Bar Hits the Beach

Before: Both blondes snapping losing streaks in July, looking to prove it wasn’t a fluke over each other. Bar one up on Marissa, but model rivalry most noteworthy for the two draws that started it off.

White gloves, hair wet and wind-blown stringy. Marissa in red bikni with matching gloves, hair long and loose down her back. Veteran beach fighters, they’re both barefoot.


R1: Marissa out aggressively, dragging her fists across Bar in wide side to side slashes, but Refaeli staying compact, tucking the chin, uses a jolting straight jab to get Miller off her tempo, and a banging right cross off the forehead to put her wobbly butt almost every time it lands. Marissa quickly put in retreat, rendered ineffective, good opening round for Bar as she posts the shutout.

R2: Bar hunting Marissa down as Miller tries counterpunching, Refaeli pounding out those heavy jabs to drive Marissa ropeside. Miller attempting sniping hooks from her tight guard, gets caught throwing as Refaeli steps into a perfect left uppercut, neatly freezing Marissa in place. Miller hurt, glassy eyed, sitting pretty for a machine-like right hand, left hook combo on the teeth, with an extra left hook to the face as Marissa begins to flounder forward, desperate to get off those ropes. Miller staggering, desperately legging out the round as she’s absorbed a fearful pounding in 2 rounds.

R3: Step-and-shovel right hand to Bar's tummy starts the round; Refaeli frowns, answering back a swinging right across Miller’s chin. Models circling counterclockwise, long legs spread in wide stances, short, fast jabs trying to sort out the other's breasts with rangy right-cross follow ups. Refaeli a little busier, more aggressive, she's coming forward, spooking Marisa into rangy, hopping, circular evasions near the end of the round as she has to work for this round.

Rd4: Wild, long-limbed trading as Marissa gets all tempestuous, trying to stroke her way back into the fight. Eyes blazing, teeth bared - blondes taking turns shellacking each other wide right hands to body/curling left hooks against breasts. Miller eats a swinging right to chin, staggering under the weight of shot, then righting herself to fit straight rights onto Refaeli's chin in reprisal. Sloppy, reeling stuff, girls just pushing and waling on each other. Bar's the better at it, now that she doesn’t have to hunt for her prey, and she intensifies her assault on Marissa’s body. Bare feet let her splay her toes to dig into the sand for extra grip at the end of her pivots, intensifying her hooks as Miller wilts under the bombardment, muscled into the ropes. One final, spastic effort from Marissa as she shoves off the ropes, tries to clinch, but her legs give way, and she slides down Bar’s front. Glassy-eyed, head-lolling, the veteran blonde sprawls at Refaeli’s feet, the countout a formality as Bar roars back into a winning way with the KO4!

After: Bar symbolically steps over her former nemesis, not looking back as she makes her way out of the ring to mingle with the onlookers. Her meaning is obvious, Marissa’s not on her radar anymore. Refeali pulls out of her skid, now within spitting distance of .500 after 15 fights.
