Boxing After Dark

Before: Six weeks after the close call against Dunning, Boxing after dark card sees Nolin champing at the bit to dish it up to one of the most beautiful brunettes in boxing. Bobbie once touted as the 'future' of celebrity boxing, never lived up to the hype, but brings a competent boxing style and a good fighting heart to the dance. Unfortunately, could be the proverbial bringing a knife to a gun fight as Gena loves facing textbook boxers, and swears that Bobbi will not leave the ring under her own power. Phillips in purple tank style bikini, Gena in yellow bikini, high neck.

During R1: Gena Lee reaching with the left, looking to sweep at Bobbi with the right uppercut, but Phillips using the double jab to set up the right cross and she NAILS Gena midway through to get the lanky blonde moving backward. Nolin with her hands down, poses for a right hand on her jaw that sends her hopping to the right, then drops her to her knees as Phillips coolly steps to a neutral corner. Gena up and panicking, covers up as Phillips bangs away at the blonde's flanks with lefts and rights to the bell.

R2: Gena Lee with early clutch and grab, wants to sloooow things down as Phillips still pumped from the knockdown. Girls settle into flat footed slugging stances, fighting outside, each leaning into and swaying back from long right hands.

R3: All Bobbie as she scores repeatedly with the quick double jab, right cross combinations. Nolin getting picked apart, and not getting off as Phillips jab is constantly in her face. Gena Lee no good backing up, and she judges distance poorly, always in range for Phillips popping cross on the jaw. Phillips b###hing about Phillips 'fouls' to the ref at the break.

R4: Bobbie rushing out to clinch, and sets Bobbie up sweet for a cheap shot out of the break. Phillips off balance and surprised, jabs as Gena comes over the top, bouncing that big right hand hard off Phillips left eye. Bobbie's legs go funky, and she squares up weak as Gena whipsaws the wide left hand. Phillips on her heels, gets her head rocked back and forth as Gena swings away and the girls end up in the ropes as Nolin barges in. Backing out, Nolin stacks Phillips up with a gorgeous right uppercut, bending Phillips knees. Nolin propping her girl up under the arms, shoves the brunette into the ropes for a brutal beating to the breasts and head, lifting the punches from her waist as she twists her torso left and right. Bobbi out on her feet, face blank, eyes closed as she is battered senseless, and this one is Stopped. Gena Lee pulled off the insensate brunette - TKO4.

After: Punishing exhibition as Phillips leaves on a stretcher following a dreadful beating on the ropes. Gena Lee looking good, simply overpowering the game, but outgunned cutey. Gena in her publicity rounds makes pointed comparisons between Dunning and Phillips, suggesting that both should retire if that's 'all they have left'.
