It’s hard not to think that Charlie’s been given something of a poison chalice here, as she becomes the latest soap babe to climb into the ring with the vastly improved Miss Jossa, who I sweeping girls aside as she waits for a fight with her young rival Sacha Parkinson to become free to fight it out. What Jacqueline wants to do is beat her Eastenders cc-star quickly, as the older girl makes her return to BBU action Jennifer quicker than Sacha did – and she beat the older girl in 6.

Jacqui enters the ring first, wearing a blue bikini with matching gloves and boots – Charlie joins her in a silver coloured bikini, with black gloves and boots, and the girls are definitely eyeing each other with malicious intent.

Round 1

Jacqui’s quickly into action, and she’s making good use of her height and reach advantages immediately, her left jab landing in Charlie’s face before the older girl’s really got herself set for the fight, and she follows this up with a cute right cross to pop Charlie’s head backwards, establishing control straight away. Charlie’s covering up well, but she won’t want to be Jossa’s beatup doll tonight, and she’s fighting back for all she’s worth, letting the younger girl feel her gloves on her body, Jacqui equal to the task, though and soaking up the punishment with something to spare, whipping a left hook over Charlie’s guard late in the round to stagger the older actress.

Round 2

Charlie knows that she needs to get stuck in quickly if she’s to keep Jacqueline at bay, and she’s doing well early in this round, slipping inside the younger girl’s reach to bop away at her body, the grunts she hears from Jacqui’s lips telling her that she’s getting some results there, and Jacqui’s holding and clinching to suspend the action, the referee swiftly parting the girls. But Charlie gives Jacqui some more, eagerly getting inside that reach again, showing the youngster there’s more to boxing than swapping head shots, Jacqui writhing as her left glove bangs into her flank again, and the kid’s getting worked around the ring in this round as Charlie dishes out a body beating.

Round 3

Charlie’s in her stride again, and she’s getting at Jacqueline with her busy inside work, letting the younger girl have some hefty shots to her ribs, not giving her any space to swipe those crippling hooks which hurt her in the opening round, and again the kid clinches until the referee breaks them. Now the resume, but this time Jacqui snaps Charlie’s head back with a hard jab, then gives her a nice right hook, follows it with a left once more, and Charlie’s looking in distress as the younger girl looses off a couple more right handers to her face, Charlie bouncing back to the ropes, eats another right hook, and now she’s covering up as the frowning Jacqui works hard in her attempt to put her opponent down.

Round 4

Jacqueline’s picking Charlie off now, punching her from distance in the opening seconds of the round, and Charlie’s face is scuffing up around her cheeks, the youngster’s punches now taking their toll on her. But Charlie’s trying to get inside that raking jab again, only to get smacked really hard with a right hook and she’s backed up to those ropes again – and Jacqui hits her in the face with her left and her right, and Charlie’s knees are buckling as she slumps backwards under fire, blood dribbling from her nostrils after a solid left jab whacks into her nose and mouth, a right hook skids past her ear, and Jacqui then works on Charlie’s tits, crushing them cruelly with peppering straight punches, the blonde yelping in pain. The round ends with Jenny trapped in Jacqui’s corner with the younger girl hammering her from all angles.

Round 5

Badly battered, but still game, Charlie Brooks again starts to move in on Jacqueline Jossa, getting inside the taller girl’s leading left, and whipping a neat left hook into her right flank – but Jacqui leans back, and she’s soon connecting with a hefty left, right , left combination to Charlie’s face, which has the girl stumbling sideways, then backwards, another right hook helping her on her way, and now her guard is unable to protect her as Jacqui lands another right hook, then a left, and down goes Charlie, the girl trying to beat the count, but she topples forwards as the referee gets to 7, and is counted out face down.

Result: Jacqueline Jossa knocked Chalie Brooks out in round 5.

Jacqui did what she wanted to do – beat Charlie with ease, and beat her more quickly than Sacha Parkinson did. She’s really gunning for the blonde, and she’s shouting, “C’mon Parkinson! You can’t run for ever! I want the fight, the fans want the fight! It’s just you that doesn’t, chickenshit!” Meanwhile, poor Charlie Brooks is ushered from the ring, with young Abi Phillips being lined up to fight her next.
