Before: Fight is positioned as a tune-up for Doherty as Principal is selected over Milano and others. Could it be a mistake as the still dangerous Principal has a huge edge in experience. Identical styles and similar physiognomies – each girl looks to land the right cross, but Principal more adaptable to circumstances. Doherty in rust string bikini top, black stretch pants, Victoria in black string bikini top, red stretch pants.

During R1: Shannen starts behind a licking jab, pumping the left into Principal’s breasts and face. Vicki remains patient, backing up in good order, and midway through the round, she times the left with a quick, flicking right hand, then spins Shannen to the mat with a snapping left hook. Doherty up at 8, is shaky, but she plows ahead, putting pressure on Vicki to the bell as the veteran calmly ties her up.

R2: Identical round as Vicki lets Shannen move in behind her jab, then gets Doherty in trouble with counter right hands. Shannen staggered by a vicious right to the jaw stumbles forward, and Victoria maliciously hooks Doherty’s full breasts, using her shoulder to pivot around Shannen and fire from new angles. Doherty strong at the end again, but once again, Vicki ties her up smugly to the bell.

R3: Toe to toe slugging as Shannen lets the right hand go. Vicki not afraid to stand in front of Doherty and trade, and her biting left hooks start to wear Shannen down by the final minute. The last 60 seconds is all Victoria as she puts a Hollywood beating on Shannen, flashing sharp combinations, a disheartening jab, and crunching left hooks to the side of the head.

R4: Shannen looks roughed up, but determined this round, and comes out cranking left hooks to the slender ribcage of her opponent. Vicki stops punching, and Shannen takes over with a pounding straight right to the solar plexus. Principal in retreat, pulls straight back and BANG! Shannen over the top with that lunging straight right hand. Vicki is HURT! She wobbles wide-eyed in front of Shannen as Doherty reloads and sweeps a wide right to the ear of Principal. Vicki out on her feet tries to clinch, but Doherty steps back and nails Principal to the jaw with a coupe de gras right. Principal rolls to her back, eyes a flutter as Doherty raises her fists in triumph.

After: Shannen puts together an impressive come from behind effort, starching the normally very resilient Principal in spectacular fashion. The win puts Doherty in line for a shot against bantam champ Carmen Electra.
