Before: Nolin signs a 6 fight contract with HBO celebrity division as cable execs leap on the lanky blonde's bandwagon. First fight a well chosen brunette - Harmon with gritty attitude and good chin, but lack of stopping power seems to make her an ideal opponent for Gena Lee. Nolin looking to broaden her appeal past grudge match status, needs an impressive victory to answer the nay-sayers. Gena in yellow sports bikini, black mesh to a high neck, Harmon in white aerobics two piece.

During R1: Who's the favourite again? Harmon comes out and chugs away at Nolin with a fierce, Wayne McCullough like series of pesky jabs, hooks and stiff straight rights from Gena's hips to her head. Harmon mechanical and relentless, touching her eyebrows with her gloves before punching to make sure her hands are high enough. Nolin awkward moving backwards, takes a jarring right hand to the teeth midway through the round and reels to the ropes. Nolin cowering, coving up, taking a beating to her taut abs as Harmon loops lefts and rights to the bell.

R2: Harmon stepping right to Gena once again, stabbing out with lefts and rights from the shoulder, but the gangly blonde has loosened up, stepping back and ringing Angie up with rangy right hands over the top. Harmon's offense determined, but predictable, and Gena able to land with spanking force to the face.

R3: Gena taking the lead, bangs away with lunging straight rights to Angle's midsection, then churns with swinging lefts and looping rights upstairs. Harmon backpedaling, getting hit flush on her beautiful face, doesn't have any answers this round.

R4: Angie flicking that little jab out from the elbow, works her way to medium distance, and puts together a series of jarring one-twos which culminate in a cracking blow to Nolin's cheek to drape the blonde over the ropes. Gena Lee with lips peeled back, looks panicky, but she clinches and walks Angie to center ring. Ref orders a break - Gena promptly hits on the break, and takes over as Harmon retreats. Wide swinging lefts and rights overwhelm Angie and in the final minute, a slugging Gena Lee, stomach rippling with exertion, pounds Harmon senseless against the ropes. Doe-eyed brunette is stunned at the bell, and Nolin gives her a forget-me-not right to the breasts way late.

R5: Angie still coming forward, despite looking a little puffy eyed. Keeping up that steady, churning pressure, Angie is able to hound Gena around the ring, exploiting Nolin's non-existent defense, and punching her way out of Gena's desperate clinching. Nolin hilariously complaining about Angle's "low blows" which are in fact, hard, clean body shots from both hands.

R6: Angie putting a whupping on Gena Lee, bats away at Gena's face and shoulders with the tight punching, and forces the blonde to the ropes. Harmon standing and delivering, keeping up her droning left/right pace as Nolin falters. Gena helpless in the final minute, uses her face to block Harmon's blows as Angie puts together jolting one-twos down the stretch.

R7: Gena badly battered about the eyes and mouth, comes out with her hands low once again, looking to time Angie with a looping left to the ear. Success midway through the round has Harmon stumbling, and Gena is able to step into the crashing right hand to snap the brunette's lovely head back with a vengeance. Harmon hurt, doing the funky chicken all over the ring as Gena goes on a rampage. Nolin walking Harmon down, blasting away with lunging right hands, finally corrals Harmon in a corner and hammers the girl to her knees. Angie up at 8, but defenseless as Nolin repeatedly drives her back across the ropes with a forearm to the throat, followed by whipping right hands to the bell - and after as the ref jumps in.

R8: Staggering, sleepy eyed Angie comes out and promptly takes a HUGE Nolin fastball off her temple. Harmon busted up, stumbles dreamily to the side as Nolin stalks her to the ropes and puts together her patented finishing rush. A cascade of looping right hands rain down on Harmon, who sits on the middle rope, hands at her lips, staring as Gena destroys her. Ref jumps in after 6 unanswered rights leave Harmon out on her feet. A jubilant Gena mounts the ringpost to accept the roar of the crowd. KO8 Gena Lee.

After: GLN gets what she needed - and HBO brass breath a sigh of relief. Harmon beating Gena to the punch, outhustling her, and outboxing her, came undone when Nolin finally lined her up for the 'A' right hands. Good solid win for Gena, establishes her as someone who's never out of a fight.
