Before: Williams has always been Landry's destiny -just a matter of time and money. Both girls winners of the most grueling tournament style fighting for women (Miss America Pageant) both establishing themselves as top celebrities, but Williams not ready to be replaced just yet. Vanessa looking foil bodied and stronger than she has in years - silk navy camisole and panties against Ali in black push up and panties.

During R1: Williams out to test the youngster early, diving in with lead right hands and Landry does the funky chicken early as her chin soaks up Vanessa's bombs flush. Incredibly, Ali stands up to the assault and takes the play away for a while with bashing lefts and rights of her own to Vanessa's midriff, but Williams comes roaring back late, showing that Mayweatheresque defense, leaning back, slipping down and away, then bending into crisp right hands off Landry's face leaving the big brunette wobbly butt at the bell. Williams shoving Ali at the break as Landry stares blankly back.

R2: Vanessa boxing now, left hand low, right at her cheek, turning that lead shoulder and slipping neatly, leaning back as Landry churns air. Williams swaying in and out, dropping those short, chopping lead right hands over and over to Ali's face, and the younger brunette begins to lump up badly as Williams works. Ali trying to box, but Vanessa still has the quicks - winning the battle of reflexes.

R3: Vanessa still taking it to Ali, bending down to lift left hands into Landry's tummy, leaning back to evade Ali's dangerous right hand, and leaning in to counter with banging right hands on the teeth that have Landry on her heels all round long. Sensational potshotting, quick fisted performance so far as Williams turns on her heel at the bell and stomps back to her corner, all business.

R4: Ali finally tags Williams with a clean right hand, punching with Vanessa and shaking the older woman's legs with the blast. Landry putting the hook on top, has Williams stunned, and Ali is able to work off her jab to land several good head shots while Vanessa is hittable. Williams gets it together at the midway point, but it's all defense as she fades to the ropes, tucking her chin and rolling, slipping to blunt Ali's heavy handed attack. Landry bashing away at William's hips, but not having any more luck tagging the older woman's chin as time runs out.

R5, 6: Vanessa schools her young foe, putting a beating on Landry in these rounds with class, elegance, and hard nosed will to dominate. Williams using lateral movement, lifting the jab off her hip to jam into Landry's tummy, tits and chin, has Ali flinching at the slightest movement, and those vicious, short lead rights are banging home with smart bomb accuracy. Ali soaking it all up, continues to move forward, but she's getting picked apart, and she's not cutting off the ring. Williams growing more and more confident as Landry fights panic in her corners during the break.

R7: Vanessa going for it, left at her side, whipping her upperbody to slip punches, then DRIVING in with the screened right hand to flatten Ali's head against her shoulder. Ali almost going out, hands stiffly out front as she looks to clinch, and Williams pivots away, cuffing the bigger girl's ear with a wide left hook as she turns Landry mid ring. Vanessa's eyes glittering as she sees the hurt on Landry's sleepy face, and Williams continues to seek right hand opportunities, just diving in - Roy Jones style whenever she bends to the right to slip Landry's ponderous right hands. In the final minute, a gorgeous gambling right on the mouth knocks Landry's mouthpiece out, and Ali nearly goes down, righting the ship as she stumbles to the ropes. Bell sounds to end the carnage as Vanessa raises her right hand while Landry stares on.

R8: Ali puffy and shopworn, struggles out, tightens up the guard, pawing with the jab and tasting crisp hard lefts in return as Vanessa smacks back the younger girl's head. Landry's defense just a shambles, and Vanessa coils to javelin in another booming right, but this time, Landry punches with her. Girls fall in together behind vicious crosses, then Williams peels away, toppling straight back to lie out COLD on her back as Landry staggers backwards. Stunning one punch destruction leaves Williams on ice and saves Landry from would have been a hugely one sided decision, if not knockout later on. KO8 Ali Landry.

After: Humiliating walk of shame for Williams as she blubbers stoically while Ali leads her around the ring with the right arm riding the older girl's waist. Ali waving like a princess, eyes swollen, but smiling happily as she displays her trophy. Heartbreaking loss for Vanessa who had built an insurmountable lead on the cards, but a huge win for Landry who had needed to take a step up in class and finally beat a clever veteran in the ring
