BEFORE: Kat relaxed, friendly with press...she's a very confident underdog coming in. "I think I'm kryptonite for Cassidy Freeman," Law beams in prefight. "Outside of Righetti, Freeman might have the best balance at welterweight, but I feel like my handspeed and footwork can give her real problems. You guys might not be giving me much chance, but morale in our gym is high. We know we're going to hang an 'L' on Cassidy and we can't wait to get in there!"

Freeman upbeat - Cassidy's a girl who prefers fierce competition to intimidated victims. "I'm looking forward to the challenge," Freeman acknowledges. "I don't know about 'kryptonite', but Law does present some unique problems at the weight. Let's remember that I didn't have much trouble handling Jessica Biel's speed, so I think I WILL catch Katrina at some point, but it'll be interesting to see how this plays out!"

During R1: Cassidy jabbing: Kat quick-stepping to her right, turning Freeman's left flank, chopping right hands to Freeman's left ear/jawline over Cassidy's shoulder. Jamming jaw-shots have Cassidy baby-stepping out of her stance...Law able to hop-in with hooks/extra right hands, landing clusters of ringing blows, head and chest. Points for Katrina in a spicy first...Freeman unhurt, but put on notice that Law means to compete.

R2: Cassidy trying to put the jab on Kat, thumping poke into Law's top. Law sticking with the counter-clockwise shift - just a well timed step for an angle outside Cassidy's jab, then dropping the right hand...Freeman taking stout knocks on her jaw, trying to walk-through Law's punching rather than cover up. Katrina's follow ups put Freeman on her heels - Law landing hooks to chin; reaching in to grab at Freeman's biceps while walking redhead back...ref issuing orderly breaks, but Law's dictating terms here, controlling the pace on Freeman through 2.

R3: Cassidy patiently pumping her jab - thumping away on Law's chest...she finally lines Kat up, drops a swift right cross from the shoulder to Law's chin and KATRINA GOES DOWN! Just like that - Law on buns-and-elbows in shock...Freeman's effortless power on display - Cassidy breezy, upbeat sauntering to neutral corner. Law up at 8, clear-eyed, but spooked...she's evasive upon resumption. Kat hopping to her right along the perimeter, visibly concerned...Freeman walking Katrina down big-girl now - trying to locate Law's chest with that thudding jab, then clean house via the follow-on right. Law's movement carrying her away from Freeman's power; Law occasionally stopping her retreat to duck/straighten up into tactical clinches around Freeman's waist...Kat doing a good job getting out of a dangerous round as Cassidy can't consolidate the knockdown.

R4: Cassidy stalking, walking Kat down: Law up-tempo, sliding to her right outside, jabbing Cassidy's body to keep Freeman wary; countering Cassidy's jab with a consistent chopping right up top. Cassidy a little frustrated, trying to round on Law and throw hard, but Katrina maintaining that angle on Freeman's left shoulder, surprising her with hooks and right hands, keeping her off-balance. Down the stretch, Law ducks in under Freeman's jab; socks Cassidy a thumping right to paunch; straightens up into a short left hook to chin...redhead punched onto her heels, dropping another round as she's rung up tuff at bell.

R5: Kat working her gameplan - the little counter-clockwise shift; the chopping right hand counters over CAssidy's left shoulder; the wide, clouting left hook/pivot-clockwise maneuver to change directions. Minute mark, Freeman getting her hands on Kat - palming the girl's shoulders, shoving her onto her heels...leads to more squared up exchanges with Cassidy landing solid thump amidships via swinging right hands/clubbing lefts head-and-shoulder. Law buzzed - reaching her hands inside Cassidy's shoulders to shove her off, but Freeman too strong, bashing her way over Law's outstretched arms, belting her to ropes at the stumble. Down the stretch, Law in trouble...she forms rolling pocket with hands at temples, trying to slip Freeman's bombs, but Cassidy THUMPING that straight arm hook off Law's right side - redhead popping her hips, really getting muscular stroke into Katrina and LAW GOES DOWN! Kat dropped breathless to all fours, hurt to the body...Cassidy struts away nodding aggressively, once again showing the power to answer Kat's cleverness in volume.

R6: Wow - shutout Katrina Law! Law ferocious after knock down - rarin' to go...she goes right at Cassidy's breasts with a frisky triple jab; steps right; keeps hacking that pesky right hand over Cassidy's left shoulder - whip-hooking Cassidy's mouth while pivoting clockwise to change-up direction. Freeman's pursuit tentative...she's getting picked off, pre-empted, out-maneuvered...VERY good footwork from Katrina Law keeping Cassidy from getting set. Down the stretch, Law ducking inside with fists collected at her chest: she'll bounce a healthy right off Cassidy's belly; straighten up to hook Cassidy's tits; finish with a short-range, smiting right to chin, putting Freeman on her heels! Cassidy taking the shots like a big-girl should, but she's getting lit up...Law just getting off first, hitting with commitment, showing absolutely no sign of punk after getting dropped last round. BELL: Law forces blazing eye-contact! Katrina letting Cassidy see some fighting spirit here - there's no mistaking Law's desire in that look!

R7: Cassidy walking Law down, trying to impose will...Katrina hopping to her right, using her legs to spin-out Freeman's pressure, then gradually going over to offence. Middle minute all about Law countering Cassidy's jab with that vicious, chopping right hand...Freeman taking again and again on her jaw from that tricky angle - Cassidy's legs showing tell-tale tremors as Law finally gets into Freeman's thighs. Down the stretch, Law looks to consolidate to the body - ducking in under Freeman's jab; tapping the tummy a thumping right, straightening into a ringing left hook tits or chin. Freeman staring, on her heels...she's visibly wobbly-butt at the bell, showing signs of hurt!

R8: Freeman shows HER heart - shaking off Law's power, doubling up the jab and getting into better positions this round. Cassidy able to palm Law's shoulders, do some pushing on Kat - redhead swiping a heavy left hook across Law's stomach; driving in short-righty to chin. Law belted onto her heels, but she's staying active - ducking to change levels, straightening up into clinches, bogging Freeman down. Cassidy able to impose will late with consistent punching to Law's biceps/pecs...Katrina finally withdraws, hopping the perimeter to her right, ashen-faced at Freeman's concussive slugging.

R9: Shutout Cassidy Freeman. Cassidy walking Kat down, getting on top with that sledgehammer jab; beating the body with a deceptively easy stroke; pushing Kat's shoulders; taking canvas away. Law showing distressed, unable to hold her ground...first time we can really say that Law's running in spots. Katrina cleverly avoiding Big Hurt with her sneaky clinches - ducking under Freeman's strike-zone/straightening up into hugs.

R10: Kat suddenly over to offence - frisking Freeman's jugs the quick double jab; flashing a violent right uppercut to get Cassidy flinching backward; jumping in with swinging hooks, testing Freeman's chin. Redhead takes brunette's power, but aggressive gambles from Kat see her coming forward, scoring, tying up, then walking Cassidy to ropes for ref's breaks. Clever change in tempo and approach has Freeman thinking rather than punching...Law penetrating, getting off, then smothering receipts to take the heat! Comes back 6 rounds to 4 for Katrina, but Cassidy's 2 knockdowns make the fight a UD10 draw!

Little doubt they'll fight on - the fighters agreeing to terms midring before lawyers and advisers can even mount the aprons. Overtime rules: first girl to 2 consecutive rounds, or unanswered knockdown, or KO.

R11: Shutout Cassidy Freeman. Nothing fancy - it's the heavy jab to chest backing Law up; strong pushes up top - Cassidy using her strength; a sweeping left uppercut cutting across Law's torso on the diagonal from right hip to left shoulder, spanking midsection en-route; short, slamming right hands to chin. Law in survival mode - trying to flank Cassidy; trying to duck inside for clinches...Katrina can't get any offence going: methodical Cassidy's 1 round from victory.

R12: LAW'S HURT! Short, slamming right to jaw has Katrina stumbling in fence-post holes...muscular follow up from Freeman consists of punches and pushes. Katrina ragdolled about the ring, beautiful brunette trying to clear her head while surviving Freeman's trudging onslaught...Cassidy beating her girls about the hips and flanks, then trying for the uppercut finisher to chin in close. Down the stretch, Law loping to her right along perimeter - Freeman in hot pursuit: Kat suddenly ducks down and in, flashing that short right hand to belly; straightening up into hook and CASSIDY'S ROCKED! Freeman tugged HARD to chin, tilting onto her left leg...she staggers back to midring, Kat Law on the pounce! Law teeth bared, eyes blazing, lunging at Freeman with a wide sweeping hook, then trying to place the short right hand to chin-tip! FREEMAN HITS ROPES IN A FOG! Cassidy staring, head lolling...KATRINA UNLEASHES! Law ripping at Freeman's belly left/right; flashing the left uppercut to brush blinking redhead upright; SLAMMING an overhand right to jaw! Crowd roaring...Cassidy swaying on the spot, out on her feet, curvy legs holding her up...Kat back down to the basement left/right; using extended left elbow to prop Freeman up, then carving a tight right uppercut chin-punch. BELL! Cassidy staring, swaying on the spot...her legs keep her in the fight, but Kat's stolen the round!

R13: Cassidy stiff-legged, coming out in earmuff...Law shifts to her right, commits to hacking right hands up top...she's chopping at Freeman's left ear, SPILLING CASSIDY INTO ROPES! Kat charging in, reaching under Freeman's arms, jostling her upright...Law crowding close, fighting off Freeman's chest - WORKING CASSIDY OVER! Grim toe-to-toe - Freeman hurt, but settling in, getting her left shoulder into Kat's tits to join in the fun. Law bumpin' and diggin', cuffing and pounding at Cassidy's paunch; clipping tidy right uppercuts inside; finishing hooks-on-ear. Freeman sponging it all, writhing her arms to get position inside, then pumping back at her tormentress...Law fielding thick right hands into her ribs, but doing a good job defending Freeman's right uppercuts inside. Bell: ref pushes seething vixens apart...Law takes the 13th by as smidge, handing Cassidy the UD13 upset loss!

AFter: Law exhausted, but giddy with triumph. Freeman stunned and punished, but classy enough to offer her congratulations to both Katrina and her handlers in the Bonzo corner. "What a fight," a battered, exultant Law enthuses in postfight. "We schemed for how we wanted to approach her, but everyone's got a plan until they get hit right? I just had to roll with her punches; had to get myself together after she dropped me...I just never got discouraged! She knew she was hurting me and that might have given her a false-confidence...I'm a battler. To me, fight's just starting when I get hurt. She probably thought she'd turned the corner whenever she hit me hard, but I wouldn't have it - not tonight. You know, I see Beyonce there at ringside - I know her guys have been scouting me, and I'm totally open to her offer. That would be a huge paycheque for me, and after my biggest win ever tonight, I'm ready to get paid
