard down and the italian girl fires a one-two combo right to her head, again stunning the model. Arcuri takes advantage to start another long-range assault. This time Karolina is visibly dazed. Arcuri fires a hard right and Kurkova falls backwards to the canvas. The ref starts the count but Kurkova is up at 8, but there’s no time for any more action, as the bell rings.

Round 5

Out the girls come, with Manuela looking hard and frisky, and quickly Kurkova gets nailed by a hard right uppercut. Karolina tries to defend herself but she's in pain against the ropes. Arcuri continues the savage body attack and once again Karolina takes some brutal punishment. A hard right uppercut hits Kurkova smack on the jaw. She seems like a punching bag, and she's in trouble, and after a big blow to the nose, Kurkova hits the canvas – she’s out!

So there's finally joy for the home supporters as Latin Union dig themselves out of a big hole when Laura Pausini and Elodie Frege were both smoked by their opponents and while Karolina Kurkova still ponders her chances against the likes of Doutzen Kroes, it was a heavy and painful defeat for her in the Main Event while Manuela Arcuri chased the Laury Thilleman shadows away in the best manner possible by knocking out one of BBU's glamorous models. The Latin Union vs Lioness Club stable war concludes with the Mediterraneans winning 4-2 but it was a hard-fought affair and we haven't seen the last of these two organizations battling it out in the rings for sure.
