First up sees the American blonde near veteran January taking on glamour model Rosie. It is still a surprise that January’s record is so poor, and she is confident that she can give Rosie a defeat tonight, halting the Londoner’s climb up the BBU bantamweight rankings.

Rosie is a confident girl, and has predicted that she will knock January out very quickly.

January enters the ring first, and she’s wearing a white lacey basque with matching knickers, gloves and boots, and Rosie wears a scarlet bikini, with matching gloves and boots.

Round 1

These girls both pack a punch, as well as a big pair of boobs each, and this fight is starting in a frenzy, with January knocking Rosie backwards with some well timed punches to her face, and Rosie coming back quickly with a few heavy blows to January’s body. This fight was expected to be a slugfest, and at this stage, that’s what it is - now Rosie gets to January with bigger hooks than the blonde can unload, and she’s hurting the actress, her right glove bouncing off January’s pretty face, and she’s moving her back to the ropes - but January fights back, and now she’s the one handing out punishment, working on Rosie’s body, and now they’re trading body to body, and January’s getting roughed up inside by Rosie, and now the model cuffs her to the side of her head in the closing seconds.

Round 2

January’s not so keen to trade punches with the model now, and she’s showing her skills in getting around the ring, Frustrating Rosie and keeping her at distance. This is good boxing from January, and she’s controlling Rosie here, steps in and out, and she’s picking the model off and now she jabs her neatly, gets her retreating, and pins her on the ropes – but she takes a few punches in return as Rosie punches her way out of trouble, and now she has to cover up as the model hits her. Now the Brit overstretches, and January slams her to the body, and now she works her around the ring, hitting her to the body still, and, in the closing seconds, she starts to pop Rosie’s face back with solid jabs, and the model isn’t looking a happy bunny at the bell.

Round 3

January’s looking the better Jones girl again as the third round begins, and the blonde gets inside Rosie’s lead, and she’s giving the model a battering to ribs, making her yelp a little as she smacks the leather into that fine body of hers. Rosie’s backing off, and she doesn’t look great in retreat, allowing January the time and space to dictate this fight, the actress poking her backwards again, and now she whips a good right hook into Rosie’s midriff – but the model responds! Rosie thuds a couple of hefty shots over the top of January’s guard, and she’s trying to turn the older girl – but January uses her ringcraft, won’t let the Brit push her around, and the girls exchange a little flurry of punches, a flurry which ends when Rosie gets hurt by a sharp left uppercut, and again she covers up in defence, ending the round backed up to the ropes.

Round 4

And January’s on top early again in this round – she’s handing Rosie a bit of a lesson at the moment, and she’s moving the model around the ring, giving her body yet another workout with three solid right hooks, and now she lands good shot to Rosie’s jaw –s eh sent the younger girl backwards there, and she’s moving in to hit her some more, now. But Rosie’s fighting back – she’s not a girl who’s used to getting hit like this, and she unloads a pair of lovely hooks on January’s face, catches her hard with the right and that’s hurt the American, and now she’s backing off – she’s been weakened by that punch, and she’s letting Rosie get on top of her, the model landing three left hooks in quick succession, and those shots send January to the ropes, where Rosie hits her again, a good left hook, which grazes her cheek, and now January’s really slowing down – all she can do is clinch in the closing seconds of this round.

Round 5

She’s got a bit of a bruise welling up on her right cheek, but January’s still coming forwards, bringing the fight to Rosie – but the model shrugs off her punches now, and she lands her own harder ones. January’s being hurt now, as Rosie drills her gloves past her defensive guard, and this is looking tough for January, because Rosie has a good punch on her. Like Rosie, January doesn’t look good when she’s having to defend, and now she backs off, gets pinged with Rosie’s right hook, and it looks like that really hurt, as January staggers , now, gets pushed back to the ropes, and Rosie swipes her with a left, and a rightd, and January goes down. The blonde girl has a smudge of blood around her lips as she gets up at 6, and Rosie comes after her again, trying to land a big punch, with January clinging on, just running down the clock, taking shots to her body rather than expose her face.

Round 6

Rosie’s looking dominant now, and she’s immediately working January towards those ropesand she bangs away at her body in the opening moments, the blonde now clinching to the model again until the referee pulls the pair apart. Now Rosie gets at her again, and she just can’t get off those ropes, and she takes a tremendous left hook from Rosie, worsening that damage to her right cheek and eye, an eye which is beginning to close quite alarmingly now. January defends her head as best she can, still backing into the ropes, but her gloves stay tight, her elbows stay tucked in, and Rosie’s looking for an uppercut to loosen up that guard – January withstands it all, until the closing seconds when Rosie cracks a right over the top her guard, and now the blonde gets battered, but she stays upright, and Rosie just can’t find that final punch just yet.

Round 7

Back come the girls again, with January’s right eye up like a plum, but she’s trying to slug it out with Rosie, who shrugs her off, and now gives the lovely blonde a rough time in close, works her hard, and that guard begins to crumble – Rosie pushes her back and now she’s got her where she wants her again. January looks so weary as Rosie beats her up on the ropes, hits her head from side to side, and at last puts her down again. Brave January’s up at 7, but her legs are shot, her face is badly damaged, and the referee decides she can't continue in this bout.

Result: Rosie Jones stopped January Jones in round 7

This is not the result Victoria Beckham hoped for when she made these matches, and she’s seething as she watches Rosie Jones amble around the ring, milking the fans adulation here in Manchester. She’s one of around half a dozen British girls in contention for a BBU bantamweight title shot, and this victory will have done her chances of getting one no harm at all.
