Word around Brighton is that Zoe Salmon's place on the Lioness Club roster hangs in balance. Another defeat tonight against the winless Danni Wells and the Ulster blonde may well be on her way out of the Barnet-based stable. That's the second time a member of the Lioness Club is only the proverbial cusp and BBU TV is anxious to see if Salmon can repeat Keisha Buchanan's miracle comeback to avoid the axe. She's got Denise van Outen's full support despite her last - and only - victory dating back to March of last year.

Meanwhile Danni Wells has proved to be quite a feisty competitor in her two BBU bouts to date but struggles to take a punch well and is seen as a Salmon clone with bigger breasts according to most of the fans gathered in Brighton. It shapes up to be a really close fight but with Zoe needing victory more than her fellow blonde rival. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls tear into each other from the bell smelling a rare chance to score a much needed win and Zoe smacks Danni across the mouth with her first charge, snaps the head back and drills on the chest thereafter, outworks the PageThrees' blonde in close range and thumps her on the stomach, bends to the side with more jabs on the temples; shows street brawling tactics more than anything else but it's good enough to send Wells reeling back to the ropes in avoidance. Salmon swings after her but stumbles forward as she rushes her approach too much and gets tagged by a swift overhand from Danni, leather pumping into Zoe's chest as she turns away from the glamour model but gets spiked on the nose and Danni pours in with more shots from behind the guard, manages to turn Salmon to her side again and buries a low jabbing combo on the navel to sign off the round as the clock expires already and catches the vixens by surprise. Wells' upset and shoves her cleavage against Zoe's chest, gets dragged away by the ref and just shakes her glove in frustration.

Round 2:
Danni's keen to work on Zoe in the second and squares up to her, ducks underneath a hooking effort on the head and buries more leather into the Ulster blonde's tummy. Salmon squeals in pain and tries to jump to the side, gets caught with a left hand on the temple but keeps dropping her arms too low as Wells opens up from both flanks in the middle of the ring and wades in on her foe, smacks leather over the top and clips Zoe's chin, wobbles her back and outworks with a ferocious flurry of punches that nail Salmon on the nose as her guard falls apart early and enables the P3 blonde to score unanswered leather from point blank range. Head-snapping experience for the Ulster blonde who begins to shake on her knees as she stumbles to the side, raises her head just as Danni whacks her on the jaw with a big left hand AND SENDS TUMBLING HARD ON HER BACKSIDE... Ugh! Salmon breaks down again with Wells screaming out at her and pumping mitts against her cleavage... Slow count reaches six before the Ulster girl gets up but reels back to the ropes immediately after the command with Danni pumping leather against her flesh, drilling jabs around the elbows and into the ribs; Salmon covers up but sags on the ropes as Wells keeps hammering away at her midriff but can't slice the guard anymore and is left angry at the bell again with Zoe just about surviving in one piece. Even Denise van Outen looks disgusted and wonders how on Earth did Salmon manage to beat Wells' stablemate Holly Peers before?

Round 3:
Zoe realizes she's got to do something here tonight to avoid getting axed but Danni seems to care little about that as she piles on the fellow blonde with vicious leather, closes her down and whacks from both sides, rocks her in the middle of the ring and keeps scoring on the mouth with the left hand as Salmon covers up but shows poor defence again and just sags on her knees. Wells groans in will to punch her opponent out, a mix of squeals from the Ulster blonde only fuels her desire and she snaps the head back repeatedly in the opening miniute and reduces Zoe into a training dummy, switches low therafter and buries more jabs on the ribcage, uppercuts the rack and shoves the aching rival on the ropes where she presses her chest against Salmon's flesh and sends punches over the top that crash off the temples and Zoe just gets pummelled around, steps to the side but gets pinned on the turnbuckles and offers nothing back as Wells bangs a cross-hook on the mouth and splits her lower lip. Loud moans from the Ulster blonde who continues to struggle and Danni sends more shots on the ribs, batters Zoe pillar-to-post and sports a huge smile as she realizes that Zoe is just having another nigtmare at the office. More head-snapping just before the bell, Salmon a slumbering wreck, almost out on her feet, eats more leather over the top and just wraps her arms around the ropes at the bell, Wells; all over here and shoves her breasts against the flesh and Salmon doesn't even bother to reply, broken mentally after taking another brutal punishment and even BBU TV has lost all the hope for this girl.

Round 4:
Wells jumps after the cumbersome Salom straight from the bell and seeks the finishing touches but Zoe tags her with a wayward hook on the nose and wobbles in the middle of the ring, loud scream from the Ulster blonde who now just bashes shots on the body, not much precision but a frantic display of fury, agony of defeat firmly in her eyes but she clips Danni' chin again and snaps the head back. Wells furious, drives forward on the tummy and bounces off the forearms, eats overhand hook on the mouth and staggers back as Zoe leaps after her and nails with a jabbing combo on the nose! Wells pushed back to the ropes, seeks a clinch but eats jabs on the chest and must cover up; Salmon sends a sudden flurry of punches from behind the guard and rocks Danni on her feet, drills more around the liver area and keeps the model pinned on the ropes, tries to slice between the arms again but Wells refuses to buckle and finally secures a clinch in the last minute but the round is gone for her as Zoe somehow manages to bang more shots against the tummy and headbutt Danni just before the bell, cuts her up under the right eye and it's as dirty and desperate from the Ulster girl as possible but she postpones the fat lady singing and just about hangs on to her Lioness Club career. Meanwhile Danni can't believe the ref turned a blind eye on that obvious headbutt and is left fuming in her corner as the cutmen attend the wounded eye.

Round 5:
Zoe buoyed by that previous round jumps after Danni but as she skims off the guard with her hooking approach, gets nailed on the mouth with a huge left hand and Wells shows furious nature whipping more leather over the top and opening the lip wound within seconds as Salmon's head keeps snapping back repeatedly. She may regret that headbutt now as Danni throws venom from her eyes and mitts and slaughters the guard, bounces off Zoe's face and prevents her from getting the arms together as she spikes her in the middle of the ring and lumps her up in a hurry. Ferocious onslaught from the glamour model as she whacks Zoe on both temples, wobbles her on the spot and follows up with a crisp uppercut on the jaw as Salmon whimpers out and TUMBLES TO THE SIDE at the fellow blonde's feet. Wells truts back to her corner, wants the Ulster girl counted out as quickly as possible but it's another slowish count by the ref and Zoe's up on all fours at six, scrambles herself back upright eight and nods back to the man in charge that's she's ready to continue. Wells charges from her corner and whacks her on the tummy straight after the command though and sags Zoe on her knees; arms drop too low again and expose her to overhand counter, Wells pumping leather against the face with ease, adds more lumps to a roughed up face of her foe again and Salmon leans on the ropes, seeks a clinch but Danni uppercuts her rack and spikes on the eye in the proccess, buries the hapless looking presenter under a heavy barrage of leather and bursts her lower lip for good with more point-blank range shots as Salmon closes her eyes and keeps moaning in pain... Danni dishes out more punishment, tags the jaw again and has a training practice with Zoe's jugs, seemingly keen to rip the navy blue outfit to shreds and Salmon's knees give way as she has her chest turned into jelly and can't even raise her arms anymore... DOWN GOES ZOE AGAIN... just collapses at her opponent's feet and this time nothing will save her... she is left in embrional position, blubbering in tears on defeat as Denise van Outen starts to write the Lioness Club axing report.... KO5 Danni Wells!!!

Post-fight:
Allthough it's not official yet, Zoe's time with the Barnet stable has probably been terminated by a first time winner, Danni Wells of the PageThrees. It's been a rough encounter between couple of lower ranked blondes but the Brighton crowd can't complain about the lack of excitement even if the skills were subpar compared to some of the other fights on the card.

While Danni was angry during most of the contest, she's massively relieved afterwards and might have saved her own career from obscurity with tonight's win. Zoe did gave her a huge lump under the eye with that headbutt in the fourth round but it doesn't matter anymore for the glamour model as her hand is raised by the referee and Danni has nothing else but smiles for the crowd and even shakes her jugs in joyful mode. Crowd demands to see the whole package and Wells is no stranger to revealing herself in the buff but BBU TV's contract forbids certain behaviours and Danni's black top stays in it's place.

Back in the Lioness corner it's a low-key exit for their Ulster blonde and one must really wonder if Zoe gets another - and probably the last - chance to somehow resurrect her career and save the Barnet salary. According to Denise van Outen, that's not the case but stranger things have happened in BBU and there's no official word from the Lioness executives until the end of the event.
