Jessica Pare (Mad Men) versus Charlotte Sullivan (Rookie Blue)
(Results by Sim; Words by Lookout!)

Before: Both fighters share history with an intense Canadian rivalry between the two in apartment wrestling between Ontario and Montreal, with plenty of rumored match-ups between them as they appear eager to get a win for Canadian pride. Charlotte Sullivan excited to get another opportunity in the FCBA, eager to get another chance when she's called up yet again and looking to demonstrate her skills in what should be a great blonde-brunette tilt, “I've learned a lot on the set of Rookie Blue, sparring with Missy and the rest of the cast. Now, I get to see whether that pays off this year against Jessica Pare, who I think is really great on Mad Men! We've certainly had our differences in the past but, I'm planning on breaking through and if I have to beat her down to do it, then I will! ” Pare equally pleasant and confident, “Of course I've always admired Charlotte's work and in the past, we've definitely disagreed on who was the best. But, I got to say I'm definitely going to be too much for her! Sparring with Missy or tangling in an apartment is one thing, but getting into the ring with a brunette like me is going to be a real eye-opener for her, right before they are closed for the night!”

R1: Both girls heading to midring, jabbing at one another and stepping forward into one another, whacking at one another with hard hooks and rangy body shots to try to wear each other down. Sullivan moving forward to try to shovel in right and left hands towards Jessica's tummy, but Pare keeps jabbing at her chest to keep her backwards and then hooks her off of the jab, connecting across her chin to send Charlotte wobbly-butt. A follow-up right hook to her cheek sends her with a thud to the canvas, spilling down as Pare scores an early knockdown! Charlotte takes a few seconds before rising to her feet, but Jessica charges forward to pounce on Sullivan from the moment she gets up, planting her feet as she whacks away at her torso and crowds her back to the ropes. Pare firing away with her mitts, leather thudding into her rival's body, getting on top to clean up strong from bell to bell to take round one.

R2: Jessica emerges from her corner, forcefully flicking out leather to hook at Charlotte as she tries to trap her along the ropes. Beautiful blonde not backing down though, Sullivan keeping her mitts up defensively as she uses her legs to try to bob and weave her way out of the ropes. Charlotte sending her mitts seeking brunette tummy and finding it, gloves scooping away at Pare's midsection and then manages to connect a powerful right cross off of the jab that just rocks Jessica's head sideways. Jessica is wobbly-butt, and a tidy left uppercut from Charlotte lifts her off of her feet and deposits her down towards her rear with a thud. Charlotte beams as she is held back by the ref as Pare makes her way to her feet to beat the count after Sullivan scores with an answer knockdown of her own! No sooner does Jessica make her way to her feet, than Charlotte is on her, just spearing in shots towards her breadbasket and jabbing into Jessica's jugs to bully her backwards. Unable to finish Pare off as she encounters stiff resistance from the brunette, who is strong off of the mat, preventing Sullivan from getting into a steady rhythm with her offense and staying away from the worst of it. However, she is unable to prevent Charlotte from being on top, gloves thudding into her torso, at the end of the round or from taking the round wide with the knockdown.

R3: Girls heading immediately back to the middle of the round as they pivot around one another in a pitched battle between the two, with both fighters coming out swinging in disciplined fashion. Certainly not mindless brawling as the two exchange shots crowding in close with one another and jabbing at one another to open up one another's defense, alternating high and low as they try to expose any opening they can get. Charlotte is grinding away with a fast-paced flurry of offensive blows that crash into Pare's tummy and tits, backing her up initially. But Jessica responding with some precise hooks of her own, targeting her foe's flank and ripping away at her ribcage, forcing Sullivan to backpedal after that. Both fighters near the ropes, but leg their way away from them as they keep up the pressure and waits for one of them to fall from the constant hammering. In the final minute, it's Sullivan who is dropped with a speedy hook to her chin that sends her falling sideways to the canvas. Although Charlotte manages to get to her feet, it's Jessica who takes the round wide with the knockdown.

R4: Sullivan knows she needs to get back into the match after suffering a setback with another knockdown in the previous round, but unfortunately, Jessica plans to give her no such opportunity. Charlotte comes out aggressive, boxing in determined fashion to spank in leather towards Pare's head and shoulders, trying to get her to cover up and retreat towards the ropes. Pare, however, doesn't back down for long and in the first minute, unleashes a devastating left uppercut that sends Charlotte down to the mats for another knockdown! Charlotte manages to rise upwards, fighting well off of the canvas, though certainly looking shabby at this point. Pare follows up with some rangy right jabs, drilling right into blonde torso as she keeps up the pressure, backing Sullivan up as she whacks at her tummy with her left. The combination has Sullivan smothered against the ropes, on the defensive as she is forced to cover up, unable to get into any kind of offense. Jessica keeps pushing and punching at her rival, sending out hard-hitting shots that keep stuffing into her tummy and then in the final minute, pours through to deliver another stunning cross across Sullivan's cheek. Charlotte staggers to the side, legs locking up as she pitches face-first to the canvas. Pare really piling on the pressure here as she scores yet another knockdown and there is no question that Sullivan is falling apart at this point. Jessica all smiles as she heads back to her corner, seeing a dazed Sullivan beat the count, but barely as the bell rings. Frantic work to try to help Sullivan recover after that devastating round, which judges score this one wide for Jessica with not one, but two knockdowns to award it to Pare 10-8.

R5: Charlotte manages to emerge from her corner, but on unsteady legs as Pare can sense the hurt like a shark can tell blood in the water. Charlotte keeping her gloves up, trying to firm up her defenses as Jessica swarms forward, sending out some hooks as she whacks away to blonde ribcage and then jabbing up at her breasts. Charlotte trying to clinch, but some stiff and short shots to her tummy prevent her from making that happen, as Pare is just bullying her rival back to the ropes. Sullivan slumping into the ropes, butt-in-ropes as she cradles her body and at this point, Jessica goes to town. Jessica is just pasting Charlotte across the face back and forth, lathering her across her shoulders as Sullivan's mitts fall down. The ref goes to step in to put a stop to it, but when he does, Jessica steps backwards to let Sullivan nose dive down into the mats. Jessica finishing strong with her arms upraised in victory as she is able to secure the win via KO5!

After: Quite a display as Jessica Pare leans down, rolling Charlotte towards her back as she reaches for her shoulders, inclining her head forward to whisper into the blonde's ear and appears to pin her down into the canvas before popping back to her feet. Pare beams, smiling as she poses over Charlotte, “That's how we used to do things back in the days of the apartment wrestling across Canada, but I beat her then and I beat her now! Give it a little time and when it comes to the best brunettes in the division, people are going to have to start bringing up my name!”, obviously thrilled as she puts together a win streak for the first time in her career which should hopefully lead to bigger matches down the line for this beautiful brunette.
