BEFORE: Tempers flaring in prefight - girls getting pushy with each other, faces set in bytchy scowls...both know it's an important type-supremacy battle. "I think Odette's over-rated," Yvonne affirms at podium, eyes daring any to challenge her on this. "She says she's 'bendy', but I think she's flimsy. People think she's this big rival of mine, but I'm built too strong, and I'm too athletic for her. She's tall, and she's got Vandervoort-busting power in her right hand, but that's not good enough at lightweight. I'll eat this girl up, guys. Watch."

Yustman fuming...hearing Yvonne being all podium-confident enough to make Odette blush in protest. "Yustman's just another beatable blonde who thinks she's special," Odette answers in rebuttal. "She thinks she's the next Theron: she's more like the next Candice Accola! I'm better than she is in all areas. Acting: check. Looks: check. Fighting spirit and ability: check and check! This is going to be a heartbreaking fight for Yvonne; her high-water mark; the beginning of the long slide down. I CAN'T WAIT!"

Odette in dark chocolate bra, teal bikini bottoms; small black gloves; long black hair glossy and straight. Yvonne in black lace bra with white lace trim, boy-leg panties; small black gloves; hair in loose tangly-curls. Staredown: Yvonne pissed, scowling; Odette determined, listening to ref's instructions with hands on defiant hips.

R1: Odette misjudges distance early: Yvonne trims-chin with a sliding right cross, sending Yustman sputtering out of orbit. Yvonne: eyes-wide, excited - she's got Odette hurt and reeling into ropes. Rest of the round a patient, strapping follow up from Yvonne...she's working Odette's midsection via dip-and-rip left or right uppercuts - really snapping mitts off meat - watching closely for the effects - then punching crisp hooks/right hands to head as Odette's sputtering along ropes. Bell: Yustman swaying slightly, disappointed in herself for getting clipped; big smile Yvonne on the cocky blonde strut back to corner.

R2: Girls trading left jabs to mouths, pivoting leggy-left around the poke. Crisp right hands flash past respective chins - comeback hooks...YVONNE GOES DOWN! Blonde girl sprawling in shock on her back, sending Odette skipping happily to neutral corner...as Straho's scraping herself up, Odette's shouting "Gonna finish you honey!" across the ring. Resume: Yvonne badly shaken, legging to her right...Odette smiling, walking/hopping her girl down. Rangy, swinging left taking Yvonne in her paunch, punching her into ropes: Odette able to strafe her blonde long one-twos thereafter, battering 'Vonnie as she rolls in the pocket. Great payback round for Odette: she punishes Yvonne along all four aprons - lick-snatching at toned blonde tummy/ribs; pelting away up top with long one-twos. Bell: Strahovski swaying on the spot, blinking away tears; Odette forcing hurtful eye-contact on her rival as ref moves in.

R3: Both girls hurt, spooked through 2: each settles into leggy, classy boxing outside. Fighters on their toes, shifting clockwise - dukes at temples. Both girls trying to work the opponent's face, but blocking guards doing a good job...leads to more step-and-stab work directed to either midsection. Vonnie deploying a downward-slanting right into Odette's midsection late...good spanking body shots enough to paint a close round blonde.

R4: Odette shifting clockwise; doubling up her jab; getting after Vonnie's midsection via licking, sticky, lanky left/rights. Odette's small mitts digging into taut blonde beef PIK! PAK! Straho grunting in receipt, wincing, keeping her hands at temples as she stoops forward in alarm. Great pace and jump from Odette - she's really pounced Straho here, taking blonde breath away, then just circling-and-working. Straho avoids shutout by retreating into ropes, inviting Odette to close and bang...both women scoring well in free-swinging exchanges at bell.

R5: Odette frisky again - double-jabbing Yvonne into defensive fronts; lashing the body PIK! PAK!; pivoting clockwise around the scores. Yvonne's eyes betraying distress: she's not getting off, not cutting off the ring; tough body shots have her breathing hard...Odette's really tightening the noose here. Outboxed midring, Vonnie retreats to ropes, coaxes Odette close then does some scoring late as Yustman looks to increase the mileage on blonde legs. BELL: Girls still strapping each other lanky left/rights underneath - bringing ref in hot. Odette pumped, shouting "I'm winning!" as ref's pushing her back.

R6; Yvonne doing a better job of jabbing-with, allowing her to compete midring. Yustman trying to slide that rangy right cross to chin, but it's well defended by supple Yvonne. Strahovski focussing on ribs/tummy - dipping to either side, snapping her mitts TART off Odette's lean chassis, putting a grouchy look of hurt on Yustman's face. Odette looking to disengage down the stretch, but Yvonne hunting her down - leaning into spanking straight right hands slanted down into sternum, driving Odette to ropes at bell.

R7: Odette yielding initiative midring - she's legging around, trying to shake off Vonnie's body work. Blonde girl in grim pursuit - cutting off the ring - jabbing Odette ropeside; fixing her defence up top with a crashing right cross, then; biting a vicious left uppercut off Odette's toned tummy. Yustman grunting, grimacing, offering clinches...blonde girl looking the stronger woman now, walking Odette into ropes, holding her down for ref's breaks. Bell to bell Yvonne: systematic pressure...no secret to anyone in the building that Strahovski's trying to neutralize Odette's legs.

R8: Yvonne's spent the last few minutes establishing ring-control, now she moves in to hurt and demoralize her foe. Odette wincing, baring teeth in distress, sliding to her right along ropes as Vonnie bears down. Yvonne loose, stepping to stay square - reaching out one or both hands to touch at Odette's hands or shoulders, then chopping the palm-down right onto jug/into ribs; crossing the left across jug; dipping the right shoulder to really pump the right to gut; jabbing Odette back into ropes to reset. Job of work: Odette getting sloppy/groggy in the pocket; Yvonne pushing Odette's face back with left palm, then jamming into that torso. It's all too much...Yustman's legs finally give way, easing her to all fours for a devastating 8 count.

R9: Odette crippled - magnificent legs shabby with hurt...she's quickly jabbed to ropes and set-upon. Yvonne methodical - hands reaching out to touch at Odette's guard, or push her biceps back; straight, chopping, palm-down lefts and rights hack at exposed breasts/ribs/tummy until Odette can cover up. Yustman attempting to clinch, but Yvonne just stacking her brunette up, pushing off, getting back to business. Torso annihilation eventually forces Odette into face-in-gloves configuration...she bends forward off the ropes, giving up her flanks to wicked-licking lefts and rights dug deep behind either elbow. Another late knockdown sees Odette beaten onto her haunches, hugging her ribs and squeezing out tears from tightly shut eyes.

R10: Yvonne hard-eyed, grim-faced, cold-hearted and relentless. She marches on Odette; jabs her to ropes, begins touching and pushing at her, setting her up for punishment. Strahovski setting a methodical, miler's pace - never getting wild or smothering herself on Odette. Snappy, chopping rights punch Odette's face back, stunning her. Pounding palm-down lefts and rights slam at tits and torso, sitting Odette in ropes, bunching her forward. Lathering beatdown of brunette flanks buckles Odette's knees, then Yvonne's ducking low, getting left shoulder under Odette and levering her back upright to repeat the pattern. On and on - blonde girl beating a numb and shabby brunette...Odette goes down again, panting and sobbing on knees and elbows, her head bowed to canvas while Strahovski struts away hands-on-hips. Yustman won't quit - won't give Yvonne satisfaction - willowy brunette beats the count, swaying woozy on the spot at bell. Comes back UD10, Yvonne Strahovski.

AFTER: Odette miserable, her right arm cradling across her ribs as ref raises Yvonne's hand...blonde girl makes a point of stepping into Odette's space and shouting "YES!" in her face, bringing officials in hot. "My guys told me I was losing the fight after 5," Yvonne reports in postfight, "and that just flipped a switch inside me. I owned her over the last half. I battered Odette Yustman. I broke her. I never want to see her making eye contact with me again - not after tonight. I'm better, and she better acknowledge that, or she can expect even worse if there's a next time."
