BEFORE: Academy's been putting top prospect Olsen in mega-tough...they dial back to an Olsen peer in Seydoux. "Yeah, you know - I've been fighting really challenging girls - experienced fighters; hard-nosed fighters," Olsen shrugs, "and I've taken losses, but I've learned from every round. I see Lea as being kind of a 'mid-term' exam...see how well I learned the lessons, see how much farther ahead of her I am. My hunch is I'm way, way ahead, but I have to prove it to her body and chin."

Seydoux cool, wary of press - she's curt in her comments. "Olsen will be beaten," Lea assures all in prefight. "I have seen her fight. She reminds me of British tourists who try to dominate our beaches in summer: over-confident; over-fed; easy to claim against."

Hook misses, but Olsen continues to drive forward, spearing a straight right hand firm to chin...Seydoux pulling straight back, and FRENCH GIRL DOWN! Lea blown to her back...grinnin' Liz jogging past stunned Seydoux, ending up chest-first on ropes, hamming to the crowd as Lea rickety-sits up all hurt and rattled. Rest of the way, Liz settles into supple, methodical boxing midring - circling hurt, defensive prey, dutifully jabbing at Lea's facial defences; strapping away rangy rights and lefts to flank-rib and tummy. Bell: Shutout puts a wide smile on Olsen's glowing face - she hits for power, hits for average in the first.

R2: Liz in control with her legs - she's roaming to her right, constantly menacing Lea with feints and sudden pounces from outside. Seydoux ruffled, marked up, but alert: hands at temples, elbows up...she's giving away a lot of ribcage and waistline - inviting Olsen to shellack away downstairs. Down the stretch - Lea with a stricken expression indicating she's hurt in the body...Liz steps-right, hooks chin between the mitts, sending Seydoux reeling to ropes. American able to hop-close, flash a flurry to batter Lea...Seydoux sitting and cringing in ropes, suffering at bell. Olson striding away all cocky smiles and playful legs - pirohuetting and waving to the crowd just before she gets to her corner. Trainer tells Liz to "rein it in" - not like Seydoux's knocked out or anything.

R3: Ladies and gentlemen: Ms. Lea Seydoux. Lea jabbing Olson's tummy to take initiative; hopping leggy in clockwise loops around her girl; batting furious flurries of nuisance leather about Olson's head and shoulders whenever Liz closes to fight. Liz unhurt, but visibly flustered...Lea quick, darting, lithe - Seydoux retaining initiative with her legs, hopping while patting Liz down to prevent receipts. Bell: frothy shutout emboldens Lea - she pushes Liz's chest at the break, forcing hard eye-contact; Olsen mustering to answer when ref steps in.

R4: Hot-tossing two way - both women electing to stand-ground, be bendy at the waist while looking to get off in the pocket. Chippy little jabs/batting flurries from Lea - she's starting to swamp the defences with pesky volume. Olsen dipping her left shoulder, popping hips-right and delivering multiple whacking left hooks to French ribs - really feeding Lea heavy leather to body. Seydoux's pasting attacks answer Liz's thudding weight of shot for 2 minuts, but down the stretch, American girl starts to come forward, driving French backside into ropes. Liz leaning forward on lead (left) leg - hoisting those loose-limbed, heavy left hooks to French ribs - American girl putting 2 or 3 hooks in thick succession, numbing Lea's legs. SLAP-CHOP RIGHT HAND, LIZ OLSEN! Liz bending in, hacking righty-to-chin...she catches Lea as French girl's opening up to slug, spilling Seydoux awkwardly into ropes. Lea somehow doesn't go down, but she's staring, desperately hurt...bell saves her from Liz' fury as ref moves in quick.

Lea brave with the ref during break, telling him she's fine, but Seydoux on the verge of tears with her trainer as he works the enswell on her tender face.

R5: Seydoux loping to her right along the perimeter, trying to get herself together...Olson grimly walking Lea down, attuning her legs to Lea's pace. Lunging, wide hook slaps Lea into ropes...Olsen able to step close with a slap-chop right to face; dip that left shoulder and crank in hooks...beginning of the end as Seydoux's legs give way, slumping her hurt in ropes. Lea helpless - hands outstretched to push rather than punch...Liz pouring hurt to French girl - left hands to ribcage; hacking right hands up top. REF STEPS IN! Lea shellshocked, just freezing up as Elizabeth's cruel punches tear at stricken French front - TKO5 Lizzie Olsen in showcasing fashion.

After: Seydoux not a bad test on paper: Olsen's development obviously greatly accelerated by her rugged schedule early on. "People say I'm like a young Olivia Wilde," Liz shrugs, "that's nice and I'm working hard to change the description to 'better' Olivia Wilde! Lea was cute, very slick, but I feel like I can finesse-box with any girl my size: HURTING Seydoux was my mission tonight, and looking at the results, I'd say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!"
