BBU FIGHT NIGHT FROM CARDIFF

(Fight Club UK vs Garnet Gunners UK)

Jacqui Jossa continues her crusade against fellow soap actresses with this contest against the slightly older Brooke Vincent, with her intention being to win this fight well, then moves swiftly towards fighting Brooke’s former co-star (and on-screen lover) Sacha Parkinson, but she’s looking towards a bantamweight tile shot rather than a soap star punch out.

Jacqueline enters the ring first tonight, and she looks good in a white one piece, with matching gloves and boots, the shorter Brooke opting for a leopard print bikini with black gloves and boots – she looks like a poor man’s Samia Ghadie tonight!

Round 1

The girls are stalking and circling as the fight starts, neither one wanting to make the first mistake. Jacqui jabs Brooke, and the Corrie babe feels that, steps off half a pace, drawing Jacqui into her, then responds, snapping a couple of hooks off into Jossa’s body, punches with enough oomph to send the taller girl backwards towards the ropes. Jacqui stands and fights, though, again using her extra reach as she thuds jabs into Brooke’s advancing face, the punches bouncing off the girl’s features, but not deterring her in any way, Brooke slamming punches into Jacqui’s body as she gets in nice and tight. Jacqui backs off as the round draws to a close, and Brooke’s beginning to punish the taller girl more and more to the body, giving the girl’s ribcage an examination now, as she covers up on the ropes.

Round 2

Brooke looks confident now, boxing well, and moving well, and she’s more than happy to trade shots with Jacqueline, although the taller girl is connecting too easily in this exchange, her gloves beating a rapid tattoo on Brooke’s face. Now the shorter girl covers up, Jacqui looking for gaps in her defence, but she’s getting over-anxious, and Brooke’s back at her body again, making the Eastenders girl squeak as the shots go in, and she’s turned her around! Brooke has Jacqui on the ropes now, and she flails away at the taller girl’s body until Jossa hits back, giving Brooke a sweet one-two which has the Corrie girl quaking, and she looks happy to see the end of this round.

Round 3

Brooke has a nasty little lump rising on her left eyebrow as a result of that combination at the close of round 3, and she’s seemingly reluctant to get in too close to Jacqui now. This suits the taller girl very well, and she’s bopping Brooke’s head around from distance, even getting to her toes to accentuate her advantage, and she’s reddening the skin around that lumpy left eye a little more now, Brooke drifting across the ring, taking right hand shots in succession, now finding herself on the ropes. Brooke’s covering her head, but here comes an assault on her body – withering punches, which have the smaller girl gasping, her guard slowly dropping, and that’s a good left hook this time to her jaw, a solid enough shot which drops her to her butt. Gaping at the referee, Brooke is on her feet again at 7, but she’s a little unsteady, and a static target for Jacqui, the taller girl rifling two snapping right hooks past her guard onto that swollen eye, the bell surely saving Broke from serious damage.

Round 4

Jacqueline’s swiftly into action now, and she’s right at Brooke, chopping punches into her face, and now launching into her body again, telling her, “Let that biitch Parkinson know how much this hurts, honey!” then she hits her again, landing a crushing left hook to her ribs. Brooke’s really struggling for air after that, her arms again beginning to drop, and she gets that speedy one-two again, punches smacking into an unguarded face, and she’s sprawled on the canvas now, dribbling blood from her nose, but still getting to her feet again at 7. Jacqui’s taunting her, saying, “You’re nothing, Brookie! Just a little lapdog!” and she follows this up by smacking another right hook into Brooke’s face, her left eye looking ever more painful, with Jacqui doing her with a left to the belly on the bell.

Round 5

This is getting worse for Brooke, as Jacqueline whips another right hook onto her damaged eye, and now the smaller girl has to cover up, with Jacqui looking for gaps in her defence, trying to punish her to the body. But Brooke’s defending herself well, keeping her arms in, her gloves up, and staying in as close as she can to stop Jacqui using her extra reach to gain leverage on her punches, and this is frustrating for Jossa, who likes to have her opponents nicely softened up by this stage, not still protecting themselves. Jacqui’s showing her frustration as she carries on punching Brooke’s gloves and arms, not really looking as though she’s aiming for gaps in the defence any more – just trying to bludgeon her way through it. This is a one-sided round, but at least Brooke stayed vertical throughout, and her eye is no worse.

Round 6

Red faced, and having received a lecture from her management, Jacqueline’s swiftly across the ring, and she’s working on Brooke’s body again, taking her time more, finding a way through – she hurts Brooke with a heavy right to the ribs, follows her success with another, now has her girl where she wants her again, gloves dropping to protect that ribcage, exposing her face, and Jacqui lands big – the right hook now collides with that swollen eye, and it’s closely followed by a left hook to the jaw, which sits Brooke down again on the floor for another count of 7. The girl’s back up on her feet, but her left eye is shut tight now, and the referee quite rightly ushers her back to her corner.

Result: Jacqueline Jossa stopped Brooke Vincent in round 6.

Jacqueline is beginning to look better and better – but can she do this sort of thing against better opposition? She’s struttinmg around the ring after the fight, shouting, “Where’s Sacha Parkinson? I’ll beat you up next, if you want it, girl!” Poor Brooke Vincent will be spending the night in hospital, with her management rightly concerned about her left eye socket.
