Before: Politics of boxing in full swing. Bout promoted by Victoria's Secret as part of the plan to make Stephanie Seymour a star, Hatcher paid a huge appearance fee to take this fight on short notice, be the much smaller girl - Teri can hardly refuse. All the signs of an ugly mismatch, although Hatcher in good shape - Seymour and the money guys confident of victory. Teri in red push up, white lace trim, Stephanie in purple lace push up.

R1: Someone forgot to tell Teri she was a stepping stone. Hatcher gambling to get close, slips Seymour's lanky jab and throws hard right hands at the model's face from close range, palming the left and leaning into the cross as Seymour staggers back. Middle minute, Stephanie can't extend on her punches and looks stunned - Teri setting down into gorgeous right hands on the mouth nearly pounds Seymour into a stupor until the bigger girl clinches. Messy final minute as Stephanie laces Ten's eyes in the wrap, Hatcher jerking her wrist up between Stephanie's legs as both girls draw warning. Teri playing to the crowd at the bell, sends Stephanie sniveling to her corner.

R2: Early clinching gives way to close in slugging from Teri again as she fights inside Stephanie's reach, bending into right hands, and backing the bigger girl up around the ring. By the midway point, Seymour going wobbly butt looks to clinch, but Hatcher has her reeling. Stephanie getting clocked, fades to the ropes and the model stares dumbly as the actress shreds her. Teri palming up with the left, bends into crashing rights hands on the face that smash Steph's head back - model doesn't seem to know what to do. Hatcher putting her wiry body behind every blow, just can't hit hard enough to put Seymour down - Stephanie stunned can't defend herself, takes punches as cuts are opened over both eyes. Vicious action should have been stopped, but VS ref lets it happen - a battered Stephanie Seymour wanders teary eyed to her corner. AND SEYMOUR QUITS! Steph sobbing, her face in ruins, punks out as Hatcher leaps about the ring in triumph. TKO2 Teri Hatcher.

After: Hatcher gambling on her opponent's rep for being psychologically fragile, goes all out early to heap punishment on the model: "I couldn't have kept that up," says Teri, "Thank god it was Stephanie and not a real fighter in there." Seymour and Victoria's Secret stunned, embarrassed by the thrashing - Stephanie battered beyond recognition in 2 rounds of fury from Teri.
