The Italian model still searches for the first win of the current campaign having been stopped by both Christine Bleakley and Jennifer Hawkins lately while the Hollyoaks actress looks to rebuild her career under the Lookout! Atlantic banner and is keen to jump into every opportunity she can get even against a seemingly mediocre opponent like Canalis.

Both women think they're favorites coming into this bout, Elisabetta laughs off Jennifer's experience advantage and believes the lack of recent ring activity will hurt the fellow brunette. However Metcalfe is convinced she can dish out heavy trashing and put the Italian away quickly indicating that Elisabetta's only two victories came against the very hittable Jenny Frost and bantamweight based Marion Cotillard. "I'm bigger and stronger than her, it's as simple as that!", Metcalfe concludes her pre-fight interview with Charlie Webster and gives the Italian model in the opposite corner a proper death stare to underline her statement.

Round 1:
Both women tear into each other from the bell with Jennifer making some noise with her every punch crashing off Elisabetta's stomach as she pierces the model's defence early and whacks her around the elbows, keeps drilling the midriff until Canalis must yield real estate and jump back in avoidance; Metcalfe still clips her jaw and wobbles to the side, pours in with more jabs on the stomach and opens the Italian's eyes very wide, smacks her against the mouth thereafter and pushes towards the ropes where she continues the onslaught. Canalis tries to clinch her but loses the grip after Jennifer whacks her breasts around, finds another uppercut on the chin and spins a cumbersome looking opponent against the turnbuckle, works the single hand around the liver area; Elisabetta rocking all over the shop, drops her left arm too low and eats a hooking combo in the final seconds with Metcalfe giving her couple of early lumps and refusing to let go even after the bell.

Round 2:
Jennifer's eyes glow in delight after that first round and she jumps at her opponent straight away one more time, keeps punishing Canalis' midsection in close range as she shows superior footwork and just lashes out at the Italian who gets tagged on the chin and circles back briefly before she mounts a response on her own. Jennifer drops her tempo a bit, dwells on Canalis' lack of proper punch until a wayward hook skims off the harline and makes Metcalfe angry again; left hook over the top grazes the temple and Elisabetta turns to the side, lets the Hollyoaks girl wobbles forward before smacking her on the mouth with a right hook and piercing the guard thereafter; Metcalfe loses her footing and fails to adapt to the model's new position, eats couple of hooks on the liver herself and staggers in the middle of the ring as a left hook catches her on the chin moments later and spins around on het feet. Canalis pours in with more venom, whacks Metcalfe's jugs and makes some noise herself as she tries to send more uppercuts against the chest but gets clinched in the dying seconds of the round and must accept the stalemate with Jennifer not looking very impressed either.

Round 3:
Both women lash out at each other again, smacking facial leather and Jennifer thinks she's broken the model's resilience when she gives her couple fresh lumps just below the left eye but as she pauses briefly to investigate them, she gets tagged by a quick right hook on the nose with Elisabetta finding that harpoon to the face and wobbling the actress on the spot. Jennifer's hair spins around her face and she fails to spot another hook crashing into her jaw moments later AND SENDING HER FLAT ON HER BACK... Crowd stunned by the sudden knockdown as Metcalfe removes hair from her eyes and scrambles back upright at six... she looks livid and rightfully so as Canalis never threatened to score the first count... more slugging occurs just after the command with Jennifer determined to make up for the shocking horizontal experience, she whips overhands into the Italian's face but only gets half of the clear and bounces off the guard to lose more strenght and Elisabetta counters her around the elbows. keeps drilling the ribcage and slows the English brunette down to the point she can slice the mitts with ease in the final minute and rock Jennifer's head back & forth and almost trap her on the ropes as the knockdown eventually sinks in and has Metcalfe checking for lumps on her face during the interval.

Round 4:
It's Elisabetta's eyes turn to shine as she rips into Metcalfe's guts from the bell and uppercuts the rack to really expose the guard, worrying yelps of pain from the Hollyoaks starlet as she fails to clinch the Italian and endures a rough beating in the middle of the ring with Canalis rooting her to the spot with accurate jabbing on the ribcage. As Jennifer continues to offer nothing back and just weaves on her feet, Elisabetta ups the tempo and has the English brunette moaning loudly down the stretch, quick uppercut on the jaw shatters the mitts apart and brings a point-blank range combo on the nose and Metcalfe just stumbles to the side with Canalis slamming another hook on the temple and spinning a lacklustre actress towards the ropes. Jennifer tries to jump away but springs into a crunching left hook on the chin which almost lifts her off the ground and sends tumbling against the ropes, she turns her back to the Italian who sends couple of nasty shots on the kidneys which earn the referee's wrath and make him drag the model away much to Metcalfe's rescue. Bad sportmanship or not, Jennifer looks just to survive until the bell but still eats couple of uppercuts on the chin as her guard is on the verge of complete collapse. Elisabetta shakes her glove after the bell and bumps into the fellow brunette as Jennifer tries to whack her on the eye in last-ditch effort to salvage some pride but misses by a mile and just wobbles onto her stool earning a big laugh from the Italian model.

Round 5:
Jennifer's too slow to escape from the Italian's striking zone and gets rooted to the spot again under an overhand onslaught that tags her on the chin and adds more lumps inside the final minute. Elisabetta shatters her mitts apart and bounces off the cheeks, clips the brow ridges and keeps sinking the English brunette on her knees all the way through as the moaning and yelping starts to be too painful even for the crowd to embrace... another hooking combo just past the minute mark finally has Metcalfe trembling beyond the limit and she drops her arms to invite a mammoth left hook nailing her on the jaw one too many times... JENNIFER HITS THE DECK as her legs shoot up in the air and the model spits out her mouthpiece thinking she's done for the night.. Metcalfe remains spawled on her back with the ammount of punches since the knockdown proving to be lethal and she doesn't even make the effort of beating the count... KO5 Elisabetta Canalis!!!

AFTER: Old demons haunt Jennifer Metcalfe again; she looked in tremendous form in the opening round but allowed the Italian model to expose her below par punching resistance afterwards and never recovered from the third round knockdown. It was one-way traffic ever since then as Jennifer seemed to be affected mentally as well as physically and that's an old flaw in her armor, something for the Lookout! Atlantic trainers to really work on in the future.

Meanwhile Elisabetta Canalis scores her first win of 2013 and indicates she's not as hittable as some would like to think. According to Charlie Webster she targets Micaela Schaefer as her nearest rival so there's no surprise she doesn't head back to the locker room just yet as the German glamour model is scheduled to take on Berenice Marlohe next on the card.
