BEFORE: "Prepping for Mandy gives me a headache," Righetti grins in prefight. "She's so crafty, but if you focus on her craftiness, you forget about that sneaky right hand power of hers. On and on, like that - the more you break her game down, the more game you discover. It boils down to me being sharp, not giving her any extra chances, and doing damage when I work. Especially if she's getting hot again: she's the kind of girl who can surprise you."

Moore upbeat - back in the title dance after recent successes...Mandy's a girl with momentum coming in. "I feel good again," Moore grins at podium. "I'm confident, I'm in shape, and most of all, I actually feel I match up well against Amanda. She's a tempo-setter, a rhythm fighter, and I'm a rhythm breaker. If I can mess up her timing and execution, get her a little sloppy and frustrated, I can be champion. I know I can!"

Moore in dark purple velvet-finish bikini; messy battle-bun hair; small black gloves. Amanda in lilac sport top; print sport bikini bottoms in shades of purple/blue/mauve/white/black; small black gloves; hair in slick battle braid.

During R1: Jab-and-grab from Mandy early: Amanda sees it - legs away from it, circling counter-clockwise. Minute mark - Righetti shifts weight to back (right) plant leg; right hand parries Mandy's jab; Righetti crouches down as Moore's moving in to clinch - putting left shoulder hard into Mandy's body; quick hook to head scores on Moore as she's bumped back a step. Pretty slick routine to defeat the jab-and-grab - Amanda turning Mandy, making her move her feet, countering Moore's jab with the bump-and-hook - occasionally spicing things up with a sneaky hesitation right straight down the pike. Down the stretch, Amanda's able to put 3 and 4 punch combinations together off the bump, really touching Mandy up. Moore flustered, unable to get her paws on Righetti: Amanda completes a hard-hitting shutout with a cuffing left/right to paunch, bunching Moore up "UH-P!"

R2: Moore frowning - pawing her jab to locate, but afraid to rush in: Righetti stays tall, either jabbing-with or dropping a slick little counter-right over top Mandy's poke in receipt. Getting touched up, Moore redoubles her effort to clinch: Righetti ducks under the approach jab; pumps the gut left/right...as Moore cramps up, Amanda straightens into hook-on-chin, shocking Moore back onto her heels. Mandy blinking, hurt...she roams to her right, buying a little time with a walk-around, but Righetti jumps in a stiff jab, knocking Moore's head back/shunting her ropeside. Mandy concerned about the pressure, throws a right hand off the ropes, missing over Amanda's right shoulder as Righetti's right slams home to mouth. Cue crowd roar as Moore's head jolts on impact...she flares a hook but Amanda beats her to it - swiveling Moore's head on impact. Amanda stooping down, cuffing the gut hup/hup...groaning Mandy pitches forward to tie up, but Righetti carves a short right uppercut, brushing Moore back into ropes. Hook to chin lands, loosening Moore up. Right hand slams to face, swiveling the head. Hook to paunch lands like a baseball bat belting into wet clay. Right uppercut brushes wilting Mandy into ropes again - Moore's lashes fluttering, lips parted. Righetti preps with the left forearm pressing chest, stabilizing Mandy; quick left hook swipes ribs; doubled up hook clocks chops; short, chopping right bashes back face, ejecting Moore's mouthpiece up and back into the first row. Mandy swooning, trying to drape her arms around Amanda, but it's no-go...Righetti just pushin' and a punchin', pulverizing Mandy Moore on the spot until the REF STEPS IN! TKO2 in spectacular fashion - Amanda Righetti.

After: Moore crumpling in official's arms as Righetti struts the ring hands high...just Mandy's bad luck to run into the sharpest Amanda Righetti anyone's seen in some time. "Yeah, I felt great tonight," Amanda beams in postfight. "We worked SO hard on denying her the clinch. Mandy controls fights with that jab-and-grab, and drags fighters into deep water where she can slow things down and frustrate 'em: we just weren't going to allow that tonight. Plus my hands were fast and accurate tonight - once I bumped her off, I was really picking her up cleanly, and I knew she was rocked. I love that I finished her - she's a tough cookie, a real survivor who always goes rounds, so cleaning up on her really feels great!"
